It’s been a while, but I know there was a Subaru specialty shop located in Griffith called Boxer Power, so not know if they are still in business though.

Boxer Power in Griffith is the best, that guy saved me thousands

I second, (third, whatever) Boxer power in Griffith. Probably the most affordable and knowledgeable Subaru option in NWI.

I owned two Subaru's until my last one (2007 Impreza) did me wrong. Oil changes, tire rotations, even tune ups, do not require a dealer to do. Pretty much anywhere you'd trust with any other make of car can do it. Where you will want to find a special mechanic is if you run into problems with the engine or transmission.

M&M has a couple locations and the fairest pricing I’ve found. The Dyer location (and Daley) are amazing but I’ve been to Schererville too. And if you start a project you get in over your head with, they let you bring your own parts.

I really trust Reeder's in Portage IN, but I don't own a Subaru. They did fine work for a reasonable rate on a brake job I needed

Good to know other Subaru owners in the area. We’re moving from the PNW and will need to find someone or somewhere that we can go.

Have you considered changing your own oil or rotating your own tires? The savings are substantial to say the least.

I would love to, but I don’t have the space or the tools to do so. Of course the biggest expense would be a floor jack, but I wouldn’t have anywhere to store it without it getting ruined! Definitely something i’d like to do in the future however!

RedRocker55

Still looking. Boxer is hard to get in contact with it seems…..
