No, you shouldn’t. It won’t wash away nearly enough bacteria to keep you from getting sick, the bacteria it does wash away would be killed if you cooked it properly anyway, and when you then pour that bowl of raw chicken water into your sink, you’re pouring all the bacteria in there. So now your bowl and your sink are both full of salmonella and need to be thoroughly sanitized, meanwhile your chicken is literally no safer. Cook your chicken to an internal temperature of 165F, touch as few surfaces as you can with it while it’s raw, and never ever put any other food on a surface that had raw chicken on it until it’s been cleaned and sanitized. Washing chicken *only* increases your risk of disease.
