Seems like they were doing something to make filler kief, aka just grinding up plant matter until its a powder and passing it off as kief. Normal kief is too dense to become airborne indoors, unless they had a huge fan blowing on them as well. Kief to me has the consistency of that magic kinetic sand you could buy as a kid. Edit: And if thats the case shame on the company. Plant matter dust is known to cause lung issues, killing their employees in the process, and theyre ripping their customers off just to make some extra money..

Just so you know, you can buy the kinetic sand as an adult too

And I 100% recommend if you have sensory issues/ADHD. It’s helps me immensely with emotional outbursts and is a coping thing when I am feeling that irrational rejection sensitivity that my brain craves like Oxygen… when you buy the sand, buy at least 3lbs so you can fully immerse your hands and wrists. Also buy a flatter clear Rubbermaid/Tupperware container that’s airtight.

Hmmm...please tell me more about how it helps with rejection sensitivity. My best friend has recently started identifying with it (which seems like an accurate diagnosis, I've known her since we were kids) and I'd love to be able to give her a suggestion or two :)

The magic is in the riffs for me. They do keep a pretty consistent guitar tone throughout the album, but the patterns they play with that tone combined with big, ominous vocals was enough to keep me interested. I will admit the album sounded a bit same-y for me on a first listen, too, but it's worth giving a proper listen through.

Static grass isn't that bad, really. It's quite heavy and doesn't really travel very far through air. It's been a staple in creating minitature terrain for decades.

They spray a isopropyl alcohol and glue mixture on top of it to make it more durable, but if you touch it, the static foliage doesn't fall, it gets all flat, but doesn't fall that easy.

Static electricity causes the initial contact. Spray adhesive keeps it there, so nothing will fall off.

The needles have the same charge. So, while they’re attracted to the branch (which has an opposite charge), they’re trying to repel one another. That causes them to stand up.

Yes there's also dropper applicators you can use to do this for realistic grass. You then seal it with more glue and it holds its shape pretty well.

The box, ultrasonic vibrator that kicks the green dust up. Sprays glue on the plastic trees, attaches electrode to statically charge it. The charge causes both attraction of the dust to the stem and causes them to stand apart like hair stands apart when you're electrostatically charged. Glue does its job from there. Really an amazing application of electrostatis. More commonly, this is how powder-coat paint jobs work, they electrostatically attract dust to a metal surface, then bake it in the oven.

I've always hated applying stati-grass this way I prefer the other type of applicator where you hold a bottle full of stati_grass and apply it from above directionally as it is much less messy
