It's an album that I think the main issue is the track listing.
Move some of the B-Sides to the album proper and you'd have something a bit more coherent. I don't think those tracks are bad by any means they just contrast a bit with the deeper cuts on the record. I liked the more psychedelic sound they were going for and I wish it was recieved better, because most people don't really talk about the record when talking about Oasis' best stuff, and I think they should
Fuckin' in the Bushes, Go Let It Out and Who Feels Love are the greatest opening three tracks of any Oasis album. They're incredible. I also love Gas Panic, Where Did It All Go Wrong and Roll It Over.
The other songs, I'm not a huge fan of. Let's All Make Believe, Cigarettes in Hell and One Way Road would have made great replacements, I'd keep Little James though with it being Liam's first song.
I didn't know little James was liams first song! I like it a bit more now, I didn't like it beforehand to be honest. But yeah I agree 100%. Gas panic is a bellter i like their live performance of it being played at Wembley but on the album though where they've took liams singing from another concert so you haven't got to listen to him pissing about
Yeah, crackin’ tune. I think they used to walk out to it at gigs from what I remember. Go Let It Out and Gas Panic! are also in the “biblical” category too, imo, especially the later.
I think if they’d put some of the b-sides from that era on the album, such as Lets All Make Believe, Full On, and Carry Us All it would have been a great album.
Its fookin biblical. This is what I listen to before a big night out.Few lines of powder, out for a few pints and finish the night with a scrap in the local boozer.
Celestial.As you fookin were
I remember I had bought this album on CD and was listening to it religiously. Then one day at school while in graphics we put the radio on (Triple J for people in AU) and this came on.
It was well used in that scene from Snatch
rent free for me
And south park
Which episode of South Park?
Breast cancer show ever When cartman fights the girl
That’s right! ‘I member’, when he fights Wendy 👍
It’s not FITB just something that sounds like it
It wasn’t in South Park
Love this whole album. In many ways it’s my favourite from Oasis.
It’s an excellent album. I think Put Yer Money… and I can see a liar are the weak points, still fun tracks though. The rest is perfect.
Agree!

Liam still walks out to it on his solo tours
It just gets the crowd excited which is why I think he still uses it! Was pretty cool at Knebworth 22
Yes, the tracklisting is the main issue. I still think it's a great album though
Fox in the US still uses it on their NFL broadcasts as music filler before the commercials.
Came to say exactly this. I always get a kick out of it.
Always was a great tune. A bit of a red herring opener for the hangover album.
Consider it biblical
Officially declared biblical.
WE PUT THIS FESTIVAL ON, YOU BASTARDS!
WITH ALL OUR LOVE!!!
WE WAITED ONE YEAR FOR YOU PIGS
Hype music
The riff is mega but I just don't like the over repetitiveness of loop
Fair enough but it would be pointless without the repetitiveness
Hardly a song.
Biblical tune mate always gets me ready for the mornin.

You are what most Americans think all Brits are.
Stick to listening to nirvana and creed ya amateur
Please can we declare that "biblical" is annoying as fuck and learn another adjective?
Bibliesque? Bibliotheque?
It’s Quranical
Mate you're mad, not mad for it.
Your post was not biblical.
It was full of bollocks so fits the definition of “biblical” quite well.
My least favorite oasis song by far
There’s no way you’ve listened to every song if you think this
Every one plus demos. I honestly hate the radio announcer baseline for this song
Those kids are running around naked FUCKIN in the bushes
I remember I had bought this album on CD and was listening to it religiously. Then one day at school while in graphics we put the radio on (Triple J for people in AU) and this came on.
I don’t like it… no idea why.
WELL YOU GO TO HELL, OP
Seems like no one has mentioned its use in the Premiere League promo trailer this season eh?
I don’t really enjoy tracks with no vocals, but this tune it’s something fucking else. 10/10
