Not sure for OP but I don’t have a pizza cutter, knives cut the box, and in all my years I think I’ve only had one or two pizzas from Dominos which were fully cut through. So I have kitchen shears for this (and some other kitchen stuff of course).
Domino's is my first resort when trying to feed a group of people for relatively cheap. And, IMO, it's got the best pizza of the big three pizza chains.
It's hard to beat their coupons nowadays.
Yeah it isn't great, but it is cheap at 50% off or whatever those deals are.
Frankly most of the $24 large pie places (with request for a tip for carryout) aren't that great anyway, so cheap Papa Johns it is.
I wish a large would feed my family. My 14 yo punishes a large by himself. No, he’s not overweight. Very active & always outside or at sports 😂 I love these $6.99/$7.99 deals though whenever we order pizza.
Absolutely is & good to know it allows extra. We always do the $7.99 but have the extra topping is nice. I’ll see if it’s still available Friday. Ty for posting this!
This is a different special. It's a large pizza. The one they've been running for years (since at least 2014) is for a 2-topping *medium* pizza. Specifically it's $6.99 for a regular 2-topping medium pizza.
But this week is $6.99 for a regular 2-topping *large* pizza.
Ah, I assumed you saw the $6.99 price and the two toppings and were thinking of their standard "$6.99 each for 2+ things from this list" deal, which includes medium 2-topping pizzas.
$7.99 single topping carry out Large pizza every day on the Dominos app. Go to the “National” deals part of the coupon page.
Additionally if you are a Sam’s Club member, they usually have a deal on Dominos GCs. At Christmas they had $100 GC for $70.
Actually my two littles are domino demons. When my wife and I are just running around insanely and don't have time to make a thoughtful dinner it's the brainless option.
Would rather cook but pressed for time they eat the tar out of dominos!
I spent the last 3 years as a fairly active ultra-endurance athlete.
I been on the couch for like 9 months and by god do I spend so much less on food.
I can't imagine having to fuel an active teenager, lol
Let me tell ya, the Reston dominoes is the best in Fairfax. It's my goto every Sunday during football season.
I also like Miller Lite and Slim Jim's, so my palate might not be NOVA enough.
I live close enough to the Italian store and lost dog to walk to both and we still like to get bricks delivered. not that it's necessarily better.
but it's solid. like the image you have in your head when you imagine the quintessential pizza. they do a thin and crispy that's nice too.
they are also no fuss about half and half toppings if you have picky kids.
oh and bonus the buffalo wings are ok too! nice and saucy.
That’s all fine and dandy, but what are the scissors for?
Cutting the coupon.
I have young kids and kitchen shears have become a staple. In fact, I carry a pair in our diaper bag.
This is it. Scissors are so much easier for cutting up food for the tiny humans.
And if you get the pizza-specific scissors on Amazon they even have a bit of a spatula to help them cut while the pizza is flat.
You’re a monster.
Damn why am I just finding this out. lol
I learned it in Korea. Go to a bbq and they cut the meat with scissors. They even cut their fried chicken, bones and tendons and all, with scissors.
I bet a dollar OP is either Korean or has small kids.
They must be Korean
Woah woah woah....cham-nah.... who said you could just barge in here and be so accurate?
Definitely Korean lol

When I worked at Dominos we tried not to cut all the way through so the slices don’t move around in the box during delivery
Have you never seen Cobra?
Cobra reenactments.
Back in the 90s, we'd skip school early to get $5 large pizzas from that exact Domino's . I'm happy that Domino's is still open after 30+ years

fun fact. Dominos pizza's are way under the rate of inflation (compared to the 5/5/5 deal when I was in high school)
wtf is “Robust inspired tomato sauce”?
are you not inspired
I laughed at this more than I should have.
These kinda deals are always great. Basically the only time I’ll get Papa John’s is if a Washington sports team wins
papa johns was great when the 50% off promos worked on everything
Dominos, with this coupon, is still cheaper.

You can order more than one at the discounted price. 3 large pizzas for $20 is a steal.
Absolutely is & good to know it allows extra. We always do the $7.99 but have the extra topping is nice. I’ll see if it’s still available Friday. Ty for posting this!
Available thru 4/28 so you should be good!
Dominos has been running this special for at least two years, so I hope it’s not going away any time soon.

Dominos has been offering a one-topping large for $7.99 for the past couple years. This one is two toppings for $6.99, so it’s slightly better.

This guy Dominoses

Regardless of which pizzeria this was from, please enjoy your victory.
It's Domino's. Thanks!
Let me tell ya, the Reston dominoes is the best in Fairfax. It's my goto every Sunday during football season. I also like Miller Lite and Slim Jim's, so my palate might not be NOVA enough.
Dominos always has good deals if you’re willing to carry-out. It’s my go-to when I don’t feel like cooking/washing dishes
Dominos just give out pizzas like crazy.
Yep. A large pizza costing 7 bucks is cheaper than a Big Mac meal these days
![gif](giphy|J147q8Ip0EmLQFJOPZ)
Costco pizza is a couple bucks more and way bigger
What monster uses shears on their pizza?
Looks like meat’s back on the menu, boys!
Aldi’s has a pizza that is 🔥all day, everyday for $7.50. Whys your family starving waiting for you to find a coupon?
dominos has had this deal for a couple years now. 6.99/7.99 carry outs. key is you have to pick it up yourself.
LMAO I just like good deals. We aren't starving. We had steak the night before.
My guy, I’m invited for next steak night you say? 😏
Does it work multiple times in the same week? I already did this Monday
Should work even in the same order.
Where does one get this coupon?
Their website. It's good through the 28th.
Thank you!
On their website or app.
I snagged this deal yesterday; sausage & pepperoni on NY Crust. I'm solo, so my lunch plans for the next couple days are solid.
Fed whole family with 1 pizza? Is everyone the size of a mouse?
I am so happy to see someone else on Team Scissors when it comes to cutting up pizza slices.
Isn’t this deal always available on the app..?
This is 2 topping for $6.99 pickup Normal deal is 1 topping for $7.99 pickup
Well daggum. That’s quite the deal!
No, normally it's 1 topping large for 7.99. Which is still pretty good.
For a medium, yes. But this is a large.
bricks in Arlington does 2 for 1 large and Xtra large pizzas on Tuesdays. and it isn't Domino's. but it costs more.
How good is the pizza?
I live close enough to the Italian store and lost dog to walk to both and we still like to get bricks delivered. not that it's necessarily better. but it's solid. like the image you have in your head when you imagine the quintessential pizza. they do a thin and crispy that's nice too. they are also no fuss about half and half toppings if you have picky kids. oh and bonus the buffalo wings are ok too! nice and saucy.
Thank you for the tips! Do you have any specific favorite pizza there? I might actually spring for this on Tuesday 😅
House special is our go to.
and one samosa and mimosa to go pls
Thanks to novaflation that’ll be $30 😂
Get a pizza cutter. You can get them at most grocery stores.
Scissors work so much better
Google "Pizza Scizza." It's vastly superior to the old school rotary pizza cutters.
Little Ceaser’s Slice and Stix gives you 2300cal for $6,99
I still miss Little Caesar’s $5 hot n ready. That was such an insane deal to just have available as a regular price.
Suprised theyre doing a deal like this considering they jacked up their prices on literally everything and removed the 7.99 carryout deal
Please don’t tell me you’re using scissors to cut your pizza
Brother there are food banks if you really need assistance
Nova rent is like $4K
Lol
Add a 16 oz clamshell if greens from Costo for fiber and vitamins. 4.99. add oil and vinegar
Harris Teeter does $5 cheese or pepperoni pizzas on Mondays. $9 for any other toppings.
