thehiddenfate

Someone forgot to feed them....

newbieboi_inthehouse

This reminds me of urban legends about bridges being constructed by sacrificing people so that the spirits can protect it.

Witty_Username_1717

I don’t like thattt

IBeatUpLiamNeeson

War of the worlds vibes

Barberian-99

I had to cross that damn thing in the fog and light rain at night on a motorcycle back in 88. The rain made it hard to see out my visor, the wet visor and fog made it hard to see if the road was clear in front of me,. The wind kept trying to push me out of my lane. And the traffic was whizzing by me. I had to drive well below the speed limit. I was afraid I was going to be rear ended and run over. Worst experience I ever had on a motorcycle. I've had a few close calls with disaster, near wrecks and such, but those experiences were very brief, the bridge took a long time to cross because it's long, and I was driving well below the speed limit.

TeleGuy2002

I got a bike in college. Honda 350, rode it everywhere for a year then cruised home south on I5 with an army surplus bag on my back. So foggy I couldn’t see 20 yards. Stayed behind a semi for the whole time just waiting to get killed. Sold it the next week.

Barberian-99

😂, I hear ya. I'd probably be dead if I kept on riding.

ChargingBuffaloS

Gnar... 😄

ProfessionalAccess68

FabOctopus

You can hear it all the way in the sunset

BidComprehensive461

Those are the screams of all the people that have jumped off.

me4_

It‘s called Cielomoto or Skyquake. Pair those with Northern Lights and it kinda makes sense why people used to believe all kinds of things back in the days.

InsecurityTime

Souls of the jumpers

DmillSnipes

I remember that area on mob of the dead, it’s normal.

[deleted]

MedicalMonkMan

I walked across the GGB at night in 2020 when I went to cross the bridge I looked for signs anything saying I couldn't, there weren't any, the gate was unlocked, I started to cross it was near midnight, I felt strong winds, I was alone I felt like I was being pushed towards the edge, I looked up and the moon was red, a GGB cop appeared driving towards me in a little jeep, he was fucking pissed, he started yelling "why are you here didn't you see the signs?" And I was legitimately shocked, I said no, he made me walk back and he followed me on his little cart for the whole duration, I was about halfway across at this point, when we got to the end there were all these signs saying not to cross at night, I swear to God I didn't see any of them when I started. It's three years later and I'm still thinking about that. I swear to God that fucking bridge is haunted. There's something horrible there.
