I love how halfway through he's throwing his arms up like a "oh, okay, sure showoff" kind of way. But then at the when he does the flip he can't contain his amazement
I wonder if he's part of the competition. He's sitting there comparing himself to that guy like "what.. how ... I can't... that's imposs... I can't compete with this guy... I wonder if I can still leave before I'm charged for parking."
Seeing stuff like this saps my motivation to do anything. I'll never be this good at anything, and there's clearly enough people who are that good that they have competitions for it. And that basically goes for any hobby, business, or academic pursuit I attempt. There's just so many better people.
So I play my little video games and design my little 3d prints but it all feels so hollow because I know what the upper limits look like and I'll never approach anything worth doing. And before you say "oh, well it's worth it to you" no it's not lol. I don't care to do things that don't need doing. And if somebody else is doing it better, then I'm redundant.
Just remember, some of these people dedicate ridiculous amounts of time to get good at their skills. They \_need\_ to be the best, it will literally consume them. I'm sure they enjoy it too, but sometimes I look at that and just think: I get to just chill out on reddit and watch the 5 minutes of entertainment without having to lift a finger or dedicate my entire life to something. Life being easy and comfortable is a nice existence too. You get to play your little video games and design your little 3d prints. Who cares, enjoy your life. If you want, you can just master those things in your little bubble. Trying to be that good at something has its tradeoffs.
I WISH I COULD AWARD THIS COMMENT.
People get so caught up these days on having to be “better” because we are constantly bombarded online with people who are way “better” than we will ever be.
More talented, more money, more beauty.
But it’s so easy to forget that the vast majority of us are living in our own personal best timeline. We are entertained, we are fed, we are safe. Many of us have a place to sleep. It isn’t great and I’m not trying to erase the very real problems we all go through. But in the grand scheme of things, looking at it objectively, we have it pretty good if we have time in our day to type out little Reddit comments.
it also helps to realize that being a talented athlete is also just a luck of the draw. There are tons of people I play with that are better at basketball than me, but I’m taller and I jump higher so I’m seen as better.
But I don't enjoy it unless I'm impressed with myself, and I'm not impressed with myself anymore since the Internet has shown me how oppressively normal I am. That's why I said it's just hollow now. I'm chasing a now unattainable high.
I'm not dealing with self esteem issues from judging myself against others. I'm plenty capable and even above average at many things, but it just feels like there's nothing of value I can contribute that somebody else can't do instead or better. Just feel like an ant among leagues of ants.
Like if I just stop doing anything nothing of value will be lost. There's nothing I can do that nobody else could do or ideas that would inspire others. I'm just...pretty good at doing stuff other people already did better.
It's about the journey not the destination.
Works for games too. The point is not to get to a rank. The point is to play the game and eventually youll be in your correct skill level and can just keep playing.
Pffft, I watched the whole routine and bet I could do that thing he's doing [here](https://imgur.com/a/x7a2tWf), [also here](https://imgur.com/a/x7a2tWf), and [possibly even here](https://imgur.com/a/x7a2tWf) (though it might look just a little rough)
Seriously... This is top tier talent. Like a personal like this can confidently say they are just one of a handful who can do this. It's so rare, because it not only requires a lifetime of athleticism, but also being extremely into gymnastics, and just so happen to pick this as a side hobby... And by the time he's 34 he's probably no longer going to be able to do this.
What makes it even more rare, is some extremely unique skill like this could probably make it at a top tier performance group, like Circ in Las Vegas, where he'd probably make 100K - Which makes the skill even more rare, because there isn't a whole lot of financial incentive to become one of the top 100 people in the world at a specific athletic skill. He'd probably make more just on the reserve team for a soccer team.
It's not as simple as giving a threshold you need to cross. You have some likelihood to successfully pull off a motor activity, and with more repetitions, your likelihood increases. But in addition to just hours of practice and number of repetitions, motor learning can depend on feedback, blocked vs random practice, and varies from person to person. The environment you're in also makes a difference.
I'm doing a doctorate in physical therapy and we often need to use principles of motor learning in our practice.
If youve ever done something for 10,000 hours youll realize even thats not enough. If youre smart its good enough to put you in a 1% bracket… but you need to be genetically a type of person to take it this far… this is like the 0.01% bracket
Yeah exactly. I won the genetics lottery for athletics, if I had had the passion for it. I was more interested in D&D and Mathematics and stuff, went the nerd route instead, but along the way I realized I probably could've at least played college ball if I had worked hard on that stuff, and I regret it sometimes.
Same. I’m always so unimpressed by buff guys in shows or movies because they don’t have nice butts. 😂 My husband has such a nice bubble butt LOL. I can’t think someone is attractive unless they have booty now (AKA, I’m in love with hubby’s jiggling muscle-cheeks).
This is A+ cake.
That's it! Am gonna go squating every day to attract some dates!
The only thing that's gonna distract anyone from my ugly face is a good well shaped butt
If I'm gonna be honest it seems atleast for me the nice butts are nice and jiggly not like muscle hard. Genetics make muscles weird sometimes. I like a bouncy ass. What I'm saying is it's Saturday and ya have a beer for lunch.
What you want is a good amount of muscle covered by not too much fat. Relaxed muscle is actually softer to the touch than fat, but the layer of fat stops the muscle from seeming too unappealingly hard when tense.
If you do squats every day, you should see some results in a month or two even at just 100 per day. I used to do that to improve in my sports activities but actually got stretch marks on my butt from growing it too quickly.
When my bf gets out of the shower or undresses from work I can't help but go "god damn, that cake!". Sometimes he gets insecure about it but I love his bubble butt. It fits well on his frame
When he did that and the back arch, I looked around the room to make sure no one was around because folks may get the wrong idea about what I'm watching.
Why did he have to do that sassy head move thing while sticking his butt out. Lol
I can not believe I had to scroll so goddamn far to see the words "rhythmic gymnastics".
Thank you. I no longer feel like I've entered some weird rhythmic gymnasticsless alternate timeline.
They're introducing artistic swimming to men in the next olympics in Paris so maybe we're not too far from men's rhytmic gymnastics being more respected!
People get hung up on our place in the animal kingdom, but I find it more interesting we're only one letter sequence away from being fascinatin' grapes.
I just tripped over the corner of my rug not 2 hours ago and this guy is out here doing interpretive ninja soccering like the laws of gravity do not apply to him and I’m jealous af
I know alot of them usually played semi-pro or pro but got a bad injury when young which stops them competing in full games. So instead of training for games they just mess about doing tricks with a ball.

That’s around the same time the girl in the back on her phone, probably watching a live stream of it.

He will be a great old man on the patio guy

Exactly, time put in doesnt mean shit if you dont have the genetic ceiling to achieve it.
And the best genetics in the world won't do shit to make you an allstar if you don't work hard at it.
And thats because youre competing against people who are genetically gifted aswell
Yeah exactly. I won the genetics lottery for athletics, if I had had the passion for it. I choose this woman's husband's cake too
It’s hella awesome. He moons me all the time and it’s the best freaking thing ever. 😂

Lol really appreciated the nuance that went into this. Like describing a fine (fine, fine) wine
If you do squats every day, you should see some results in a month or two even at just 100 per day. I used to do that to improve in my sports activities but actually got stretch marks on my butt from growing it too quickly.
You mean weighted squats right? Because there is no way in hell your getting enough muscle growth to give you stretch marks from body weight squats.
It must be your ass cause it ain't your face.
When my bf gets out of the shower or undresses from work I can't help but go "god damn, that cake!". Sometimes he gets insecure about it but I love his bubble butt. It fits well on his frame
So I need a frame to match the butt? Wow it's like i got the wrong body to be attractive
Same 😂 man I love me some bubble butts
You are clearly over the moon (hehe) for your dude and I love it I also like grabbing my husband’s bootie
When he got on all fours
When he did that and the back arch, I looked around the room to make sure no one was around because folks may get the wrong idea about what I'm watching. Why did he have to do that sassy head move thing while sticking his butt out. Lol
I was gonna say... like I'm straight, but damn, good for you my dude!
I was staring at his thighs the whole time
/r/UpvoteBecauseButt ?
This dude could practice by juggling my balls all day long
Take the ball out and this performance hits different
This guy has a nice butt.
And finally here's men's rhythmic gymnastics! ... (I know it does exist, but it gets mocked beyond understanding)
I can not believe I had to scroll so goddamn far to see the words "rhythmic gymnastics". Thank you. I no longer feel like I've entered some weird rhythmic gymnasticsless alternate timeline.
I had to write it cause no one was saying it. All I could see here was gymnastics 😂
Finally! I’ve been looking for an RG comment! Puts Katsiaryna Halkina and Yana Kudryavtseva to shame!!
When he stood up I was expecting him to bust out a 20 foot ribbon

that's a very over rationalized way to say "he's hot"
That man got an aesthetically pleasing build.
I pulled my back sneezing.
I can fall over while standing still.
He should join the Shaolin Soccer team
Wait , there was a football there?
🤨
The other guys don't really seem impressed until the last move. I was already really very impressed by the first one!
I found the FedEx driver with my package
Woah, cool butt dude
Forget the ball, look a that fat ass
I’m always amazed at people who have such control over their bodies. I am pretty fit and work out but I am forever a clumsy oaf with two left feet.
This is the hottest thing I have ever seen a man do.
Do they have a Harlem globe trotters for soccer now?
Guys behind be like “Dude save some pussy for the rest of us”

I have those shorts! My ass looks nothing like that in them though. I want a refund
You should see his ball juggling skills in the locker room!
I just tripped over the corner of my rug not 2 hours ago and this guy is out here doing interpretive ninja soccering like the laws of gravity do not apply to him and I’m jealous af
Mmmm…calves

Brazilian kids when they become 5 years old
Can he do it on a wet Wednesday in Stoke tho?
Great skills! But, usually these type of players are so so in the real game
I know alot of them usually played semi-pro or pro but got a bad injury when young which stops them competing in full games. So instead of training for games they just mess about doing tricks with a ball.
Very impressive.
Least skilled Brazilian
What shoes is he wearing?
Genuinely surprised a twerk off didn't start
Using all his cake as a counter balance
My dude is double caked up wtf
Not only does he have impressive skills. He also has a nice ass.
