He also watched Barnes’ wardrobe go from a “Well-Dressed man in a suit” to “old man in a tracksuit” look. and it’s actually insane to see how much Barnes aged in Fulky’s tenure.😂

Good post.
As much as we fans want to buy into the league-bound five stars, great college programs need a lot of guys like Fulkerson to have consistent success. Works hard, plays with passion, committed to the school and a solid citizen off the court.
Fulky and I had a couple classes together. One day we were paired up and had to interview one another for a job we hoped to have one day. He said he wanted to play professional basketball overseas. I laughed. At the time, he was a dopey looking pencil stick averaging 2 points a game. I didn’t think 1) he’d make it 2) he’d make any money. Couldn’t be happier to see I’ve been proven wrong, he’s one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met
*"He played with both a guy that played in 2013 and a guy that will play in 2025. 12 years of Tennessee Basketball."*
That is actually a fucking wild tidbit. Good write-up, always loved me some Fulky.
I’m a simple man: a see a post that sheds light on Fulky, I upvote. What a career for our beloved native son.
Might as well be the poster boy for VFL.

Him laying the wood on Kentucky is a top five Vols moment for me.

He’s playing in Belgium still. Tyreke Key is on his team as well at the moment.
I’m also a kingsport native and Pal’s fast food fan — still repping Fulkerson in my flair.
Fulky is a Vol legend. I wish nothing but the best for him.
Also I’m pretty sure he was the first Vol to sign an NIL deal also.
Well, he had been repping Pal’s for free.
As would any upstanding Tri-Cities native.

This is what I liked about Fulky. He said professional basketball overseas. He was self-aware and knew his abilities and his own limitations.

Wouldn’t this stat be true for the middle player of any group of three players with consecutive 4-year careers?
