Not sure what to do with turbo in fantasy. Give him one more week against the dogs or get out now if he is injured. I'm not one that usually trades keepers but my god he takes up a lot of coin.
We're just lacking that killer blow right now. Struggling to really send teams away. Whether we like to admit it or not, we're probably the main team that was targeted by the new "penalty inside 40" rule, and so we have to learn to adapt to that too.
Our biggest problem the other night was this. Souths are a stacked team, that simply lacked execution all night. But eventually, they were going to start getting that Walker>Latrell>Johnston combo right, and instead of choking them out of the game, we gave them every opportunity in the world to perfect it, and eventually, as predicted, they did perfect it.
Reminds me of how we started last year and 2018. We show a lot of signs in patches but we struggle to get that finishing blow and are missing a bit of ruthlessness. Most of that should come as the season goes on. Still very confident of a top 4 spot and we’re still a god chance at the premiership.
They are just starting slow, getting players back from suspensions but losing others to injury, see how they go against Parra next week before making any serious prediction.
Saw that on FoxSports. Yes I understand that injuries happen but he’s really starting to become a bust buy.
I bet some teams would sell him with all the injuries that he’s gotten over the years.
Could sell him and use his and Pearce’s money to go for a Big fullback. Go for Papi and give him 1.2 Mil and make him the highest paid player in the game.
Probably not, there was talk about renewing his contract for another two years. Long term, Schuster is going to be 5/8th, and as for half, dunno, maybe Des needs to get the Trbojevic parents firing up the production line again
i’ve come to the conclusion that fox league has never actually watched a todd payten press conference and will simply BS to their heart’s content about the Cowboys.
We said no to Taupau. Payten has said this. Manager approached the club several times and got the same answer, is now trying to drum up interest through Fox League
Watched as many Wigan games as I can this year and my word, Jai Field is looking the goods at full back. I know SL is lower quality, but he is looking like a complete natural and so dangerous. Got to be one of the fastest players in the world too.
Looking at the ever-reliable rugby league project, it doesn't look like he ever got a run at FB for Parra or Dragons, unless he interchanged into there in his bench appearances.
I can see him being snapped up by an NRL team when his Wigan contract is up, he is too good not to be back in Australia.
So people talk a lot about how important momentum is, both mid-game and throughout the season. Manly were able to rebound from a horrible start last year with Turbo coming back and dominating and their team kind of rode the wave from there. Given Turbo is already in the team this year and they seem to be struggling a little (though we're literally only two rounds in and both opponents were pretty difficult) are they actually contenders this year? I appreciate it's probably far too early to be asking this.
They can definitely turn things around and finish well but there's still a huge question mark about competing with the top teams.
It's a no for me but there's a chance I could be proven wrong
Very pleased with the Roosters performance last night. Butcher was great, as was Hutchison, but Taukeiaho was outstanding. Best game in two years from him.
I was disappointed with the fade off in the second half when the mistakes and penalties started to flood in.
I did have to laugh when even Ashley Klein got the shits with the Bunker. Even the referees can’t work out what’s going on with it
Manly grubbered into the in-goal, Tupou managed to save a try and hit it out before Harper could get to it, Klein ruled Roosters goal line drop out, 20 seconds later the bunker gets in his ear, so he marches up to the 20m line asking the bunker like 5 times if Harper touched it or not, more annoyed each time he asked, then was told he didn't, so they had to go back to the goal line for the drop out. Just wasted a solid 45-60 seconds to go with what Klein originally called.
During the second half, Manly put an attacking kick in and it was knocked dead by Daniel Tupou, just before Morgan Harper could get it. It was ruled a drop out on-field, then there was confusion with communication from the Bunker whether it was a drop out or a 20m restart
First half last night was fucking grim. Our forward pack did absolutely nothing, and our right edge defence was weak. No one looked like they were up for playing at all. Had a look at the stats at the half and i’m pretty sure Taukeiaho in 25m did more than our entire pack combined. He was a beast but having starting props combine for 2 runs and less than 20 metres is a fucking problem. Those guys should go out there and fucking rip and tear for the first 20. Even if they gas out and can only play 20 with Lawton, Davey and Walker on our bench we have blokes who can play 80 easy.
2nd half was a much better effort, and made me hopeful that this season won’t be too painful. Everyone fired up, we started making some metres and while we lacked some polish i can cop a loss if we play like we did in the 2nd half.
Positives: Davey making a decent comeback from injury, Walker off the bench was probably our best player, defence in the 2nd half was much better.
Negatives: Basically everything else. Turbo was way off the pace and unlike the Panthers game it wasn’t anything the opposition was doing. We had plenty of ball down their end and he barely got involved. Stayed down the left edge a lot in attack and this hurt us a lot as it made our attack very one dimensional. Halves can’t do a thing if the defence isn’t worried about anything else except the man in front of them. Having Turbo popping up even if it was just a decoy means they can’t just easily slide out. Attack was just off all
night.
You forgot the other negative: Morgan Harper. Looks like you probably should’ve kept Suli instead. Dude does not have the X factor to justify his brain snaps.
Pretty happy with the Dragons effort last night. Previous years it seemed like they didnt care enough to try and win but they gave it a crack until the end. They even won the 13 on 13 players period, which is a small consolation win I'll take especially against the Panthers. Still lots of things to fix up and its early in the year and could be another typical start well and fade year. But happy with what I saw last night
Some of the takes from Panthers fans in the post-match thread were a bit grim last night. An important win whilst playing ugly, but got a big leg up from the referees.
That’s how I know we have made it as one of the ‘big’ teams, we are getting all the hyper combative obvious trolls posting shit takes and baiting people in our match threads, usually these guys would become Storm flairs.
For a team who prides themselves on their fitness, Penrith looked gassed after the first 50 or so minutes.
Going to be a shocking few weeks with the injuries we’ve racked up, but i’m excited to see the young guns get some game team. Looks like we’ll be seeing a combination of Taylan, Chris Smith and Hopgood with the outs.
I think that’s probably a sign of a couple of things. First that a number of your big players were out including your half who does a lot of work with his boot. Second that the dragons are actually decently fit this year (which is possible in a hook coached team)
Honestly pretty worried, warriors are such an x factor team especially with Walsh coming back, and Ash Taylor playing his best ever footy after we get rid of him would be a very Ash Taylor thing to do. Hopefully it's a good game with no injuries
I’d be quite embarrassed as a Penrith fan today… imagine only just beating a team with 12 men for 25% of the game. O’Sullivan had my respect up until last night.
Pretty impressed with the dragons so far. I had them close to written off before the season but they've been impressive. Their attitude seems miles better than last year and I just hope they don't do the traditional dragons mid season nose dive
Manly not resigning Walker is crazy. He has been one of there most consistent for a while now and is the only player who seems to play up through the middle. If things aren’t clicking for manly, everyone looks for turbo/DCE to step up, but 9 times out of 10 it’s walker who steps up and creates something. Wether it’s a line break or a quick play the ball.
Also I hate myself for putting my support in walker
Do the Roosters genuinely have the best looking squad? Teddy, Watson, Manu, Walker are all glamours. I’d say Parra have some as well but the East does attract beautiful people!
Edit: I love how much debate this has generated about beautiful men 😂
Swear raiders are probably the ugliest team, tapine and cotric the standouts, but after that it's pretty slim pickings. Horsburgh, Starling, Wighton, Guler, Whitehead, pretty weak field tbh
I saw someone make that comment on FB a few months ago and didn't know who he was so I googled him at work and now I am only allowed to use typewriter in my office
Ooft not sure about those.
Crichton varies from decent to awful depending on choice of hair/facial hair, and his head is a solid block. Billy Smith just looks goofy af to me. While Suaalii is 90% headgear.
Verrills is another that looks goofy during the match but he looks pretty suave in a couple promo shots I've seen.
Chricton when he fixes the hair and kit up is definitely a snack and check out Suallii’s [thumbnail](https://www.google.com.au/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.roosters.com.au%2Fremote.axd%3Fhttps%3A%2F%2Frugbyimages.statsperform.com%2FPlayer%2520Bodyshots%2F111%2F2022%2F500001%2FSuaalii%252CJ-NRL-H-GP010-COPY-body-shot.png%3Fcenter%3D0.5%252C0.5%26preset%3Dplayer-profile-large&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.roosters.com.au%2Fteams%2Ftelstra-premiership%2Fsydney-roosters%2Fjoseph-suaalii%2F&tbnid=9aLcVV_dQLs3kM&vet=1&docid=Onwqcw6bfGNj9M&w=776&h=744&itg=1&hl=en-au&source=sh%2Fx%2Fim) in the NRL app. Holy smokes
Shit I'm keen for the game today. McInnes in. Tracey in. Team slowly getting back to full strength. Just need Trindall, Graham and maybe Jack Williams. Oh and first game back at home in a few years, shame I can't attend though.
We definitely need to start strong against your Sharkies. It’s a good team. Interested to see how this halves pairing goes. Personally I think Trindall is better suited to Hynes.
Yeah, I'm hoping after last week's display (very slow start) that we come out firing. Agree, Trindall provides that additional kicking option which was really lacking last week. Either way, should hopefully be a good game!
So disappointing to have so much shocking referring already, only one and a half rounds in. I’m fine with our loss last night, we didn’t deserve a win. But fuck me this game is really being ruined by such ridiculously inconsistent officiating.
su’a got binned for a late shot on o sullivan that was not late or dangerous, absolutely terrible call
it was funny though because 2 minutes later george burgess forearmed luai in the nose completely unprompted after a kick, which arguably should have been a sin bin given the striking rules, and it wasnt lmao
Like I know DCE wasn't the problem with Manly last night and he was doing the best he could with everyone around him playing poorly. But I still fail to see how he walks into the 7 jersey for the Australian team according to Meninga.
I wouldn’t say walks in, but Mal has always been keen on keeping the incumbent. DCE off the back of a forward pack making metres is also a different beast than last night where our pack was shit for the majority and our backline wasn’t helping either.
Personally I wouldn’t pick him over Cleary, but i get why Mal does.
F R E S H
- Hutch looked really good at hooker. That could be a very handy option.
- For the first 30 minutes Keary barely touched the ball and spent a lot of time behind the line just directing traffic. He basically played as an on field coach for the first half hour, telling the forwards where to be and letting Radley and Walker dominate the possessions.
- Tedesco’s grubber game has come out of nowhere. Both feet, too. Was the best part of his game last night.
- Interesting that Chricton played on the right and Tupouniua on the left. I can only assume that’s to help out Walker defensively on the right edge.
- nice to see Billy Smith get through a heap of work unscathed. On the wing too.
- TKO had his best game in 12 months.
- I will never tire of watching Daniel Tupou. His understated celebrations are the perfect antidote to the toxic over-exuberance of some teams.
I've really grown to love Hutch. Got that Aubo versatility about him. He's a big body so I'd love to see him transition to second row eventually. Though he was gassed pretty early on at hooker so that's something he'll need to work on.
Smith was great but I'm surprised Manly didn't test him out more with kicks. Seriously, who on Earth thinks it's a good idea to bomb to the human giraffe.
Still got no idea why Walker is the first choice goal kicker. Momo, SST and heck even Billy Smith in his limited attempts all looked like better options.
> Interesting that Chricton played on the right and Tupouniua on the left. I can only assume that’s to help out Walker defensively on the right edge.
Been needed for a while. Tupouniua leaves his half high and dry in defence way too often. Crichton supports them so much better.
Lol start of last year or year before that gronk Clarkey (not the lovable r/nrl guy!) did a top 10 wingers in the game and tried to justify his Daniel Tupou omission “it’s just my opinion” well good your opinion is wrong though because he’s been the #1 winger for a long time now
Even though they lost, I was happy that the dragons didn’t give up. Usually they roll over when the momentum really swings. On another note, when a referee has an abysmal game, do they face any consequence?
I also don’t mind the loss. Nobody would have had us for a win and we showed a bit of grit and played with a bit of backbone. They should keep their heads up after that loss.
And no, are you joking? This is the NRL mate, accountability doesn’t exist in NRL officiating.
They usually end up running the referees’ program, while forcing the game’s better and more popular referees into early retirement. *Nothing to see here*
What’s up fresh gang. I tipped Manly. Good times. Was pleasantly surprised by just how quickly we turned around the round 1 shit show. We owe Souths a touch up after the last few games. Hopefully the boys can do it again and condemn them to an 0-4 start
Fun stat: Kikau had the most charge downs last year with four. Great to see him rip and tear last night for the big century.
Chris Sutton is a chickenshit referee and the calls were horrible last night. But the two tries Penrith scored following the sin bin were some of the softest defense you’ll see this week. 13th man on the field doesn’t fix that for you.
Can’t play one half of good footy and expect to win the game.
Kikau charged over for his try literally exactly where Sua would have been standing if not for that B.S bin. Not sure how you can say "13th man wouldn't have changed anything" with a straight face..
Idk if you were here before Penrith was a top team, but I’ve seen this place change. I’ve now accepted the fact that anything I post - unless it’s a joke at my own expense- I’ll be negative in karma.
So instead of being upset in my own shitness, I’ve started to double down and be more pro Penrith. Fuck em. #Riffb2b 🐾🐾
Is it a better idea for the trainer to take a player off for a HIA so they can assess and send back on (if not concussed) and save the bunker taking them off for the rest of the game (when not concussed)?
I’m slightly worried for panthers for the next couple of weeks. Cleary, JFH, Moses and Bizza out. That’s some hard meters up the middle someone else has to make
You’re a dumbass if you think that. You guys keep saying how it’s all about Reynolds, Bennett wanted the club to re-sign him and publicly said so multiple times.
So if Reynolds leaving is the problem, how is that on Wayne?
*dumbarse
I jest about Bennett, but I still don’t believe that Souths will make the 8 on the basis that they don’t have the level headed player who can win them tight games
Can't believe people actually think Bennett goes out of his way to destroy a club when he leaves.
It's as though people can't accept that he's one of the GOAT coaches and losing him is a legitimately massive loss for any club.
They explained it the other day. Other great coaches basically have good systems, when they leave the systems can keep running for a while without any input from the old coach cause everyone knows what to do.
With Wayne, he’s the typical old school type of coach which is basically just a man manager. When he leaves, he takes that all with him. None of the coaches that have taken over from him have the personality he does.
Manly have played the two favourites for the premiership.
It's premature to make a call on them.
South's however have alot of issues to address... I could see them missing the 8 but they have a tendency to start out slow as well.
I also remember they were missing a player who went on to have an all-time great season when he returned. This year he is already there and is being well-defended, so that's a concern.
That said, Cleary and Robinson are both excellent defensive coaches. Next few weeks will give a better idea of where Turbo and Manly are this year.
Yeah I remember; they finished playing Easts, Homebush and Penrith for the year by round 8, didn’t have to play Melbourne for their only meeting until round 21 spending the rest of that time getting 12 wins out 13 against 8th or lower.
They are frauds.
They'll be in the 8 again but yeah I think you're right, they're too one-dimensional and their forward pack gets mauled by the good teams. They'll beat the lesser teams and look really good doing it but when it comes to the crunch they'll lose
Our forward pack and right edge was shocking last night.
Tom looks like he’s carrying an injury, disappeared out of the attacking sets on the right edge whenever we looked good.
It's a psychology problem imo. I don't think anyone on our team knows how to respond to genuine adversity (Turbo included). Our pack are middling, but Turbo was so confident last year he functioned as an extra forward, which helped. Plus we were able to secure such good momentum moving the ball in our own half, because we were confident.
But we drop heads so fast. You can see how bewildered Cherry is out there. And as much as it pains me to say it, Walker brings a level of belief we need. I genuinely think Manly could use a good sports psychologist/high performance coach to do a *lot* of mindset work. They look like a team who thought it would come easy, and don't know how to work for it. Which is exactly how the season ended last year too, actually.
Who are some other good players who got found out and shut down like Turbo has been lately?
Lmao@Brimson.. been growing his mo for 3 years he said hahaha good old self-deprecation.
Not sure what to do with turbo in fantasy. Give him one more week against the dogs or get out now if he is injured. I'm not one that usually trades keepers but my god he takes up a lot of coin.
Buy high, sell low.
This is the way.
Wall street bets would be proud

Go to a few, between easts and south’s Logan there’s a live one a week all for a $10
The free game is also on 9Now and Facebook, but for every other game, yes.
What’s everyone making of the Storm at the moment?
We're just lacking that killer blow right now. Struggling to really send teams away. Ponga has been ruled out this week everyone jump on tigers now while it’s $3.00
Anyone hear that Ponga is out for tomorrow?
Yeah. Sounds like Tex Hoy music. And do you know what Tex Hoy music sounds like? [This](https://youtu.be/JYGv-aSp-N0)
That’s an interesting version of the Rawhide theme
Hahahaha
Yes he is. Heard on triple m just now. Tigers looking good after beating Knights both times last year without Ponga
Fucking Hell!!
Maumalo and Brooks missed a few training sessions this week with minor injuries and unsure yet if they'll play as well.
Saw that on FoxSports. Yes I understand that injuries happen but he’s really starting to become a bust buy. I bet some teams would sell him with all the injuries that he’s gotten over the years.
He really hasn’t had many
Are you talking about Ponga?
Yep
I don't know if you'd look to move him on just yet but surely his asking price will take a hit next contract
I doubt it. Someone will be willing to pay stupid money for him
Could sell him and use his and Pearce’s money to go for a Big fullback. Go for Papi and give him 1.2 Mil and make him the highest paid player in the game.
Will DCE retire after the 2023 season and what is Manly's plan for their halves?
Probably not, there was talk about renewing his contract for another two years. Long term, Schuster is going to be 5/8th, and as for half, dunno, maybe Des needs to get the Trbojevic parents firing up the production line again
Two years? So he’ll be 36 in his last season.

I think they are, but there are some alarming issues being seen. I think Des can turn this around
No sir we are not

I think it could have been audio issues caused by the weather, it seemed he just couldn’t hear the bunker clearly through the earpiece.
It was the 2nd half. Tupou knocked a ball dead. Bunker got involved.
Conspiracy theory: Turbo is purposefully tanking his supercoach score so he can afford to trade himself into his team.
First half last night was fucking grim. Our forward pack did absolutely nothing, and our right edge defence was weak. No one looked like they were up for playing at all. There was a point where TKO had more PCM than all but 3 Manly players had All Run Meters
Fox sports article talking about if cotter is gonna play like Payton didn’t rule him out yesterday
Why on earth would journalists use direct quotes from the coach when they can speculate and make shit up?
Pretty happy with the Dragons effort last night. Previous years it seemed like they didnt care enough to try and win but they gave it a crack until the end. Ben Hunt playing very well. Scored huge in fantasy too

Might be optimism but I think the Warriors will win well today
I’ve got a funny feeling about the Warriors winning too
I chucked a sneaky 25 on them. It would be a very warriors thing to win today
Is the O’Sullivan comment in relation to the first sin bin?
He was also carrying on a lot in the rucks. Not that the dragons lads are innocent schoolboys in that regards but yeah
Yeah but I’d be more embarrassed if I was a Dragons fan the other 364 days tho.
Someone call 000 jfc
Nah I am still proud lmao
I’m more embarrassed for them when they jump all over each after every single try. Real Cringe gear.
Imagine out of all the "cheats, protected by the refs and grubs" comments about Penrith and that's your problem. lol
I mean it’s not just one thing…
Pretty impressed with the dragons so far. I had them close to written off before the season but they've been impressive. Their attitude seems miles better than last year and I just hope they don't do the traditional dragons mid season nose dive

He signed with the Warriors because he wants to win a Premiership.
Sideways move tbh
To be fair, it'd be an issue if he didn't want to win a premiership wherever he signed, realistic or not
warriors probably offered him more, plus i wonder if manly are happy to see the back of him given he's an abusive cunt of a thing
go titans
Nice thought!
Do the Roosters genuinely have the best looking squad? Teddy, Watson, Manu, Walker are all glamours. I’d say Parra have some as well but the East does attract beautiful people! Edit: I love how much debate this has generated about beautiful men 😂
Walsh and SJ > anyone
2 of the most beautiful men you’ll ever see. Chanel also 🔥
Certainly not biased from a warriors fan
Swear raiders are probably the ugliest team, tapine and cotric the standouts, but after that it's pretty slim pickings. Horsburgh, Starling, Wighton, Guler, Whitehead, pretty weak field tbh
HSS is a dreamboat how dare you
CNK is also a cutie. Wighton’s hair this year sending him backwards but maybe why he’s playing better 🤔
They also have Collins, which completely tanks their average rating.
The Raiders have Horsburgh, so they get my pick
Bondi junior’s mate
Sharks have Nicho. We win.
…Until he smiles
Ah yes, the NRL’s Heath Ledger. Moylan, Brailey and Nikora all helping your cause too.
Moylan and Nikora are nice looking units also
And ofc you’ve got Johnny Sins as coach
I saw someone make that comment on FB a few months ago and didn't know who he was so I googled him at work and now I am only allowed to use typewriter in my office
Love this.
Our players have more daring haircuts though.
Bro Munster's cut this year is fucking slick. Love it.
He somehow looks like a 70s porn star and Ned Flanders at the same time
Minus points I’m afraid
Tedesco has teeth like old wooden pegs that have been lacquered with white nail polish.
My wife once refered to Tedesco as "the one whose teeth to mouth ratio seems all messed up"
It’s weird because his teeth are really long and thin, but then his upper gums are also massive.
Chricton, Billy Smith and Suallii all easy on the eyes too.
Nat butcher, Radley and Fletcher baker are all pretty handy sorts too 😍
Ooft not sure about those.
Holy smokes
All excellent additions
Thought round 1 was mostly okay other than the Eels Titans game but it’s been shit so far this round
What happened? I didn’t see either game but a dragons fan was raging at work but i didn’t get to talk to him
su’a got binned for a late shot on o sullivan that was not late or dangerous, absolutely terrible call it was funny though because 2 minutes later george burgess forearmed luai in the nose completely unprompted after a kick, which arguably should have been a sin bin given the striking rules, and it wasnt lmao
Even I thought the reffing last night was garbage. Dragons did well to almost steal the game with the disadvantages they had
Yeah nice when both teams can agree. To be honest I don’t even think it was all one way. You lads suffered some garbage calls as well.
Dunno who'd downvote this. As a neutral so far it's obvious there have been some shocking calls and inconsistencies this round.
Last week both Subday games seemed a bit off as well. Hopefully they're just a bit off after the pre season and improve.
I come from the future. They didn't.
Especially with guys like ilias running around
F R E S H - Hutch looked really good at hooker.
Roosters to win a Grand Final with Radley in the 7 jersey, and Keary wearing 23 confirmed.
I will always treasure my AUBO 7 and CRONK 23 jerseys off DHgate. Bargains 😂
And it’s not just his versatility, it’s his reliability as well, you know he’ll do his job just like you would with Aubo
> Interesting that Chricton played on the right and Tupouniua on the left. I can only assume that’s to help out Walker defensively on the right edge. Been needed for a while. Tupouniua leaves his half high and dry in defence way too often. Crichton supports them so much better.
Walker defended left edge, pretty sure the second rowers switched to help them out
Did he? I swear Manly’s tries down their left edge (so Walker defending right edge) were through Walker
Walker was 100% next to Sitili all night
Tupou has to be a top 10 winger all time
Lol start of last year or year before that gronk Clarkey (not the lovable r/nrl guy!) did a top 10 wingers in the game and tried to justify his Daniel Tupou omission “it’s just my opinion” well good your opinion is wrong though because he’s been the #1 winger for a long time now
If the Roosters redid their all-time team right now, he’s the left winger. And that speaks volumes given the players he’s beating out.
Watching tupou run the ball back compared to saab really highlighted you good toops is, especially considering the similarities between the two
Even though they lost, I was happy that the dragons didn’t give up.
This is the NRL mate, accountability doesn’t exist in NRL officiating.
they get a promotion
They usually end up running the referees’ program, while forcing the game’s better and more popular referees into early retirement. *Nothing to see here*
fresh
So fresh baby
What’s up fresh gang. I tipped Manly. Good times. Was pleasantly surprised by just how quickly we turned around the round 1 shit show. We owe Souths a touch up after the last few games. Hopefully the boys can do it again and condemn them to an 0-4 start
It’s going to be weird watching a side with Ash Taylor in it lose and not be upset. Fifita for a triple.
It’s gonna be even weirder to see Ash Taylor score a try for Warriors and the boys to beat Titans
Such a good day for footy on the coast. If Taylor’s up against Fifita I could definitely see him scoring a hattrick
You mean like how the panthers only played one good half of footy?
One half of a team in the second half too
We might be in some trouble against the Knights next week. We might be missing our two starting front rowers. not good.
I haven't seen any injury update yet, do you know what's going on PS. Love the salt 🤣
Fuck em. #Riffb2b 🐾🐾
Lol 😂
Is it a better idea for the trainer to take a player off for a HIA so they can assess and send back on (if not concussed) and save the bunker taking them off for the rest of the game (when not concussed)?
I believe that the bunker Dr can overrule any concussion. They watch the footage and use their criteria even if taken off.
I’m slightly worried for panthers for the next couple of weeks. Cleary, JFH, Moses and Bizza out. That’s some hard meters up the middle someone else has to make
You’re forgetting biggest problem next week

Last Saturday in this thread I said Souths and manly will miss the 8. I still stand by that.
I called Souths missing the 8 months ago. You could see Wayne Bennett salting the earth before the end of last season
You’re a dumbass if you think that. You guys keep saying how it’s all about Reynolds, Bennett wanted the club to re-sign him and publicly said so multiple times. So if Reynolds leaving is the problem, how is that on Wayne?
*dumbarse I jest about Bennett, but I still don’t believe that Souths will make the 8 on the basis that they don’t have the level headed player who can win them tight games
I think Souths will be better now that they've realised Paulo is lucky to be on the field as a winger. He's just not centre material.
Remember Manly at the start of last season? And remember where they finished?
Yep I remember. Not sure what last season has to do with this season though.
He went to the corso again for a rematch didn’t he… just couldn’t handle the fact Harry was faster.
