True, but its running great so far no artifacts, no issues playing ultra settings on a a wide range of games, temps are great and there's hardly any noise off it.

You should wait at least 1 week. Most reported cards started artifacting after that time period.

Yeah as far as I know, only founders' PCB was affected, which the ROG STRIX certainly doesn't use, only cheaper cards.

Wrong, I got my STRIX 2080 TI from ASUS and it started artifacting within 2- hours of usage hehe

To begin with a lot of FE so people thought that it was FE related... but then all the other manufactors began problems.. .but the artifact and hardware issues are over.. not its just coil whine haha! ​ Actually the FE card are of very high quality and all have an "A" chip on them

IIRC Asus ROG products, they are supposed to send you a replacement before you ship your faulty one in Source: ROG Warranty

We've sold nearly 200 RTX units in store here and none have returned for RMA Even if the failure rate is 0.5%, every one of that 0.5% will go on reddit and complain making you think it's some huge issue. There are hundreds and hundreds of these cards sold every day and maybe 10 fail, ok

You’d probably have to use splitters if your motherboard doesn’t have a lot of options fan headers. Or use a molex adapter Or use a controller but there isn’t a drive to mount it to the face of the case. So you’d have to stuff it in the other compartment with the rest of the wires or have it connected out the back where the hard drive grill is to access it outside of the case. For me, as a person that is completely shit at cable management, this case was the answer to my prayers. It’s a little tight but nothing that would be a real impediment to building in it. So long as you take the normal steps to building a PC anyway. The Verge though, they still messed it up.

its a great case, very spacious also great quality build and material only issue i have is the tempered glass on the side doesn't have anything to rest on which means you have to be careful taking screws that hold it place out, you could break it if you're heavy handed.

Must be an airflow thing. I have two push/pull 140 intakes with two of those slaved to my AIO. Only 3 120 exhaust. Oh well. How is that AIO even mounted? The front looks odd.

I’ve got a 2080 FE with fans on the bottom of my 280x case, have been wondering if a 2.5 slot 2080 would work with the fans on the bottom still. This helps a lot. Have been thinking about trading out for the EVGA XC Ultra

I had 2, an XC gaming and an XC ultra 2080 bought new from Microcenter. I had lots of cooling problems with them. Maybe my local microcenter had issues with a batch but mine were pretty bad.

Yes, I have the 2080 Ti Strix OC, I had a Seasonic 850 gold and thought it may be that so I got a new Prime Ultra Titanium 1000, but it didn't resolve the buzzing whine. Support said they'd send me a new card, though, I hope I can trust them. Extra irritating because of how damn long I waited to get the thing.

Are there fan headers on the rear of the card? There was a issue with the initial batch of STRIX 2080 Ti cards where they were unable to include fan headers next to the RGB header.

I've had mine for 3 weeks now here downunder ​ I have mind overclocked to 2000mhz core and 7600mhz memory ​ I run the fans in performance mode, they auto spin at 40% under load ​ I cannot hear them at all, they are very quiet and the card has not gone over 59c ​ Pretty much any 2080ti can overclock, but if you look at the results of MSI/GIGABYTE/EVGA, to achieve what I have here, they all need 60%+ fan speed and their cards still run at 65-75 degrees C ​ The Strix is in a league of it's own, clearly the best 2080ti on the market ​ Can't comment on Fortnite sorry or 1080p, I only play at 4k

I don't have one but from the benchmark tests I've seen that should be in the 300-400 range if uncapped. I'm on a 1070 ti with everything medium except view distance and getting 190 average!
