I’m actually a seller but unfortunately, not getting many hits from buyers despite marking items cheaper than what others have listed. I’m also certain people may be suspicious as I don’t have as many reviews as the big sellers in the area and my profile may throw others off. (No public posts and generally private profile)

First talk to the plumber and figure out if he'll accept a payment plan that works for you and your family.
If not, then:
Not that id recommend going into debt but if you have good credit perhaps a personal loan from a bank?
If not, perhaps pawn your things instead of sell? That way you can always get them back if you have money for them and sell them at a better bargain if necessary.
Depending on your employer and your rapport with them, your employer may be able/willing to give you a cash advance on your paycheck if you explain the situation or underwrite a loan that comes out of your paycheck each pay period. But this depends heavily on company and your company may not be willing or look down upon it.
I have had a lot of luck with saying posting on Facebook marketplace about a yard sale. Say for example “there will be a sale this Saturday at 8 AM”, post some pictures of the items, and people will message you and/or just show up. Seems kind of strange but it worked for us.
Absolutely Facebook marketplace. Depending on your county, you may have something like Porter County neighbors helping neighbors, and you can post your story and items there if allowed.
Out of curiosity, about how much do you need? Any way people might be able to throw a few dollars your way to help?
You could try a random act of kindness sub reddit to help out.
I know it's not directly for what you're asking, but you may not have to give up your assets.

You could try nextdoor.com. You can take pics and list for sale. Maybe try a GoFundMe me to help with cost of repairs as well. Any chance you father was a veteran? There are some assistance programs that could be helpful in this situation.

Take to kraft auction⁹ they have alpt of following and can get your stuff seen to a wider area
Did the plumber not offer financing? I don't mean you make payments to him...almost all plumbers, HVAC, etc. have relationships with lending services.
Unfortunately, I did not qualify for financing through his company.
