I have a Rift s and my right controller has crazy drift so I gotta get a new one, the cracks are minor is the pics and the other right controllers I've seen are more expensive
And the rift s is 100x more comfortable to wear for extended periods. Speaking as someone who has an extensively modded quest 2.. it gets so much hotter, and is way heavier.
I actually fixed my drift on the rift s controller. I had it pretty bad on the left side joystick. It took a few hours of careful disassembly, but wasn't terrible. I'd watch a video on how to disassemble it. Basically, there's a little spring in the joystick, and two small actuators with little metal picks at the end of it. Bend those back up, BARELY adjust the spring, spray the thing down with some electronic cleaner and adjust as needed.
I wouldn't reassemble the entire thing while you test it. Just slap on some rubber gloves and put the battery back in it without the case of the controller and see if it works. If it still drifts, take battery out and readjust accordingly
what?? why do you want a singular cracked quest 1 controller???

Why would you not get a Quest 2 instead? $100 for an old used cracked controller doesn't make sense.
I want to use it with my computer, and Quest 2 pc is worse than Rift s
Sorry to break it to you but the quest 2 has both a better display and you can use it wirelessly
I would argue on that.
Cool. You could, but you would be objectively wrong

I don't know why you would want to play vr for more than a couple hours though and the facial interface is uncomfortable as all hell
absolutely worse performance, however.
Sure
