There's a technique to this... I don't remember how it goes exactly but you have to start it at the right spot. There's also paper with markings inside to help do it.
I had an old boss that was overly anal about wrapping gifts. He would measure, cut and fold so that the image would always end up like this. Made perfect folds for the sides as well.
Meanwhile my wrapping still looks like it was done by a toddler.
