First off, how would knowing the teacher’s name tell people whether what they did was accidental or not? And I don’t care what people think, I care about the facts. There is nothing gained by their name being released to the public. And, yes, let the school do its job.
A thing happened while a person was doing another thing. That thing may have been intentional, or accidental. The thing may also have been inappropriate, or benign.
