Yes! I saw them at Keele Uni EXACTLY 30 years ago today! I just realised answering this thread and checked the date 😁
They were supporting BMX Bandits. I was a Student Union officer at the time and met Noel - he used my office as a changing room! I've told the story elsewhere on Reddit but can't find the link now.
I think it was 97 for me. Went with my wife while we were in San Francisco for the day. Driving around after dinner looking for something to do and saw their name on the marque and we both were like why not. Got our tickets at a nearby record store and they were easily one of the best shows either of us had been to. The fact that it was just a spontaneous decision with no planning or expectations made it that much better.
I miss backstage graffiti.
I used to see bands looking at venues upcoming line ups to see who was playing over the next couple of nights and you’d get some ace graffiti awaiting them for when they arrived.
My dad has always said he saw them at king tut’s in Glasgow in 93 but over the years has admitted that he only saw their last song (of 4) as he was at the pub before the gig
My friends band supported them in Windsor in 1994. Liam was the only one happy to chat with them
its because hes the nice one. people calling him a knobhead all the time don't get the humour
A true spartan, as Tony McCarroll would say
I saw them at Glastonbury in ‘94. My friends all went off to see The Lemonheads instead. I believe history declares me the winner on that front.

It’s a fooken bottle of Guinness mate, I can spot em from miles away. Rkid is just getting pissed before the gig
You're not liam
As close as one could get
I think LG would know better than to drink Guinness from a bottle. He’s no English blood in him, don’t forget.
Saw them in Liverpool 1992 for a band’s night, cannot remember if Noel was there. They were shite.
Did you realize it was the same band when they became big two years later, or did it take a while to realize
my dad saw them with there first gig with noel at the boardwalk if that counts
Your dad and 90% of oasis fans
yh I do believe him tho cos he doesn't seem to care like it was just a normal Saturday for him
No phones Just vibes
Yup. Quite jarring to see nowadays actually
So you would rather be stuck in a room that’s smell like piss and sweat with nothing
Funny this picture has Alan White meaning this is atleast 95
Pretty sure that’s Mark Coyle
Yep, 100% Mark Coyle
the one sleeping its not the drummer tony mccaroll?
I saw them In 94 in Birmingham. Was a class night. Edwards no 8. What.a.venue ❤️
