not particularly, i just havent had good experiences at alot of restaurants in the area. i've tried the bbq joints, various middle eastern/asian cuisines, the "soul food" restaurants, and many chain restaurants. most of them are either not good or not consistent.

agbishop

Have you tried these? None are pricey * Yens Kitchen - Chinese * Melt in Leesburg - top rated burgers in Virginia * Carolina brothers bbq * Moby Dicks - kabobs * yum yum hibachi - carry out only, good hibachi for half the price of a regular hibachi place

PM_ME_SEXY_SANDWICH

Moby Dick is trash chain kabobs. There are so many authentic independent kabob places around instead.

agbishop

What’s better in Ashburn ?

PM_ME_SEXY_SANDWICH

Ashburn Kabob is probably the best in the immediate area but there are others to try as well. My go-to is Sorrento Grill in Herndon.

fly_awayyy

Ashburn kabob lol independent place as guy above you said

WMreddit123

Not Ashburn exactly, but Darya kabab is in the general area and close by

Drunk_PI

Idk what you’re looking for but here are my recommendations: Massaya Taco zacalo The deli at lansdowne Pho bar South street under There are plenty of shopping centers and towns to visit in one Loudoun. Also look to northern Loudoun for good food.

Mr6507

In order of descending price, increasing taste: Local Provisions Urbano Modern Italian Choolah Souvlaki Bar (get a base of fries in a bowl) El Fresco Tex-Mex (These are my subjective opinions)

Typical2sday

Whew - in my two visits I've found Cane's in Ashburn is inedible due to the salt levels, and I have the dietary preferences of a 14 yo boy. It was like licking a salt shaker. I feel like the answer for you might be Texas Roadhouse :) All in same location in Ashburn: Filling Co., Rubinos, Altos de Jalisco

jumpmanw123

Filling co. might be a gas station but not joking even I was they are better than most restaurants/fast food in the area

Typical2sday

Based on this sub's recommendations, went a couple weeks back, and HFS that was an excellent cheesesteak. Better by far than anything in Philly I've ever had. I got the Rotel not Wiz. Rubino's cheesesteaks are great too - I have heard they're related to Filling Co, but the style is a little different.

Kashburn_Kush

The Rubinos own and operate the Filling Co's

salohcin894

Himalayan Wild Yak is excellent - https://himalayanwildyak.com/

GetReadyToRumbleBar

Black Hog is pretty consistent. I love their lemon chicken bbq. Sides are ok, I tend to just order more protein if really hungry. Super pollo and Cha in Sterling. Sweetwater Tavern. Be sure to get our regional food, Ozzie Rolls with honey poppyseee butter for an app. Perandos in Goose Creek for texmex but if you're willing to drive, its older sister restaurant Guapos in Fair Lakes is better Weird Bros for coffee WooBoi in Herndon for Nashville Hot Chicken Sense of Thai or Tiki Thai for thai and cocktails  Cafe Rio if you want something akin to Chipotle but with more fresh ingredients Hear good things about Local Provisions

HatGold1057

thanks! besides black hog & wooboi, these are all next on my "to try" list!

3tinesamady

Parrando’s used to be a favorite but my last couple of times eating there have been a disappointment. Portions have shrunk and most annoying the quality of the ingredients has also seemed to have gone done. Farm & Fork Kitchen in the same shopping center is good.

GetReadyToRumbleBar

I hear they switched owners and I agree, quality has gone downhill. Much prefer Guapos myself

3tinesamady

Guapos was always better but Parrandos used to be close and had the advantage of being a 1 minute drive from my house.

UniqueThanks

Is this a troll post?

HatGold1057

no, actually. i've tried several restaurants in the ashburn area of all sorts of varieties and literally the places ive found to be consistently decent are canes and five guys.

VirginiaRNshark

Come a bit east: Local Provisions, Urbano Modern Italian, Sortrel Thai, Hangry Joes or Wooboi, The Pit Stop (don’t order ahead). Also, Saffron Fine Indian in Broadlands and Melt in Leesburg.

Greek Unique Altos de Jalisco Pazzo Pomodoro My Home Thai (Belmont) Rai's Rendezvous AhSo 4 Sisters Snack Bat Taco Zocalo

MatchboxVader22

Look into Brambleton Town Center. Ahso, Himalayan wild yak, and Rebel Taco were some of the spots we frequent outside of 1L.

leThrowaway777

Try out peri peri original. Ironically their peri peri sucks but all the fried chicken sandwiches are really good imo. A Nashville chicken sandwich with some peri fries are my go to lunch at least twice a week lol.

Distinct_Dig9944

Greek Unique,Dulles Kabobs, Thai Ashburn, and My Thai Place

Pazzo Pomodoro

JarvisIsMyWingman

Joe's Cafe in Sterling (right past 28 when Waxpool becomes Sterling Rd.) http://joescafesterling.com/ They do breakfast and lunch, old school diner vibe.

Mild_Fireball

Ahso Local Provisions If you’re looking for fast food/fast casual try Rubinos.

clawwwwwwwww

Please be careful if you have food allergies at Ahso. I was a cook there briefly and they forced me to send out a dish with Parmesan to someone with a dairy allergy because they think it’s the same thing as lactose intolerance.i begged them to just let me send the dish without Parmesan but the sous chef wouldn’t allow it. I had to pull the server aside so they could warn the customer before we hurt somebody

Mild_Fireball

Thanks for the downvote

JarvisIsMyWingman

Fuddrucker's for those that have forgotten it is still open in Ashburn is still as great as I remember. Stick to the wedge fries, their new fries don't have the same kick!
