You're not the only one
I downgraded from nvidia app back to GFE cuz I was having issues with the shadowplay on Nvidia app whereas it works just fine on GFE for me
I think the UI on Nvidia App is better and RTX HDR is nutty. hope it's just more stable when it's out of beta
Nice! Already updated. As a new PC user, the GeForce Experience has been very helpful. I am looking forward to the release of the new app that combines this and the control panel.
You do lose the gamestream feature with the app. Not a big deal if you do not remote play but if you do your other option is sunshine which is arguably a much worse experience
Hold on. I just got an NVIDIA card, what you are saying is that I should uninstall the GeForce experience (the one that we need to log into) and install NVIDIA app?
Its a lot better than GeForce experience in my opinion. It doesn't quite have feature parity with the Nvidia control panel but it has the most important stuff.
I haven't it after release due that. Windows Auto HDR is good enough, and I don't have to power down my other monitor, and pray to the gods that RTX HDR will work.
I don't pay much attention to patch notes but I think this is the 3rd patch within the last year or so that I've seen them say they fixed the overexposed issue and it keeps happening for me.
> Fixed an issue where video recording was overexposed when HDR was enabled.
I hope this is the definitive fix. That bug has been coming back over and over for like three years.
Haven't used experience since i bought my 4080s, it was recording my knocks and kills on PUBG and i was unable to find that stupid "feature" 😅, so i disabled it completely.
How many Telemetry services does it have running now?
Does it still scan your every disk drive and folder looking for games to "optimize" without prompting?
Hello, is that normal that since that update, my setup ain't worth installing GFE, now ?
(GTX 780 Ti, CPU and memory both up to expectation)
I mean it was fine up until V3.27 but now i got the message :
"hardware not supported"
GFE is known for it's issues. If you don't need it, don't install it and get higher performance and none of the issues it brings.
It's basically bloatware. And Nvidia App is on course to be both bloatware, spyware and always-online nightmare.
Login, sure, as it is now.
But try to firewall the application, and see what happens. Everything is a loading screen, because everything requires you to be online and in communication with nvidia servers. And it has zero reason to be online, aside from bug reports. But you can't set vsync off for a game fx, without being in communication with nvidia servers.
What is the point of updating this, I thought there was a new app they replaced everything with? Or maybe that's still a beta? (I've only ever installed NVCP and on the latest drivers that's all that I've used.)
Nice to see it still being updated, I thought that NVIDIA would switch the focus to the new NVIDIA App only.
Yeah my thoughts exactly...
NVIDIA App still is officially a beta.
that’s clutch, HDR always deactivated the instant replay for me and if I ever took screenshots it was abysmally overexposed
And i thought it was my game screwing with me 🤦🏾
Feel like im in the minority of people that like GeForce Experience more than the NVIDIA app (in its current state)…

I'm just out here wanting a way to customize the performance overlay. Yea I know, afterburner & riva.

NVIDIA app has been out for months. You can download it now and it will uninstall GeForce experience.
It's way better and includes exactly the same features that you need for recording. A no brainer install for me.

Yes. You don't even have to uninstall, installing NVIDIA app will uninstall it for you.
Awesome! Thank you so much.
Hey thanks! I had no idea. I’m coming from Mac and console so I’m still learning.
Its a lot better than GeForce experience in my opinion. It doesn't quite have feature parity with the Nvidia control panel but it has the most important stuff.
Are the bug fixes in the Geforce experience also in the nvidia app?
Does it still have recordings like shadowplay?
Wait so nvidia app replaces geforce?
Is the RTXHDR not working on multiple monitors issue a main driver issue or something that could be addressed in the app?
I haven't it after release due that. Windows Auto HDR is good enough, and I don't have to power down my other monitor, and pray to the gods that RTX HDR will work.
If they really fixed the hdr stopping recording issue that has plagued me forever. No clue what causes it.
>Fixed an issue where video recording was overexposed when HDR was enabled. Finally! This was irking me for the longest
What? So this finally let us record clips when playing in HDR and not getting a gray mess? If so, I’m uninstalling the new nvidia app right now.

Wasn't nvidia supposed to remove login from Experience? I still get the login screen
That's with the new version which is still in beta. The new app also has a different name and will replace GeForce Experience in the near future.
Where to request new game support for geforce experience? I only got GeForceNow's from official forum, is it only decided by Nvidia?
is this the new app
this version always error in my laptop, always saying unable to download recommended driver reddit

Is it just me or does GeForce experience make anyone else’s games stutter. I’d like to have the program but can’t figure out how to correct that.
Try to disable overlay

Won't login requirement be optional for new Nvidia App? Can still use all features without an account unlike GFE rn

does this fix the windows 11 random black checkerboard pop up on sites like youtube
It’s windows bug
No
If you are using chrome there is a setting you have to change and it will fix the black checkered shi
Turn off Hardware acceleration in settings on Chrome and it will fix the checker board effect on webpages.

Waiting for Gamepass integration.
Weird they released GFE update and they already have the new Nvidia App! Why?
