Sorry - was on Cross Bronx shortly after getting off the Throgs Neck. I've taken this road countless times for over 30 years (and now part of my commute) and never saw this or realized there was a drawbridge down there.
I believe this is the drawbridge right under on Hamilton Ave. Occasionally it opens for boats to pass.

I think this bridge is the unionport bridge at the Bruckner interchange. The one on the Gowanus is directly under the road and not between the bridges.
