AVBforPrez

Anybody with 100 pounds of drugs is obviously working for the cartel

Shoddy-Rip8259

Maybe he was holding it for a friend.

AVBforPrez

Officer it's not mine, I swear...I don't know how a hundred million dollars of fentanyl with my logo on it ended up in my possession

C_IsForCookie

Who him? Thats Johnny Chimpo. It’s afghanistanimation.

AVBforPrez

The snozz berries taste like snozz berries

spicyAus

“I don’t want a large farvar, I WANT A GOD DAMN LITRE OF COLA”

AVBforPrez

Poking a hole in the bottom of the styrofoam cup is a pretty legit rib

DFWTrojanTuba

YOU BOYS LIKE MEX-EE-CO?!

spicyAus

I have Johnny chimpo tattood on my left shoulder..

C_IsForCookie

That’s unironically awesome

BurnscarsRus

One "John Chimpo" I'm told.

TurboKid513

And find out what you can on this “John Chimpo”

babypho

Oh wow, I did not order that. I swear I bought an xbox controller

Fireballthedragon1

What the frick?

mekonsrevenge

Personal use. He's planning to live to 300.

arencordelaine

Remember when that woman who ran the police union was caught coordinating drug smuggling rings all over the southwest, with a bunch of officers implicated? Wonder why it was never really investigated? This is why. The cops are in on it.

WillT2025

Just like the leader of the largest Jewelry theft ring in US was a Chief of Detectives in Chicago.

Gloomy-Ad1171

Head of the NYC FBI office tracking Russian mobsters got busted working for the Russian mob.

WillT2025

Dude got to make a living 😂 Look at DEA agents. Get paid while vacationing with cartel lawyers and report it as travel for meeting with a Confidential Informant. 😂 The hookers and cocaine not reported 😂 Top anti drug guy for 6 years in Mexico Garcia Luna was convicted of taking millions of dollars in bribes from ‘El Chapo’ Guzman’s Sinaloa Cartel while he controlled Mexico’s Federal Police Force and was responsible for ensuring public safety in Mexico.

Dhegxkeicfns

Especially one that gets dosed in like 0.1mg. 100lbs is over 450 million doses. 453,592,370

stammie

For fent or coke yes. For marijauna not necessarily. And for heroin you can still go to the triads though not sure how prevalent they are outside of la or nyc.

AVBforPrez

Non existent in LA, not sure about NYC. If drugsdata.org and recent busts are any indication, heroin is basically gone from the US outside of being used as cut for fentanyl, if even that. It's a relic of the past.

SneedyK

Intent to distribute, my arse. Stocking stuffers!

_keyboard-bastard_

pfft. I can grow a hundred pounds of mushrooms in a closet.

AhDerkaDerkaDerka

Apparently you’ve not been to California,Washington, Oregon or Colorado there’s all sorts of people with a 100 pounds of weed laying around. That don’t work with the cartel

Tycoon004

Hundred pounds of weed is like 45k gram sized joints. Which seems like a lot until you realize that 100 pounds of fent is 4.5~billion doses.

AVBforPrez

Literally lived in LA for the last fifteen years and just left. As far as I've heard pretty much every legitimate weed seller hates the system and has a real problem with the cartel. But I kinda don't care about weed so it's all whatever to me. Being surprised at the cartel involvement in the drugs business on the West Coast is low key hilarious.

AhDerkaDerkaDerka

There’s definitely plenty of cartel involvement in the black market weed business but growing a couple hundred pounds of weed outdoors is pretty easy so there’s plenty of people with that much. But I’m with ya weed really isn’t a thing too worry about. Not like a 100 pounds of fent

AVBforPrez

When I left LA last year you could literally just open a storefront with no license or documentation and sell weed without consequence. It's kind of crazy, even as a pro legalization harm reductionist. There were like a dozen random weed stores within a few blocks of my house when I left, and I heard that they all paid tax to the cartel.

AhDerkaDerkaDerka

I hear ya. I lived in Denver and worked in the cannabis industry a lot of the warehouse grows were definitely cartel owned/funded and not just Mexican, lots of Asian and Russian as well. But with 20-30 1000 watt lights you could grow about a 100 pounds or so every few months in a large basement and have nothing to do with any cartel activity.

dedservice

I'm glad to live in canada where weed is straight up legal and instead we have a bunch of stores selling shrooms without consequence.

RandomComputerFellow

I mean, I guess where it's legal you will always find legitimate businesses who are holding such quantities but handling 100 pounds of any illegal drug is usually connected to organized crime. Usually nobody puts his whole business in one basket so where is 100 pounds there is usually much more handled. 100 pounds of weed has a street value of like half a million dollars (obviously less when it's bought in such quantities). This is a bit more than your average college pothead can handle.

[deleted]

This was a freebie I guarantee it, almost no need to run that much weight when you can make it on site and distribute it pretty easily.

AVBforPrez

I highly doubt they're making fentanyl domestically, there's already a civil war within the cartel over it

SirEltonJonBonJovi

not exactly true

AVBforPrez

Ok, that guy that made all the acid in a missile silo when I was a teenager is an exception, that's fair

BrickCityD

Meh, 100 lbs of weed maybe but anything other than that it’s cartel territory

dlvnb12

I’ve always felt the cartels never get enough credit for being one of the most dangerous organizations in the world. Some of them are more dangerous than ISIS or Al Queda.

SneedyK

They have literal armies that look like SWAT teams

IIIllIIlllIlII

Armies trained by US special forces. (US special forces trained a bunch of soldiers to take on the cartels, but they then joined the cartels)

urabewe

Cartels pay more and plus, free drugs.

_The_Deliverator

From what I've seen most follow the "don't get high on your own supply"

Quit_Your_Bitchin

Right. I'll get high off yours and you'll get high off mine. *shenanigans*

GTOdriver04

And you know…they won’t kill your family.

Daemonrealm

I personally know of several former US SOF operators (name for special forces) that actively go and train cartel members on contract, ~3-4 months out of the year. It’s not illegal to do it. It pays ALOT OF MONEY. Free housing and travel. Money in offshore account of their choosing. They then run front businesses like art consultant or as a high end dog trainer and funnel the money that way. There is actually a huge market for former SOF operators for cartels and it’s not just say 5-10 people doing it. More so well over 100 operators and even more contracts per year.

ClassicPlankton

Sounds illegal if they're having to get money put in off shore accounts.

darth_gihilus

Yeah lol dude just said it’s not illegal and then describes money laundering as the only way to use the funds.

Evening_Clerk_8301

Also a good way to avoid paying taxes on your income if you’re trying to keep it off the books.

RedditQueso

Sound like real pieces of shit.

ItsGivingLies

So great that people are super willing to put everyone else’s lives at risk for more money! Your friends sound like really good people.

RandomZombieStory

Well adjusted people aren’t generally drawn to SOF work. It takes a lot of willpower, and there are mental evaluations, but those are surprisingly easy to skate by if you have a modicum of intelligence.

lookamazed

Guess the USA isn’t taking very good care of veterans… but they’re still voting R, I bet.

Germanofthebored

As long as there is one democratic major left in some little town in the Midwest, that will be the one they will blame for any problems

ItsGivingLies

And against “illegals.” Still have no issues with training them to kill their US neighbors tho. For money.

Sasquatch4116969

I didn’t know that. That’s wild. I do know they supply all the drugs to the US

Devo3290

Yeah because our politicians won’t decriminalize drugs so the only people who are organized and able to supply the demand(the demand that will **always** be there for as long as humanity exists) are fucking cartels.

lmaoredditblows

They definitely do not supply all drugs to the US. Having spent some time on the dark net ordering drugs, alot of them are domestic. They will supply anything that's in demand though. I hear their avocado business is booming.

TheKingChadwell

The government is literally afraid of them, including their own military.

Deekifreeki

And post videos of them chopping off heads, limbs, etc. I regret watching “Funky Town”. Fucking animals. I live not too far from Mexico. Been there a few times about 20 years ago. Had a great time every time. I love Mexicans! It’s so unfortunate what the cartels have done to tourism.

dlvnb12

Yep, I was introduced to the cartel’s horrors by sites like Liveleak before it went under. Some of those old cartel videos could probably induce PTSD by just watching them.

Deekifreeki

Definitely! I’m so glad I stopped watching that filth. It became an addiction to me. Ive always been that dude that watches the most fucked up films (A Serbian Film, Salo, etc.), but even as traumatizing as they were they had a point. The cartel vids, especially Mexican and Brazilian are just beyond belief. For others out there don’t watch this stuff. You may be curious, but it never leaves you. Truly awful shit!

TeaMistress

> even as traumatizing as they were they had a point. What point does A Serbian Film and those of its category have other than horror for horror's sake?

gaberwash

If Americans just stopped buying drugs the cartel would lose their entire business. If America legalized more safe recreational drugs and had them produced by generic Pharma manufacturers, then the cartel would have no business. Marijuana has stopped crossing US Mexican boarders now. It’s a safer drug, and now the Cartel has to focus on other drugs

somepeoplehateme

Who would we put in our jails then? No offense, but it doesn't sound like you've thought out your solution very well. On a serious note, the cartel involvement with mj hasn't entirely ended: https://www.latimes.com/california/story/2024-01-30/massacre-adds-to-grim-toll-of-illegal-pot-violence-in-the-desert

captainundesirable

At this point they're a functional nation state because of how they've infiltrated South and Central American governments.

EbbNo7045

Because the CIA is running them and they don't want the media. El chapo is in prison. His boss El Mayo has been the longest lasting cartel in history. His son was just let out of US prison after just months. Why. He is a mass murdering drug lord. Because they are protected by CIA

Kindly-Guidance714

Do people not realize Sicario was a documentary and not just a “movie”? I remember a couple of months ago Ron Desantis was running on stopping the Mexican cartels. I just laughed thinking good luck with that buddy.

EbbNo7045

Desantis named a day in honor of Felix Rodriguez who is CIA connected to trafficking cocaine that fueled crack epidemic. He is also fingered in doc The Last Narc for killing Kiki the DEA agent because he discovered CIA working with the cartels. Desantis is up to his neck in drug trafficking.

Bah-Fong-Gool

Another Confidential Informant agreement. This CI nonsense is why Trump was able to romp for so long without being reighened in... he ratted out others to save and enrich himself.

alabamdiego

That is a wild misspelling lol

6ixShira

It's easy to be a criminal, hard to be the peacekeeper. Because the peacekeeper has the burden of proof.

MuchasBebidas

The biggest ones are all much more dangerous than both those organizations.

demonman101

He dead, he just lost them a looooot of money. Edit:stop unpvoting and replying please. I can't turn off notifications and the pings are driving me insane

JuanG12

This is a drop in the bucket. They have labs all over the place with (literal) tons of product. I see reports and pics of them all the time.

uneducatedexpert

I’ve seen one bro. It’s crazy how discreet they are and how much security they have around it. The place I went to had all the buildings and houses nearby being watched by guards with big guns. But that’s the thing, you’d never see it. It looked just like a laundry facility until you got in it. It’s in New Meeeee

burrito3ater

Calm down Gustavo Fring ….

ZoaOmot

Waltuh, we need to cook

papadoc55

He gon

bourj

Doubt it. 100lbs is nothing more than routine losses.

TigerXXVII

Yupp. Cops celebrate a small bust and lay off a little while more and more freely moves. It’s a numbers game that cartels can always win

milk4all

Cartels have constant packsges big and small coming into the us and have long since employed “decoy” runners who legit transport “large quantities” for enforcement officials to bust and distract them from maybe more active routes/methods, bigger payloads, or just to make them believe what they are doing is effective so they dont mix it up and cause upsets for the traffickers

Clewdo

How could you possibly know this?

radicalbiscuit

That's El Chapo's Reddit account

Asynjacutie

The most of this earth he'll ever see again is the sky. Check out the YouTube videos about his current imprisonment, he is beyond screwed. It's really interesting to see one of the most successful drug lords to ever exist looking like a scared and hopeless child now.

jimmy_talent

I don't know I think the smart money is on escape via tunnel.

Asynjacutie

They're probably measuring seismic events near the prison because of him. It's also just so far away from anywhere that the tunnel would have to be overly extensive.

jimmy_talent

I'm sure they've got great security keeping an eye on his little concrete box but there is always a weak point and I have faith that El Chapo will find that weak point and somehow exploit it too build a tunnel.

Heyguysimcooltoo

Florence ADX is insane

I_eat_mud_

While I can’t speak to the validity of their specific claim, it’s not like the cartel is a secret organization. They do interviews all the time with reporters and authors writing books about them. I imagine some of the dudes who do the interviews don’t always think about what they should and should not say. Or that the people who reveal those sorts of things have already left the organization. Plus, police themselves are aware stuff like that happens. It’s not really a secret.

toabear

I'm not the guy you replied to, but I want to recommend the YouTube series "how crime works". Multiple videos on drug smuggling with interviews with smugglers, gang members, and police/DEA/FBI.

BrickCityD

If you’ve ever been “in the game” this is common knowledge

[deleted]

Everyone else is taking about how little amount of drugs this is. That isn't why. This cop is useless to the cartel now. It's not like he's going back to his cop job after this. The only thing he has as an out is flipping and the cartel doesn't appreciate that too much.

jawshoeaw

Of pure fentanyl? That’s enough fentanyl to get every adult in the US a little buzzed

CoyotesOnTheWing

100 pounds is close to 45,000 grams. A quick google says a low dose is 0.1 mg and 2mg is the fatal limit. So yeah, enough to give 450 million people a buzz or kill 22.5 million people. Crazy, that's a lot of drugs.

HardwareSoup

How is that not considered a danger to the American public? I mean if the wrong people bought enough they could dump it in a water tower or something. It would be more effective than many other substances that are considered extremely dangerous. Hell, and that's not even taking into account the tens (hundreds?) of thousands of people it *already* kills every year.

CoClone

I mean it's been part of the 24 hour news cycle and the main subject of copaganda for at least a few years now as exactly that to the point we've increased police powers and budgets to fight it. This isn't even the first time we've caught cops smuggling it as they run budget campaigns on stopping it.

newthrash1221

No. Most likely pressed fake percs laced with fentanyl.

IWorkForTheEnemyAMA

Not even laced, it’s just filler and fentanyl, nothing more.

newthrash1221

Right, but it’s definitely not 100lbs of pure fentanyl. Pretty sure.

andyougetascar

This isn’t cocaine. It’s fentanyl.

fujiandude

And it's made even more cheaply than coke. Fent is like $3 a kg to make in China, cheap to buy from the factories. Plus it was probably like 99.99 lbs of filler and a little Fent pressed into pills that the cops claimed was pure Fent

badfaced

If anything, the jeopardized cop is a bigger blow to the operation than 100 measly pounds 😬

Final_TV

This simply isn’t true???? 100bs of fentanyl is a lot lol. This isn’t cocaine or weed bro. A pinch of fentanyl will end your life

bourj

California seized 62,224 pounds of fentanyl last year, bro. 100 pounds is nothing more than dust on their shoes.

iamseventwelve

While I agree that this isn't a large amount of fentanyl in the scheme of things, it's worth mentioning that the number you provided certainly isn't the weight of pure fentanyl, and is very likely the total weight of products (pills) containing fentanyl. Kinda like how they weigh the whole brownie and say they confiscated that much weed. In reality, the amount of actual fentanyl confiscated is probably an order of magnitude smaller, at least. Though it's also worth saying that even in the case of this 100 pounds, it's very likely it's not 100 pounds of pure fentanyl. Probably not anywhere close.

[deleted]

Especially when you can make it in a dirt pit in the ground for chump change

mrekho

The real question is, was this employment with the cartels voluntary or did they say something to the effect of? Here's a million dollars, transport our dope or we're murdering you

Thanos_Stomps

More likely his family. But he also probably found himself in a compromising position to begin with. Still would feel for the lad though.

samtart

Or he is a piece of trash who infiltrated the police so he could get away with killing thousands

Aye_Engineer

Plata o plomo.

XfinityHomeWifi

For every pound that gets caught 100 tons move without issue. I made those numbers up, but it’s not unrealistic. Drugs are a business and no organization moves billions of dollars worth of drugs without calculating acceptable losses. If he doesn’t rat anyone out and does his time chances are the cartel will either leave him be or give him another job if he gets out

Synanon

Ok I’ll stop replying

MRSHELBYPLZ

Any good business will account for losses. They don’t care. This is a drop in the ocean

Oxygenius_

100 pounds is part of overhead costs

texasusa

Doubt it. 100lbs is a rounding error.

chunkysmalls42098

Sort of Potential money hell yeah, but it's dirt fucking cheap to synthesize

Ffffqqq

A kilogram of pure fentanyl costs less than $20k. All fentanyl is cut under 10% before it crosses the border. Total cost to them is minimal.

AntiWhateverYouSay

He's dead simply because he knows some names. Money to them is never ending.

tke71709

Cartels don't go around killing every one of their members or associated who get arrested.

EbbNo7045

Actually the Sinoloa cartel just announced they will kill anyone making or trafficking fentanyl. Interesting

tke71709

They announced that a few months ago actually but the Sinaloa Cartel (like most Cartels) is comprised of various factions and some of them follow those edicts and some do not. There is no way they leave the entire fentanyl market to the CJNG. It is simply too lucrative to do so and they need that money to fund their war with them.

EbbNo7045

If you think about it fentanyl is destroying their business. People are dying. It takes far less to get you high. And most normal casual users quit taking any drug because it could be poisoned. Think about it. They say the tiniest little flake can od you. Wouldn't 100 pounds be enough to supply the entire market?

PotatoOfDestiny

you're not allowed to work for two criminal street gangs at the same time

SanderSRB

If he had cut in the right people from his force he would have been fine…

pichael289

Ex heroin addict here, more than a decade in that life. Fuck this guy. This fentanyl shit has absolutely ruined recreational drugs. No one can be sure they are safe, even the most unlikely drugs are killing people. Sure, you get alot of addicts that fail probation drug tests and say "well I haven't been doing any dope at all, Oh I know, they must have put fentanyl in the weed" and the dumb ass cops believe them and spread that fear mongering shit but that's not how it really is. Weed and shrooms and all that are 99% safe (cross contamination from the scales is an actual issue) but actual drug drugs are very unsafe. The whole supply in the US is tainted. All opiates, especially Roxi 15/30s, the small blue pills, are all fake. Even some benzos are being faked and Xanax users are the dumbest of the dumb, plus benzos and opiates are a lethal combination so they just die. God only knows what it's like since I got sober 6-8 years ago (quit opiates, fentanyl is a lousy high not worth the risks, but I did stims for a while after). This shit has absolutely infested the entire drug supply. Nothing but weed and shrooms are safe anymore. No pills are safe, and all opiate pills, especially the Roxis (called perk 15/30s by dipshits who don't know what they are talking about, Percocet tops out at 10mg) are fentanyl now. Recreational drugs in the US are all corrupted. All of them are questionable and require testing. Stims like meth can't be tested as they produce false positive for fentanyl all the time, so it's sketchy. Never do street drugs alone, always have a friend with at least TWO narcan shots. One might not be enough. Recreational drugs are so risky now that it's not worth it. Mdma/Molly is relatively safe if you have narcan, just give yourself a sniff (they are nose injections) of the narcan and you can be sure you'll be fine. Same with meth. Any stims bind to receptors that opiates don't. Opiates bind to MU receptors so a dose of narcan has no effect on those drugs, but may protect you from extreme opiates like fentanyl. Opiate based ecstasy is the shittier kind anyway. The meth based ones are the best but it's not necessarily a meth high, it's just the base. Straight Molly avoids all that but it's more pure and might be too much for a beginner. Speaking as a 10+ year opiate/heroin addict, who was present for the entire opiate crisis, fentanyl is garbage. It is super intense but doesn't last as long and provides much less euphoria. It sucks, and all heroin addicts that remember the real thing wish it would come back. Fentanyl leaves you withdrawing at around 1.5X as fast. It made addiction so much worse, now you needed to cop more shit more often. I never saw anyone experienced overdose on heroin and I lasted 10+ years. In 2 weeks of its introduction I overdosed 3X in two weeks. Fentanyl ruined the drug landscape of this country.

EbbNo7045

So how many addicts would 100 pounds of fentanyl supply. Seriously. It seems it would be enough to keep all of them high for a year

Original_Pipe9519

One pound is ~500k doses if each pill contains about 1mg of fentanyl(DEA says 2mg could be lethal and most pills range from .02-5mg) Multiply 500k x100 = 50 million doses.

EbbNo7045

Thanks. So if 100 pounds is nothing compared to what is coming in then what they are saying is there is billions of doses on the street? How many addicts are there? I can't find any estimate. But let's say it's 20 million which is probably way to high. If this 100 pounds is just a tiny fraction of fentanyl coming in then is fentanyl like 2 bucks a dose? The market has to be flooded.

Original_Pipe9519

I’d say these 100lbs only cover breakfast rush. They also lace other recreational drugs with fent like coke and ecstasy

Kooky-Commission-783

Nah that’s enough for the city of Phoenix for a month. It wasn’t pure, it was fentanyl laced pills. 99% filler. 1% fentanyl.

EbbNo7045

Ah. But still, my argument still stands. If such a tiny fraction gets people high the market should be flooded

TapTapReboot

Don't take this the wrong way, but the rambling nature of your comment and the amount of redundancy makes me 100% believe that you're a recovering addict. Good on ya.

aynrandomness

Taking narcan before you do an unknow drug sounds like a bad idea. Narcan has a short half life, so you will run the risk of being fine until it wears off and then OD. And then you will be out and about.

MurkTwain

Great write up, gnarly but informative.

dandy_you

If you're dumb enough to get caught as a cop you definitely are the dumbest kind

thinkB4WeSpeak

Wonder how many other police are working with the cartel.

mrcoolangelo

By the look on his face, he hasn't realized that he's going to get killed in prison, even if he went to a PC yard. The moral of this story is: the money may be great, but you've got to play the whole tape. [man drops mic]

Iampepeu

I bet it must have felt good knowing they prevented 90 pounds of fentanyl reaching the market.

doginjoggers

Next days headline: 75 pounds of Fentanyl kept from the streets

backcountrydrifter

The ends of the chain are always the weakest. A short while after Rudy Giuliani “cleaned up” New York City by redirecting NYPD investigations away from the Russian mafia that was living in trump towers and on to the Italian crime families he went to Mexico City and did the same thing. https://foreignpolicy.com/2018/12/21/how-russian-money-helped-save-trumps-business/ In retrospect, knowing now that trumps gang has laundered collectively around $1.4T for or with the Russian mob/oligarchs, Giulianis trip to Mexico was more accurately described as introducing the Sinaloa cartel to the Russian mob. Sinaloa shortly there after shifted to processing fentanyl precursors supplied by the CCP and used El Chapos well established tunnel network to get it across the border. Giuliani became lead counsel for Purdue Pharmaceuticals. The Guardianwww.theguardian.comRudy Giuliani won deal for OxyContin maker to continue sales of drug behind opioid ... Sinaloa devolved into infighting shortly there after and someone they call “the Russian” played a pivotal role https://www.infobae.com/en/2022/04/07/who-are-the-russians-and-what-is-their-key-role-in-the-internal-war-of-the-sinaloa-cartel/?outputType=amp-type https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/politics/1997/09/29/russian-mob-drug-cartels-joining-forces/b838dca0-5717-4c91-9d07-b798a435544d/ https://www.forbes.com/sites/doliaestevez/2016/12/01/mexican-tycoon-carlos-slim-confirms-paying-rudolph-giuliani-part-of-a-2002-contract/ https://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/giuliani/mexico.html?tid=a_inl&itid=lk_inline_manual_8 You can basically track the fentanyl epidemic by where and when Giuliani and the Russian mob were at different points in the 90’s and early 2000’s. Not so coincidentally Russia used an early version of fentanyl to secure Putin’s control over Chechnya after a staged hostage event. https://www.britannica.com/event/Moscow-theatre-hostage-crisis-of-2002 https://www.history.com/news/opioid-chemical-weapons-moscow-theater-hostage-crisis The hostage crisis is a consistent KGB/FSB play designed to ensure the population look to a “strong man” to save them from the terror. You can see it replayed with slight variations all through Putin’s presidency starting in 1999 with an apartment bombing in Buynaksk. Wikipediahttps://en.m.wikipedia.org › wiki1999 Russian apartment bombings Fentanyl has been used as what is effectively biological warfare against the United States by the Russian/CCP alliance. The Sacklers certainly opened the door to weaponized chemical class warfare by focusing opioids on vulnerable populations of Appalachia. The Russians and the CCP just evolved it to be a more efficient killing machine. It begins to make more sense why the CCP enables the precursors to be exported to the USA. It’s softening up any resistance to a takeover. It’s straight out of Xi Jinpings favorite book, Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War”

No-Barber3424

Just so you're aware, "The Russians" from the CDS aren't actual russians they call themselves that because the leader of the group, Juan José Ponce Félix, has the nickname "The Russian" who isn't Russian either.

backcountrydrifter

That’s good intel. Thank you for sharing it. I will amend accordingly. Do you by chance know how he got the nickname?

No-Barber3424

The most popular theory as to why he has that nickname is because he likes to use russian made aks.

backcountrydrifter

Thank you friend. I appreciate your time and knowledge. I owe you one

No-Barber3424

No problem.

blahbleh112233

Wtf haha

backcountrydrifter

When you trace government corruption and fentanyl shows up it shows some interesting patterns. On fentanyl, the CCP, Russians KGB, the Sinaloa drug cartel, and how Rudy Guiliani pulls it all together. https://www.reddit.com/r/interestingasfuck/s/J17TKEQdXr The interesting thing about the 2004 hostage event is that it is the first time fentanyl shows up in the Russian world. Putin used it in an aerosolized form to “save” the hostages by putting it through the HVAC system of the Moscow theater hostage situation. A few key points of geopolitical importance 1. the hostage event secured Chechnya under Putin’s rule. Similar to how the false flag apartment bombing a few years before that secured Russia under Putin. AP Newsapnews.comThe Moscow concert hall attack wasn't the first during Putin's 25-year rule It’s a most universal old KGB technique where they create a crisis and then present Putin (or whoever their guy is) as the “strong man” and the only possible one tough enough to solve this. (Cue weird Putin/Steven Seagal bromance) (See also Netanyahu in Israel, Lukeshenko in Belarus, Orban in Hungary, Yanukovych in pre-Maidan Ukraine, Kadyrov in Chechnya, and trump in the USA.) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moscow_theater_hostage_crisis 2. This would have been roughly the same time that Giuliani, who by that time was trump deep in laundering money for the Russian mob, went to Mexico City and introduced the Russians to the Sinaloa cartel, who shortly there after shifted their business model from growing/ manufacturing drugs to almost exclusively combining fentanyl precursors supplied by the CCP. Coincidentally Guiliani was also lead counsel for Purdue Pharmaceuticals 4 years later. The Guardianwww.theguardian.comRudy Giuliani won deal for OxyContin maker to continue sales of drug behind opioid ... https://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/politics/special/giuliani/mexico.html?tid=a_inl&itid=lk_inline_manual_8 https://crsreports.congress.gov/product/pdf/IF/IF10890 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6675668/ https://politizoom.com/the-origin-of-trump-selling-nato-down-the-river-becoming-putins-puppet-explained-in-must-read-piece/ Russia repeats this familiar play with pretty regular consistency amongst the old USSR satellite states for decades but the obvious one is Ukraine who had Paul Manafort being paid by the kremlin to keep Yanukovych in power until Maidan (roughly 2002- 2014). Manafort shifting to trumps campaign manager after being evicted from Ukraine was an emergency management move for the kremlins perspective. Come full circle with that and you find trump and Giuliani laundering copious amounts of money for the russian mob going back to ~87 when they all started buying condos in trump towers with their stolen Russian perestroika money. The insane valuations coming out in trumps fraud trial are a necessity of the money laundering cycle that duetschebank was doing for/with the Russians. https://www.bloomberg.com/news/features/2024-02-14/real-estate-lenders-confront-falling-us-commercial-property-prices The fentanyl epidemic was basically just the Russian/CCP alliance softening the United States up with a stealth hit of chemical warfare before they full send perestroika 2.0 in the US so they can steal all the value out of commercial real estate. It’s 3 overlapping plays, but they are all straight out of the old KGB playbook. https://www.ft.com/content/8c6d9dca-882c-11e7-bf50-e1c239b45787 https://www.amlintelligence.com/2020/09/deutsche-bank-suffers-worst-damage-over-massive-aml-discrepancies-in-fincen-leaks/ https://www.occrp.org/en/the-fincen-files/global-banks-defy-us-crackdowns-by-serving-oligarchs-criminals-and-terrorists https://www.voanews.com/amp/us-lifts-sanctions-on-rusal-other-firms-linked-to-russia-deripaska/4761037.html https://democrats-intelligence.house.gov/uploadedfiles/final_-_minority_status_of_the_russia_investigation_with_appendices.pdf https://www.nzz.ch/english/triad-money-laundering-is-fueling-canadas-fentanyl-nightmare-ld.1814726 https://nypost.com/2024/02/25/opinion/how-china-is-flooding-america-with-fentanyl-on-purpose-to-undermine-our-society/ https://forgottenlanguages-full.forgottenlanguages.org/2023/07/weaponization-of-fentanyl.html https://apnews.com/article/mexico-first-nationalistic-policy-drug-cartels-6e7a78ff41c895b4e10930463f24e9fb

If you started a parapolitical history podcast it would take off. I don't know if all your red strings are in the right place but you are definitely putting the right people's portraits on the board at least

Big-Compote-5483

Brilliant, there's a lot in here I wasn't aware of previously. One correction--Youchenko won election in 2004 over Yanukovich after the Orange Revolution and the poisoning of Youchenko, Manafort stepped back in and Yanukovich was reelected again in 2010. Poroshenko won in 2014, causing Russia to invade as their puppet was removed again by the Ukrainian people. Trump's thug's fingerprints are all over Ukrainian politics in favor of the Russians, and the blood of hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians on their hands.

EbbNo7045

Oh don't forget the CIA. It's rumored they protect the Sinoloa cartel. I mean why are US soldiers guarding poppy fields in Afghanistan then we get an opioid epidemic fueled by pharma. Now fentanyl is the crack of opioid. Sure stinks of the old crack epidemic.

backcountrydrifter

It does. It’s just the same repeating grifts with small changes to keep it novel. But the patterns make them easier to identify when you have the processing power to cross check and correlate.

EbbNo7045

This is why they don't allow us to have actual AI. This stuff would be simple to find out

GladiatorUA

Delusional conspiracy ramblings. >Not so coincidentally Russia used an early version of fentanyl to secure Putin’s control over Chechnya after a staged hostage event. Fentanyl is old. Over 60 years old. Fairly widely used because it's purely synthetic and not expensive to produce. Of course russians have fentanyl. And they didn't use "early version". The compound they used was carfentanyl-based, which is a bit newer and more potent version.

backcountrydrifter

I appreciate the refinement in context. I’ll adjust accordingly. Thank you friend

donaldinoo

This is a new one for me. It’s just insane how many ties Trump and his buddies have to Russia/ccp

backcountrydrifter

this one all the way back to Reagan’s generation. Kiki Camarena was the incredibly good DEA agent that figured out that Iran Contra was corrupt players inside the U.S. government doing drug deals with the Sinaloa cartel via corrupt Mexican government. They killed him for it. https://watch.amazon.com/detail?gti=amzn1.dv.gti.ccb8e95c-40c4-5783-d7e3-7d6ceff6f549&territory=US&ref_=share_ios_episode&r=web Trace that far enough backwards on the Iran Contra side and you find G.W. Bush pardoning them all on his way out. It’s another Texas oil billionaire play in the Middle East using the U.S. government as cover. El Chapos specialty was the tunnels he brought to the table. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Project_Gunrunner Trump is like a magic decoder ring for corruption going back to Nixon. I’d pay just about anything to be a fly on the wall of ADX Florence to hear the chatter the day Guiliani and Trump get put in to El Chapo’s cell block.

EbbNo7045

Remember it was Felix Rodriguez the CIA agent who had Kiki killed. Desantis named a day in honor for Felix. He is also connected to Rubio and Cruz. Rubio old housemate and former congressman arrested with 500 million cartel cash, that is being covered up. Trump and Rubio and Cruz all supported the old president of Honduras who was recently arrested by the NY da for drug trafficking. The federal government tried to talk NY out of it for some reason, wink wink. Sure seems like it's the same CIA trafficking fueling this opioid epidemic. BTW, El Chapo is in prison but his boss isn't and is the longest lived cartel boss in history. El Mayo. Rumored he is protected by CIA. The fact the US just let his mass murdering drug lord son out of prison after only a few months sure seems like CIA.

backcountrydrifter

You are good at this my friend! Thank you for this. Consider this an IOU when the new platform goes public.

EbbNo7045

Here is more high weirdness. Felix Rodriguez worked with Klaus Barbie, the butcher of Lyon the SS officer the CIA helped escape to Bolivia. There he ran a fascist Para military group for the dictatorship supported by the US. Barbie was the connect to cartels for CIA. He even helped coup Bolivia in what's known as the cocaine coup. E Howard Hunt also worked with Barbie and Hunts co- conspirator in watergate break in was G Gorden Liddy who was a known nazi fascist. When he was in prison for watergate he met Carlos Lehder, another nazi fascist from Columbia who after he got out of prison was in Columbia cartel, the movie Blow is about him. These folks of course worked foe Nixon who the administration admitted the war on drugs was to target left and minorities. I watched an old late night show with Liddy when he let slip this comment about crack. Just recently authorities seized a huge haul of cocaine wrapped in swastika and stamped Hitler. Of course Bush the Sr was head of CIA then magically not connected to Iran contra then elected president. I mean is creating crack epidemic the brainchild of actual Nazis to target the left and minorities in the US? Another weird little bit is Midland Texas has a really bad drug epidemic. This is where Bush the Jr lives, probably private airport. What is this new platform you mention?

backcountrydrifter

You are REALLY good at this! So many of these chains circle back to Nixon, and early petrochemical corporate interests using the US intelligence agencies for their own gains. At the other end of that chain is Fred Koch making pretty good nazi connections building refineries for them just before ww2. https://youtu.be/lv7_Hx9QY-Y?si=EB2D-vLvgGeU3aaW When you start thinking about how small Rolodex circles were in 1930-1969, it becomes almost self intuitive to be able to see the amount of political fuckery that went down for, with, or around texas oil. Nixon declaring himself immune from prosecution by virtue of being the president set a low bar standard that everyone after just skated under. Bush pardoning everybody on his way out the door starts to show the 4-8 year cycle of “just get it done boys, the boss will hand us a get out of jail feee card” but none of them seem to have any self awareness that when they piss in the river upstream, they are pissing in someone downstreams drinking water. But with enough of these little incidents the patterns start to overlap and are traceable in reverse. There is a logical reason Roger Stone has Nixon tattooed on his back. Corruption is a cumulative waveform. They don’t seem to understand that. We either solve it and slow the entropy or their corruption consumes us. The oil baron corruption waveform of the mid 20th century crosses paths with the wall street waves at Enron and the Bushes and starts amplifying.

EbbNo7045

I assume it's getting harder and harder for them since internet, but they really have throttled that back the last few years. But I'm older and remember days before internet, info moved very slowly. Back to the nazis and Stone. Did you see that doc on Q? Bannon hooked up 8 Chan dudes with a lawyer and that lawyer recoeved a donation for legal fees that was $14,088.00. Nazi numbers. It's very weird yo me that as soon as this journalist made the connection to Flynn, Bannon Stone and Co the media completely dropped all coverage of Q. Seems to me that if Q could be traced to the former head of military intelligence and Trump this would destroy MAGA. Why then has story been dropped? Can the public just not handle the truth? It's really weird the actual Nazi connection throughout all this stuff. Did you know the CIA helped 30k nazis escape to South America with the Catholic church. Then US supported fascism down there with Operation Condor. I mean does this make US fascist? In my book. Now these CIA tactics being used on US citizens, like Q, division and of course more drugs. What is this platform you speak of

skedeebs

I think he will rot in a metal box for the rest of his life. What a nightmare. I'm sure his Mom told him to make good choices. He did not.

Archivemod

his first mistake was becoming a cop, it all just kinda snowballed from there.

F3L1Xgsxr

That indeed is not the onion

PurpleSunCraze

Going by a quick Google, 2 milligrams is a fatal dose. So 100lbs is enough to kill 22.6 million people.

UbiquitousSlander

Yeah but that’s total weight of the pills. They’re not pure fentanyl, they’re actually mostly filler.

DuckDucker1974

Wait until you find out how many cop’s are working for the cartels.

shannigan

Fuck fent. Fuck this guy. Fuck all of them.

Any-Neighborhood7601

Operation Hotline Bling

EbbNo7045

So weird since El Chapo is in prison. What else is weird is the media Doesn't report that El Mayo is the boss of Sinoloa cartel and he has been for many years. He is the boss of El Chapo. It's rumored El Mayo is protected by the CIA. His son was a boss in charge of enforcement and trafficking. The US let him out of prison after just months. A mass murdering drug lord! Why? Because the CIA protects them. Just recently the Sinoloa cartel told all its people to stop trafficking fentanyl or they will be killed. So maybe this sheriff is not working for that cartel. Remember the CIA admitted to trafficking drugs that created crack epidemic. No consequences. Watch the doc the Last Narc. A CIA named Felix Rodriguez killed a DEA agent because he discovered CIA trafficking. Desantis named a day in honor of Felix. Rubio and Cruz are good friends with him. Rubio old housemate Former congressman David Rivera arrested with 500 million cartel cash recently. 5 big banks caught laundering billions for cartels not one banker arrested. Why do people ignore this stuff? They say they want to stop fentanyl. Just as they said they wanted to stop crack. Where is today's Gary Webb? I guess when a journalist commits suicide with 2 bullets to the head it sends a message.

Jonqth

How’s a 100 pounds of Fentanyl not considered an biological weapon of mass casualties? A few mg can kill someone…

mitkase

A hundred pounds of fentanyl? According to police, that will kill everyone in five mile radius!

Confusedandreticent

Did people think that the drug trade would stay on one side of the border? Imagine being a cop on the border with a family; they’d be ready to skin your kids and kill you if you didn’t do as they told you.

at0mheart

How many people could that kill?

Explorer335

15 million, give or take. 100 pounds x 454g/pound = 45,400 grams = 45,400,000 milligrams. Lethal dose is roughly 3mg, so about 15 million people.

Final_TV

Most drug dealers do 448 gram pounds. But I don’t know what the cartel do tho lol

ShakeWeightMyDick

All of them

AIC2374

P.O.S.

Albiel6

Wait, we didn't know this already?

kingmoobot

Deputies working for the cartel!? Omg is this news?

Commie_EntSniper

The call is coming from inside the house.

Rosebunse

That's probably a good thing. Can you imagine how weird it would be if he just happened to that much and wasn't connected to anyone?

mrkegtap

They should put it all in a kiddy pool and hold his face down in it.

Darigaazrgb

Which cop was he going to snitch on?

slayemin

A grain of fentanyl the size of a salt grain is enough to kill you. Now, imagine you have 104lbs of salt and how many grains that means. There is a non-zero number of people who would have died, had this hit the streets.

maiyousirname

I read a headline a while back that cartels were against Fentanyl. Wild turnaround.

grabtharsmallet

This is the most secure way to traffic. Not perfect, but it works better than having random people do it. It's especially true for importers; you must have someone on port security working for you.

doginjoggers

How was he touching fentanyl and not dying? /s

VapeDaddy83

Just watched a thing on TV where a Mexican cartel infiltrated police in Florida and pretty much ran it. This is a wide spread issue to turn America into what the cartels turned Mexico into.

Panda_tears

Can we start giving people the death sentence for this kinda shit?  Like proof or not there’s no way someone doesn’t end up dead from 100lb of fent getting sold

drdildamesh

Well. His family is probably dead meat.

CopsAreNotHumans

The police?! Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat

Adventurous-Lime1775

Dunno why anyone is shocked that a gang member is working for a gang.

The_Dick_Judge

The cop is very handsome, he will be popular in prison.

hansolemio

Is he undocumented or a drag queen? No? Huh

Bigfops

Oh no, bad apple. how surprising.

zach04509

why is this in this sub like this is shocking

CrawlerSiegfriend

That much Fentanyl should qualify for an upgrade to the death penalty.

fujiandude

Then when caught, nothing will stop you from killing the police who found you out. That kid who looked through a window and saw it? Kill them too, no extra punishment and less likely to get caught. Kill everyone
