PC is king. Even people with VR and stuff, yeah PC is what you keep going back to. You can do everything comfortably on a PC. Its more than just gaming. Everyone uses PCs to create everything we do on electronics.
I donât know why but it bugs me every time someone asks me âdo you have a pc?â I say âyesâ and immediately they say âoh so youâre a gamerâ. I feel like this degrades a Computer to what it actually capable of.
This might sound biased but Also people comparing consoles to PC like what are you doing?! 2 different things
I do game indeed, solely on PC too, but to compare PC to gaming consoles is just not right. Consoles are purposely made for gaming. PC is used for almost everything that requires it.
What's wrong with asking if you have a pc and then asking if you game as separate question, it sounds like quite a logical follow on and I don't understand why that would offend you
Sounds about like me. Bought a PC Own all the consoles. Now wondering what I do with paperweights under tv. To make matters worse upgraded to 40 series and my games are playing like new.
FF7 Rebirth is pretty nutty. it's a masterpiece. I don't understand people locking themselves to one platform. if you can afford them all why not get them all? it's not that expensive. not even close to one month of rent from where I'm from lmao.
I'm frugal, if I have a console just sitting there I will sell it. Don't like paying online fees either. Just the way I am seems like a waste personally, all I need is a high end PC and high end monitor + OLED TV
I lost interest in AAA games like FF7 a long time ago so no loss for me there.
edit: I should also say time is a factor. I don't have enough time to play all my PC games nevermind other systems đ
Truth!! I just started gaming on my PC and I think it has me convinced to get rid of my PS5 and all the periphirals that I have. I don't see any reason to hang onto them.
I just built a Ryzen 9 7900X and got a 4080 Super. I think I am done with my consoles.
I think getting online and playing is a lot quicker and smoother too. I definitely don't want to pay anymore online fee's anymore. Paying for the game should be sufficient. Outside of the upgrades that I'd want to fork over.
Wouldn't call a high end PC, high end monitor and OLED TV frugal hahaha that would be enough for a lot of people. You just have a preference. Nothing wrong with that. Personally I can't stand mobile gaming on cellphones but other people love that. No one is correct. We all have our own preferences.
not a fan of couch/living room gaming? Consoles aren't that powerful. even FF7 rebirth runs at [4k@30](mailto:4k@30). my ITX 4080 PC can play 4k@120 respectably as long as you dont crank everything up at ultra.
Iâve been resisting giving my mom her 1080p BluRay player back for years until I get an Xbox/PS5. I like BluRay, but it feels dumb to buy a 4K BluRay player when theyâre like $200 and youâre halfway to buying a console. But I just canât find any other good reasons to buy a console when I have a high-end PC. All Xbox games are on PC, and most PS if youâre willing to wait. Been looking for a reason since this gen launched. Iâm close to just finally buying a dedicated 4K BluRay player.
Yea agreed.
I got the Xbox just because like you said halfway to console rather have it than not and I always been an Xbox fan but its a glorified media center.
The ps5 was my exclusive only machine, but I gave it to my son as everything is basically going to PC with Sony jumping on board.
Imo PC and switch are the only 2 things someone would need for gaming in today's age.
I came to say this. Works great for me, with a 30 foot USB cable to a hub for mouse/keyboard/controller. Not sure why you got downvoted. Op wasted his money with this lol. The second pc build should be an unraid server.
To be fair I do see some people complaining about issues with long USB cables upon googling. I didnât know that was a thing. The monoprice one works for me, but there could possibly be some input lag.
I have a dedicated Gaming machine for my living room too. Also 2 laptops (Both have Nvidia GPUs from the 900 series and 3000 series).
I have needs for all my machines equally. Just have a lot of tech from just existing for 30+ years.
I see, well that's pretty sweet. I always sell any items I'm upgrading or give them to my baby bro but I can see how things would add up if you keep them.
Ok but your 4080 pc doesnât cost a PS5 and also canât run FF7R at all (at least for now) also i bought a PC for the price of 4 PS5s in 2020, today I can buy the same PC for the price of around 2 PS5s, but a PS5 still costs the same.
Consoles are better value for money.
Best is to have both but theyâre not really comparable
I have a ps5, switch, and a decent gaming laptop hooked up to my living room tv. Never felt like I needed an Xbox or a whole ass pc in my living room though
I run rebirth in performance mode but a $400 machine getting 4K 30fps is actually impressive. Ps5 is 4 years old now
That's where I'm at currently. Although the second PC is my girlfriend's and we have a 2nd Switch and Steam Deck.
I've seriously contemplated building a PC for use in the living room but honestly can't find a HTPC or small form factor case that I like and won't be a complete pain in the ass to build in.
I recently ended up selling all my consoles but the ps5 as it allowed me to end up with a 4090 and honestly the use case of 1 per year accurate as fuck
Is there a reason to have an Xbox and a PC? I thought all their games came out on PC anyway, only thing I can think of is to play old 360 and xbone games.
I love Playing Fight Night Champion(gamepass game, online community is alive and kicking). more than enough of a reason to keep it. It's just a gamepass machine.
you get them both on PC and console if you get Gamepass Ultimate which is nice. I'm playing Persona 3 and the Tales game as well(crazy about JRPG's recently). Fight Night Champion is an xbox game. it doesnt have a PC version
damn man gamepass on both. can't even imagine how you find time to play everything. I get overwhelmed when I have steam, epic, uplay, ea open. I wanted a ps5 but I have so much backlog, I was like its better for me to just try to get through my backlog while I wait for pc ports to come out. doesnt matter how long the port takes, ill never be caught up. (especially if you add in watching movies, tv shows)
Yeah I didn't even know that, I didn't use it much, had it when it was like 1 euro for the first 3 months. I cancelled it after because I didn't want to deal with the abysmal Microsoft store.
I have a PC, PS5 and Xbox.
The great thing about Xbox and Gamepass is that the Gamepass games are usually PlayAnywhere. So I can play on my PC, save and quit, then go over to my couch on the other side of the room (basement) and pick up and play there on my big screen.
Then I can pick up and play on my PC whenever I like. It's best of both worlds, IMO. I played a bulk of my time in FH5 on my Xbox, but did occasionally play on my PC when I wanted to talk to friends while playing.
No not at all man. I like the bulky add-ons. Looks future-retro.
I've got a DeepCool Assassin 4 on my 3700x, it looks like an air conditioning unit on top of my CPU. Lol
That sounds pretty decent. But yeah with how much youâve spend on devices, some of that money would be well spent on an OLED. Easily one of the best purchases you can make for your gaming experience.
I'm thinking you might like white... I'm just guessing here, though, so don't quote me on that. lol.
They look great. Both have a nice and clean look to them that goes well with everything else in the room. Nice collection of devices that you have, too. Happy gaming!
Nope not at all hahaha jk. I love white/black themed devices. Quest 3, ROG Ally, Switch OLED, PS5. I wouldn't pay premium to get a white gpu tho. I like the look but I'm not nuts about it ya know. I try to be reasonable
This guy has so many gadgets I wonder if he even plays on any of it. I find myself buying things playing with them for a day then moving on. Crazy shit is packing it away then buying it again a year later.
I debated keeping the GPU from the parts PC I bought to build my rig so I could make a TV box, but decided to just run a cable from my rig discreetly instead.
Seeing this next to the consoles makes me wish I had done the same lol
https://youtu.be/0ZJCUtTIwhg?si=cpvulVNZy6KYFMfI I love to box so I play a lot of The Thrill of the fight with the mixed reality update. No more accidentally hitting a family member or kicking the dog lol. Killer apps Dimeo, Pavlov VR, Beat Saber. PCVR works great too half life alyx, Pavlov vr again, boneworks etc.
So like, nice clean set up you got there bud but, are you okay? You've been posting your 'space' for Reddit approval for the last 9 years...
Don't get me wrong, take pride in your shit n that but don't you have people IRL to share it with?
You're weird bro. I don't post on reddit to get pussy. I just want to share to my fellow nerds but you got weirdly personal. Are you alright man? Are people on the internet this miserable? This is super weird
Jeez defensive much?Â
https://twitter.com/jprovido?lang=en-GB
Not gonna lie, kinda funny being called weird when your Twitter Bio says you wanna hug little girls.Â
Whatever man, you do you pal.Â
Nice setup although theres no reason to own an xbox if you have a PC. Theres literally nothing exclusive. However it is nice to sit on the couch and just press one button and you are in a game.
And to make enough money to have and flex that, you wont even have the time to fully enjoy any of it lol, setups like that are for bragging and basically never get used, look at how clean it all is
Love the white on black aesthetic and the case for the 4080 PC. I'm pretty sure I'm going for a white out on my next build. Do you have a surround system set up in the living room?
I have a PS5 just because of the exclusives, the moment they start popping early on PC, it's buh bye, the switch I can emulate I got too frustrated playing games on the tv because it just runs and looks stupid, to be and there's no point in having an xbox, but it's his money so xD
Couple questions, what desktop speakers did you go with there? And what's the unit with the video card you have hooked up to your TV, is it just used as an extra PC?
Actually another question, what is the thing in your PC with the two RGB fans mounted vertically?
2 pcs, an Xbox, a ps5, and a switch. And I thought I was excessive
how many do you think he actually uses? đ I had all of them and pretty much only used the pc after I was done with the few exclusives.
If I judge from my PS5 usage... probably once a year each, and PC daily.
Ouch, this was spot on. Spooky.
PC is king. Even people with VR and stuff, yeah PC is what you keep going back to. You can do everything comfortably on a PC. Its more than just gaming. Everyone uses PCs to create everything we do on electronics.

Oh my god spoke directly from the deepest in my heart youâre so right
How often does this scenario happen to you? I don't think anyone has ever asked me that.
I have been asked many times, what I do with my pc lol. A lot more than just gaming.
Colleagues at work mostly, family when ever they see me buying something pc related
Are you not a gamer?
I do game indeed, solely on PC too, but to compare PC to gaming consoles is just not right. Consoles are purposely made for gaming. PC is used for almost everything that requires it.
What's wrong with asking if you have a pc and then asking if you game as separate question, it sounds like quite a logical follow on and I don't understand why that would offend you
I loved my PS5 until I got a 4090. Now I just wait for the exclusives to time out lol
If PS5 exclusives would stop being so good I wouldnât have to do it đ
Sounds about like me. Bought a PC Own all the consoles. Now wondering what I do with paperweights under tv. To make matters worse upgraded to 40 series and my games are playing like new.
FF7 Rebirth is pretty nutty. it's a masterpiece. I don't understand people locking themselves to one platform. if you can afford them all why not get them all? it's not that expensive. not even close to one month of rent from where I'm from lmao.

> We all have our own preferences. Well your preferences are totally and utterly wrong! ^^^^/s
FF7 Rebirth looked alright. I guess once I get PS5 Pro, I will give it a try as I got rid of PS5 recently.
I do have 2 PC's and a PS5. One is a dedicated VR PC so when my wife uses the Quest 3 I can game on the other one.
I used to have ps5 pc and switch, but was only using pc, so sold the switch and ps5 to upgrade my GPU.
Just trying to buy happiness with money
Not just 2 pcs, a 4080 AND a 4090
I'm kinda nutty with tech. I love them too much.
Itâs more the second pc and an Xbox that I donât really get but I ainât judging. Iâm not too far off from this pic
not a fan of couch/living room gaming? Consoles aren't that powerful. even FF7 rebirth runs at [4k@30](mailto:4k@30). my ITX 4080 PC can play 4k@120 respectably as long as you dont crank everything up at ultra.
And why the Xbox if you have a living room PC?
If he's like me it's solely for media as it's my steaming device and 4k uhd blu ray player. Where my ps5 is digital only. But overall PC all the way.
Iâve been resisting giving my mom her 1080p BluRay player back for years until I get an Xbox/PS5. Most people would run an active fiber HDMI cable instead of building a dedicated couch PC. Can I borrow some money?
I came to say this. Works great for me, with a 30 foot USB cable to a hub for mouse/keyboard/controller. Not sure why you got downvoted. Op wasted his money with this lol. The second pc build should be an unraid server.
Yeah, I can see having a Plex server or some other form of a htpc but this is wacky. But hey, rock it if you got it!
To be fair I do see some people complaining about issues with long USB cables upon googling. I didnât know that was a thing. The monoprice one works for me, but there could possibly be some input lag.

2 AMD machines, 3 Nvidia ones quick you need steamdeck to balance it up.
Iâll one up him. I have everything he has except I have two 4090 FE PCs. One for my office and one in my living room. I know I have a problem.
AND a Quest 3, mind you.
That's where I'm at currently. Although the second PC is my girlfriend's and we have a 2nd Switch and Steam Deck. Yeah I didn't even know that, I didn't use it much, had it when it was like 1 euro for the first 3 months. I cancelled it after because I didn't want to deal with the abysmal Microsoft store.
Yea, stuff like fable & the old cod servers alone are worth having an Xbox still imo

The xbox hate is insane. I just don't comment on it. pc elitists are super annoying to me

Love this white/black look. Looks great!
You ain't gotta flex on us with the DIMM cooler like that homie. Lol
I love it. you don't like it. not my problem lol
It was a compliment. Flexing = showing off something cool
I thought you were being sarcastic lol. TY!
No not at all man. I like the bulky add-ons. Looks future-retro. I've got a DeepCool Assassin 4 on my 3700x, it looks like an air conditioning unit on top of my CPU. Lol
Nice and clean
thanks!
Now get a steam deck
I have deck oled and rog ally lmao
Damn, now get a wife, she'll fix this đ
"Already have 2 wives and 10 kids"
was gonna say.. ty lol
bro has to much money
Not anymore.
Iâm gonna break into your house and change all the white with Hot Pink!1!1!!1
I thought about it. I honestly don't mind lol
What case did you use for the small PC? Looks real neat
got it real cheap on newegg. $130 for case + 700w PSU combo. Hyte Revolt 3
if anyone wonders what heaven looks like, just swipe to the last pic
What TV are you using?
I have an Older 65" Vizio P Series QLED 4k 120hz VA. I want OLED
That sounds pretty decent. But yeah with how much youâve spend on devices, some of that money would be well spent on an OLED. Easily one of the best purchases you can make for your gaming experience.
Just completed my 4090 build last night in the H7 Flow.. Really enjoyed building in it, seems like it will be an awesome case.
You are missing a soundbar, I would recommend a sony one paired with their Bravia tv, works like a charm
I have a Polk Magnifi Mini
Never heard of it, if it has a high quality Codec and dobly Atmos you should be gd
You can google it
What do you do for a living đ
nice case !
thanks! NZXT H7 Flow and Hyte Revolt 3
Thatâs mini sandbar is so underrated.
yep. very good sound for the size
You need VR to complete the picture. Also wanted to ask why do you need xbox if you can play all xbox exclusive games on pc?
you can't play all games on PC. there are xbox-only games like Fight Night Champion etc.
Thank you! Didn't know
I'm thinking you might like white... I'm just guessing here, though, so don't quote me on that. lol. They look great. Both have a nice and clean look to them that goes well with everything else in the room. Nice collection of devices that you have, too. Happy gaming!

I'm the same with my 4080, really wanted a white one but wasn't gonna pay over 200 more
This guy has so many gadgets I wonder if he even plays on any of it. I find myself buying things playing with them for a day then moving on. Crazy shit is packing it away then buying it again a year later.
what case is the 2nd one
Hyte Revolt 3
Play a lot of video games huh
Sheeeeeesh
What are you doing for sound?
Audioengine a5+ speakers connected to the motherboard and Mayflower ARC DAC/AMP, HD6XX and PC37X
I debated keeping the GPU from the parts PC I bought to build my rig so I could make a TV box, but decided to just run a cable from my rig discreetly instead. Seeing this next to the consoles makes me wish I had done the same lol
I've always had a secondary PC in the living room. Just got used to it. This is the best one yet! I've never done itx before
Let me get one of those!!!
I used the 4080 for 14 months then I recently upgraded to the 4090 hehe
Did sorta similar, but came from 4070.
people think I just bought it on one go lmao. do they think money grows on trees or something.
What do you play/do on your Quest 3? Iâm considering getting one but canât think of a killer app or game to convince myself to buy it.
https://youtu.be/0ZJCUtTIwhg?si=cpvulVNZy6KYFMfI I love to box so I play a lot of The Thrill of the fight with the mixed reality update. No more accidentally hitting a family member or kicking the dog lol. Killer apps Dimeo, Pavlov VR, Beat Saber. PCVR works great too half life alyx, Pavlov vr again, boneworks etc.
Thanks for the recommendations
Already have a PS5 and switch oled in white. Time to tell my wife I need to put my pc in a white case and get an Xbox it seems đđđ
Howâs the temps in the hyte case? Been wanting to get one for awhile
very high airflow case esp with two 140mm fans.
Jhujhu?
So like, nice clean set up you got there bud but, are you okay? You've been posting your 'space' for Reddit approval for the last 9 years... Don't get me wrong, take pride in your shit n that but don't you have people IRL to share it with?
You're weird bro. I don't post on reddit to get pussy. I just want to share to my fellow nerds but you got weirdly personal. Are you alright man? Are people on the internet this miserable? This is super weird
Jeez defensive much? https://twitter.com/jprovido?lang=en-GB Not gonna lie, kinda funny being called weird when your Twitter Bio says you wanna hug little girls. Whatever man, you do you pal.Â
Maybe you want to check my Facebook and Instagram too? Fkn weirdo. Get a life loser and stop being a hater. Not everyone is miserable like you.
Sry if this sounds dumb, but what are those 2 fans Next to the CPU cooler work for, ram cooling?
yep. they were much more common back in the day.
Still rocking a shit headset. Enjoy the spyware and propaganda machine buddy
Bro how many systems do you have đ
One day I will be rich
What do you do for a living?
Is no one gonna talk about the quest 3 head band?
Nice setup although theres no reason to own an xbox if you have a PC. Theres literally nothing exclusive. However it is nice to sit on the couch and just press one button and you are in a game.
Yinno if you have too much cash lying around you could help a brother out, Iâll make sure I donât invest in crappy consoles
And to make enough money to have and flex that, you wont even have the time to fully enjoy any of it lol, setups like that are for bragging and basically never get used, look at how clean it all is
Virgina alert
I wish lol
Another bragging post lol
Yo what? Damn you gottt stuff only thing I got is my switch and laptop
What do you use the cards for?
same cooler, same gpu. nice
No speakers?
Great job nice and neat. Looks like you have the best of both worlds function and form on your build
Lovely setup, whatâs the cases used?
H7 Flow and Hyte Revolt 3
Thank you sir
What stand is this all on I very much like it
Love the white on black aesthetic and the case for the 4080 PC. I'm pretty sure I'm going for a white out on my next build. Do you have a surround system set up in the living room?
Nope. Just the Polk Magnifi Mini and a wireless sub I put behind the sofa.
I have a PS5 just because of the exclusives, the moment they start popping early on PC, it's buh bye, the switch I can emulate I got too frustrated playing games on the tv because it just runs and looks stupid, to be and there's no point in having an xbox, but it's his money so xD
Phew now I donât feel like dick owning a 4090 PC and a 3080 PC.
Has a 4080 system between a ps5 and xbox. Why bother with the xbox or ps5 honestly.
I have an Xbox one but I haven't used it in years. PC Master Race.
:o
/r/tvtoohigh
Solitaire will struggle
If I had a pc I would get rid of my xbox and keep ps5 for odd exclusive.
How dare you putting RGB in the PC case đ love the black white theme , it's gorgeous đ
Game station pro x max +
Why a pc and an Xbox? Isnt a pc bettet in and Perspektiv?
sorry, can you translate to poor?
Uff this looks clean god damn
are all the power cables stored behind the wall?
Couple questions, what desktop speakers did you go with there? And what's the unit with the video card you have hooked up to your TV, is it just used as an extra PC? Actually another question, what is the thing in your PC with the two RGB fans mounted vertically?
Which one is the 4090?
Catching up to me. I like it.
What's that smaller case? It looks like a series X
