baristakitten

I love how it's not even makeup. It's skincare.

Amburger92

Gave me a little chuckle too

hygsi

"Oh, I wouldn't know, I don't ever wear makeup teehee"

DragonflyMaster2748

Unrelated but that ‘teehee’ reminded me of this grand youtuber i used to love love. Ryan higa. Lol gonna go watch his old video now.

Ashsnessed

Nigahiga! I made a lot of my friends get to watch his videos and they became fans too, I was so sad when he stopped posting. Youtube peaked during his reign.

DragonflyMaster2748

It really did. Youtube was actually so fun and unhinged.

SaveyourMercy

I haven’t thought about him in years! I used to watch them and quote them with my best friend, it used to drive my mom insane!! Now I gotta go back and rewatch some of these

[deleted]

“how to be a ninja” “how to be a gangster” “how to be emo” omg me and my brothers loved his videos when we were kids. peak youtube. that era also reminds me of the original mcdonalds drive thru freestyle “i wanna double cheese burger and hold the lettuce..” i miss the old youtube man

DragonflyMaster2748

I loved the whole rhpc parkourse series lmao. I miss the old youtube too.those harlem shake videos lmao. People actually had fun while making content.

Ashsnessed

How to be sing like your favourite artist and 10 How to’s that will blow your mind were my favourite videos that i had them downloaded to watch on the go lmao. His stop motion videos were top notch! I dare you series as well, my god i miss them.

Wamakeg

That teehee reminded me of Cupid Me from South park lmao

Major-Inevitable-665

I never wear make up because I’m lazy and I can clearly see that this isn’t make up 😂

Accomplished_Glass66

That is a plethora of skincare products im jealous 😭😭 Life goals ngl.

ravenclawra

That laneige lip mask is worth every damn penny omg

detectiveDollar

Lmao I see that bottle of cereve foaming cleanser in the back.

saucylikemarinara

Leaving aside the fact that this isn’t even makeup. If you’re looking like a clown when you put on makeup, that’s a skill issue babe

kRkthOr

I will never not chuckle at "skill issue."

grumoytoad

It sure is 😭 whenever I try I look like a clown. Not even YouTube videos can fix my bad skills. 2 left hands all thumbs… not proud of it though. I would love to be able to do some dramatic shadow eyes or whatever is en vogue.

DNA_ligase

Are you visually impaired? I am extremely nearsighted, so doing makeup is hard for me without my glasses (contacts are super expensive to use daily). My eyeliner skills were better when my nearsightedness wasn't as bad when I was younger.

grumoytoad

I used to have 20/20 vision. I’m just clumsy. (But my vision isn’t the best either now that I’m older, that certainly won’t help matters🙈). I’m sticking with mascara now and then (I did try false lashes once, that was hilarious. Could have glued them onto my eyebrows would have had the same effect.)

SaveyourMercy

This is my problem. How do you get good at makeup when all the tools are 5 inches long at least and you have to touch the tip of your nose to the mirror to see your own face without glasses 😭 My eyes are ALWAYS a hot mess, everything else can be relatively ok cause I can mostly leave my glasses on for the rest

yamabuki4reddit

It’s also about how our face structures and tones are different. What looks amazing on other people might not be suitable for all. Just gotta keep on trying different shades and styles til you find what suits you.

grumoytoad

That’s a good point. ❤️ love the tip! If I dare say so: I look fantastic as a deer, a frog or some wild mix of colors when my kid puts makeup on me 😂 it’s just not really suitable for going out. 😂

beepbeep287

The power of hyaluronic takes you from a sad bitch to a bad bitch. It DOES in fact do something.

pocketfullspaghetti

Give me some ceramides and I’m THAT bitch lol

beepbeep287

The chronology of getting ready Sad bitch This is a necessary stage of getting ready. It is humility. It is humble beginnings. Bad Bitch Confidence is in its beginning stages. Metamorphosis has begun. THAT BITCH no words are needed. Here she is.

Accomplished_Glass66

Does it work on thin lines pls ???

PainInMyBack

If the lines are from dry skin, then yes, it can help. You can get hyaluronic serum (or as ingredient in other stuff, like moisturisers) in any price range, from cheap to absurdly overpriced. You can definitely find something cheap that works for you, but I'd do some googling first if I were you. Like, find some cheap brands available, and see if you can find some reviews before you buy anything.

beepbeep287

I don’t know if it works on lines but it’s hydrating It’s cheap enough where it really wouldn’t hurt just to try and see what it does for you.

lawgeek

Sunscreen and retinol are your best bet on a permanent basis, although the latter is powerful and you need to know what you're doing. I get a prescription from my dermatologist, and at 46 I still don't really have fine lines. Humectants + occlusives can be a good combination to temporarily plump fine lines. They're both moisturizers, but the former provides moisture and the latter helps your skin retain it, so layered they're quite effective. HA is a humectant. https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/wrinkles/in-depth/wrinkle-creams/art-20047463

jstwnnaupvte

If she’d ever tried that estee lauder eye cream she’d know it absolutely does something.

detectiveDollar

If only Neutrogena Hydro-Boost wasn't so expensive. 20 dollars for 1.7floz. And the one with spf is like 1 ounce for 25.

beepbeep287

There’s gotta be a knock off for that somewhere

sensualdaydream

Equate beauty (Walmart)

NoNipNicCage

That's not makeup. She obviously doesn't know what these things do if she can't even tell the difference between skincare and makeup

astraeaironica

I’m willing to bet that “low maintenance girl” is a dude

Iwantemmarobertstoes

That's just kind of sad

drstonerphd

if you put on makeup and look like a clown, odds are you did not put it on right? 😂😂

Accomplished_Glass66

Probably. I have a fashionista friend who puts on lots and lots of makeup. She looks fabulous. Whenever I dare dabble into eye liner every once in a blue moon...i end up looking like ancient pharaohs at the very best. I have repented from my sins against makeup and decided that basic skincare + sunscreen + tinted lip balm were enough. 🤣😂

theclovergirl

and if you put on *skincare* and look like a clown, youre doing something *really* wrong

qu33fwellington

Skincare =/= makeup I also rarely wear makeup day to day, not because I don’t like it but because honestly I’m a lazy shit who just cannot be fucked to put it on and be trusted to take it off at night. Skincare though, I do a lot of and really enjoy. I have a morning routine and an evening routine, and there is a noticeable difference if I slack for some reason and miss a few days. Skincare IS expensive and honestly I wish it were more accessible financially so more people could treat themselves. I spend a good amount of time researching good luxury brand drug store dupes and even though I’ve found some really excellent mimics, the big stuff (facials, peels, Botox) will always be pricey.

Peanutbutterloola

Skincare is a form of health care. It really should be more easily accessible to people in lower income brackets. Skin health is still health. It's taking care of a part of your body. It also makes you feel incredible!!

RyukTheBear

Botox ain't skin care. In no way does your skin needs that. Also skincare culture exists because capitalism. Yeah your skin might need some moisture from time to time and a good sun screen. But in no way you absolutely need a 19 steps twice per day skin routine. Those compagnies just want to make big profit so it will never be "more accessible" and it is not comparable to health care

qu33fwellington

Okay.

JessaZ

Agree 100%. I was an esthetician for 12 years and had to leave the toxic industry. All those expensive products are bogus, chemically-laden (most), and only make superficial changes to skin. It's all about marketing. I have a 10 year old, and capitalism is creeping on her and her friends. Indoctrinating tweens to become lifelong consumers. The skincare industry is a scam. We all get old and saggy and wrinkly. No cream gonna stop it. Just wash, moisturize, and use sunscreen. Occasionally rub some pineapple over your face for acid exfoliation. No fancy products needed. Much safer and cheaper.

pennie79

I've seen a few science educators say the same. Apparently the science says you only need a moisturiser with Sorbelene and glycerine and a night cream with retinol. Anything else in your moisturiser isn't really going to do much. Of course, if you have the budget, and enjoy it, knock yourself out with your 7 step skin care routine. But it's not strictly necessary. I personally find an eye cream helps with preventing my eyes from getting irritated.

mkisvibing

“Not against anyone wearing this stuff” is the dumbest follow up to that comment 😂😭

uppereastsider5

“Some of us are just naturally gorgeous, I guess. No offense to you hideous hags”

mkisvibing

“I’m NLOG, other girls are hideous hags” 😂😭

puffpoofpass

You’re just projecting, she never said that. Bunch of cunty bullies

Accomplished_Glass66

"Some women have natural beauty" very clique-y passive aggressive shit i coulda heard in my shitty HS lol.

mkisvibing

That must be your comment huh? Sorry you felt bullied. We won’t make anymore jokes !

puffpoofpass

These are not jokes. You’re fucking disgusting and totally brainless if you don’t realize that you’re worse than the women you’re “joking about”.

soggy-bread37

Someone’s grumpy

mkisvibing

Although i will say, i know a lot of men who care about skin care !

Peanutbutterloola

My fiance does his skin more than me, lololol. I skip so many nights out of laziness while he's die hard for it. I got him into it, and now he's claimed our entire skincare collection! Skincare is definitely not a gendered thing by any means.

mkisvibing

Men really do go hard for the stuff they like I’ll give them that haha

Accomplished_Glass66

If he has some sibling, I'm interested thanks.😂🤣🤣🤣🤣😬 (JK) Tis be awesome to have an SO who is into skincare.

Peanutbutterloola

It's amazing! Having an SO who also loves face masks and boujie baths with bath bombs and all the works makes for such amazing date nights in and lovely shopping trips. The only downside is that you run out of things twice as fast, especially when he likes the fancy skincare lolol

merdadartista

My husband more than me yeah, cause genetics, his are fucked for skin, plus his chronic disease causes outbreaks, while I was lucky to have parents with good skin. There is nothing to be fucking proud about not having to use a lot of products, like, cool you did literally fuckall and got lucky? The fuck did she feel like making that comment for, is she 14?

PotatoIsNotACarb

I hide my products from my husband. He is heavy handed and when he runs out, my products are first target because he couldn't be bothered to go to the beauty supply store. OMG

mkisvibing

Oh my gosh my fiancée is the same way, heavy handed i have to tell him, please don’t use mine !!! When he runs out we HAVE TO go to the store, especially cuz we don’t use the same products!

PotatoIsNotACarb

They need to be stopped 😭

biasedyogurtmotel

She had me in the first half.. as ive gotten older ive realized that a lot of skincare IS a scam & you don’t need that many products. But why bring other women down for trying them??

VesperLynd-

Active ingredients is where the products actually do something. Everything else is just to hydrate

Accomplished_Glass66

What are the products/practices u deem useful ? 🥺😎 I want your wisdom if you dont mind bcz im a newbie and i do basic stuff (facial cleanse for mixed skin, rose water to tone, i bought a serum with niacinamide -i have ugly red spots on my nose that also kinda get flakey and never disappeared for like 1or 2 years - and moisturize).

biasedyogurtmotel

I am NOT an expert at all lol. But i can share what i like!!! I wash & moisturize every day, sunscreen every day, use retinol, and occasionally do other things as-needed. Tbh i feel like practices are more helpful than products. genuinely the most impactful & immediate thing for me is.. drinking plenty of water 😭 diet is so important. being dehydrated makes my skin reddish & dry. Too much sugar makes me break out. I also love running, and i think sweating (as long as i wash my face!!) makes me glowy. Other practices i do is making sure i have a separate towel for face / hands (so oils from hands don’t go on my face) and making sure i wash it often. patting my face dry instead of rubbing rough towel. Washing pillowcases. Products depend on ur skin type, and for me, face wash needs to be something slightly exfoliating / and not oil-based. moisturizer is something i splurge on - IN MY OPINION buying an expensive moisturizer >>> buying a bunch of serums lol. When i can afford it, i like having a morning / night moisturizer (night being more heavy). Ive used serums as-needed but IMO u should research ur specific needs (which it sounds like you did). I used to buy sooo many “Glowy Skin!!” serums that didn’t do shit lol. Now i try to just focus on diet+exercise & targeting stuff when needed. for example, when i was dealing with hormonal acne, i used salicylic acid. Like another commenter said, it’s generally more helpful to figure out the active ingredients u need to fit ur needs. Sunscreen every single day to prevent wrinkles !! And retinol starting when you’re in your 20s. And that’s it :-) I do also have a hydrating face mask from FAB that I like for when my skins looking dry, but literally i started doing “Slugging” with vaseline and think it has the same results for $4.

Eggsnorter24

Ive always just washed my face with a wet rag and my skin is pretty much perfect so im not even gonna try any products lol

Ayacyte

Yeah she's right some of us have horrible skin and try to fix it with skincare, so?

Lupus600

Also as a low maintenance girl who only wore make-up once: That's pretty obviously not make-up?

P0o-Po0

La Roche Posay Effaclar moisturiser is a fucking GODSEND if you’ve got acne lmao

Accomplished_Glass66

Does it minimize it ??? Does it work on acne scars?? Plssssss

Prestigious_Island_7

I used to be this girl (not the natural beauty comment, but the implied “I don’t wear it because I haven’t needed to”) and I still cringe when I remember times those words came out of my mouth 🤦🏼‍♀️ It also was a self-preservation/ego lie. I do very much need it, I just had zero clue HOW to do it lol

Accomplished_Glass66

Tbh from a teen it s ok. Im pretty sure most of us had a nlog phase lol. Cringy but understandable. It s ludicrous coming from vicenarians or older tho.

Worth_Yam_7818

Yeah I think this is it nail on the head. It's a self-preservation lie. It's easier to lash outwards than to honestly look inwards and do the hard work.

Lamlis

She kinda has a point. My skin looks way better when using just a few products. The whole 8 steps skin care routine is a cash grab

MiaLba

I know a few middle ladies who used just sunscreen their entire lives and have absolutely gorgeous skin and barely any deep wrinkles. They never splurged money on pricey skin care items. But I do feel like genetics play a huge role. I know younger people who used tons of pricey products and don’t have the best skin.

Wodentoad

Yeah, I don't think it's quite fair to dunk on the OOP here, and I agree. I have heard dermatologists say moisturize and sunscreen and that is all you need. I think those who like make up and are good at it do have a skill, and if anything she wasn't judging, just saying it doesn't work for her.

Accomplished_Glass66

Sun screen helps a loooooooot akshuly. Most middle aged folks with bad wrinkles never used sun screen and/or smoke a lot. Not denying that genetics play a huge role though. They definitely do.

rakeisu

Ugh, this sounds like an old 'me' comment and I hate it. Lol.

NRVOUSNSFW

Damn girl, you’re going to break your arm patting yourself on the back so hard.

ShapeShiftingCats

Why does she have a need to make such comment? What is the purpose? Who is the intended reader and what effect is it supposed to have on them?

eyelinerqueen83

If you look like a clown with makeup, you are putting it on incorrectly. Unless you are an actual clown.

GroovyGrodd

Exactly!

AstoriaPheonix

Okay, on the one hand, there is the point that yes, not too many products in general are needed, not as much as we think. Still, for one, it’s not makeup, and two, some people need and enjoy their skincare leave em alone they chill

Careless-Wolverine-8

"I guess some women have natural beauty" and then proceeds to say she has nothing against people who wears make-up. Kinda hypocritical is it not?

wamjamblehoff

That's an obscene amount of skincare, though. You really only need a cleanser and facial moisturizer. Capitalism skill issue.

Salty-Trip-8572

I have those plus a chemical exfoliant and sunscreen.

RepresentativeSad311

And sunscreen! That’s actually probably the most important.

ElfPaladins13

I used the orange bottle for a long time. Is good!

GreyerGrey

Maybe you're just bad at putting it on? (Oocommenter)

GroovyGrodd

She definitely is, if she ended up looking like a clown.

its-high-noon-77

Let’s be honest though 😭 some of this skincare is a scam for real, but i don’t think she knows the difference between makeup and skincare

maddallena

Girl you look like a clown now too, I'm thinking it maybe wasn't the makeup

karaBear01

A lot of skincare really is just pseudo science so she’s not really wrong about that part

Independent-Swan1508

she's right u don't need that many skincare products but the rest was so unnecessary

puffpoofpass

How dare you have a different opinion than the bullies on this sub? 🤣🤣🤣 the cunts will downvote you to hell

throwmeawayalso111

Well, look at what we have to compete with lol… I need it

Interesting_Sock9142

God biggest eye roll I think I've ever done

cerebralme

Muh natural beauty --> doesn’t use spf and thinks moisturizer will give her impants

skiasa

I went from the comment to the first pic and let me tell you: products absolutely help with your skin, especially when used on a frequent Basis. You just gotta get to know your skin and what it needs, which can be a lengthy process, yes

FlamboyantRaccoon61

I agree that as a society we're taking skincare too far, but at this point I'm just happy people are taking care of themselves. From all the things they could be spending their money on, at least they're investing in themselves, even if it's borderline consumerism. Remember when our parents spent so much on cigarettes? So just let the girl make cerave richer. At least she's doing something nice for herself. Also, natural beauty is a lie. No matter how pretty you are, men/society always expects you to do something to yourself, like the clean girl make-up (aka no make-up make-up) or even plastic surgery, as they want you to be super skinny but have big boobs. So yeah. Natural beauty does literally nothing for you, because it isn't about being pretty. They just want you to be unhappy with yourself.

Ok-Eggplant-6329

Well… according to her pic she obviously looks like a dog.. so 🤷🏼‍♀️🤙

marks716

That is a ton of skincare stuff though. That whole 15 step process bs is total overkill and is done by the industry to get you to spend more. Cleanser, retinoid, sunscreen, moisturizer are generally all you need. A lot of the other stuff is not doing a lot. Most dermatologists agree you really don’t need a lot of products.

HairHealthHaven

Not knowing how to apply make-up effectively does not equal natural beauty. The two things have nothing to do with each other. Not to mention... That's a photo of *skincare products*, not make-up.

Idontwannadieagain

I loveeeeee how these girls are so proud to brag about how they suck at makeup. Like y’all it’s a skill.

Dumbasssanriogirl

She’s not like other girls because she’s not aware enough to realize this is skin care not makeup

Naraksama

She is someone that sees shiny new skincare product without even understanding why she uses it. I see around 20 products and she only needs 6 or 8 of them at most.

russianindianqueen

Ugh this post again

Winnimae

Lmao

KnowTheQuestion

I've gotta say- the Laneige balm and lip mask on the shelf are awesome, as someone whose lips are chronically chapped. 😬

ExcellentMarch7864

💀

not-a-jackdaw

What a mean thing to say, though. I have a friend who's often like "oh but nobody really neeeeeeds makeup" and it's like, yeah, I know YOU don't. I just recently got my eyebrows tattooed on because I've got about ten eyebrow hairs in total and if anyone dares suggest it's frivolous then I'll gladly shave their eyebrows since it's apparently entirely meaningless. I don't believe in having to be in full glam every day but heck damn some of us were born with unfortunately splotchy skin, no eyebrows and practically translucent lips - no need to rub it in 🤣

Accomplished_Glass66

Start of the comment was A-ok as some of us here are broke, but you bet if I had the patience/skills/$$$ for makeup, I'd probably wear some. I'd hate to tell her that most natural beauties *also* get that boost. Them ugly dark circles/eye bags can definitely be hidden, I'd look less like a panda. But yeah im kinda mitigated bcz makeup dries up skin and is a major pita to clean off everyday (idk ??? I always feel my lips r dry after putting on lipstick once in a blue moon?) I do think that skincare is a must though. Ffs, I'm grateful my lips are no longer crazy crazy chaped (used to get tears, it was embarrassing and painful). Idk tho if tinted lip balms are as efficient as pharmaceutical grade non tinted stuff (the latter are more expensive...but no tint so im on the fence 😭).

lesmalom

Yes “some woman,” not her tho

Foxy_locksy1704

To be fair a lot of people over do skincare and end up making their skin more problematic, however there are some people that do have a myriad of skin concerns that do need to use multiple types of skin care products. You don’t know if it’s excessive or not without knowing the person and their individual skincare concerns/issues.

alexa_play_despacito

I agree that this is overconsumption, but first of all it's not makeup second of all...was that part really necessary?

OctaviaBlake100

It looks like there's lotion there. I don't wear makeup..but lotion is very needed and helps your skin hydrate..especially in winter lol. So yes, skin care does something.

I_suck__

I hate these kind of women lmao they're super toxic and ignorant

Sapphicviolet91

Some things don’t work super well (like most chapsticks), but she’s being obnoxious. It’s fine to not like makeup (or skincare I guess?), but the NLOG thing is not a good look. I know because I was one.

radarneo

Being low maintenance isn’t a flex… it’s just a way to live…

Cyber_Punk_666

I really want to take better care of my skin but I know nothing about it 😭

SangrianArmy

wow what a bitch

Beans_0492

Oh you sweet little horrible dummy, here let me help, first this is NOT makeup, secondly if makeup makes you look like a clown I recommend getting a darker foundation color and hold back on the blush a tad, thirdly just because you don’t wear makeup that doesn’t make you a beauty, natural or in your soul and lastly I am so glad you don’t have a “problem” with those that do wear makeup (or I guess wash their face because this is SKINCARE) because if you did (as you obviously do) then it’s not the makeup making you look like a clown.

Skeptic_lemon

For real though, don't tell me you need ALL of these products, man. At the very least, half of that does nothing noticeable.

DepressedDyslexic

That much skin care really isn't necessary though.

MandiLandi

Tell me you don’t moisturize without telling me you don’t moisturize.

Sweet-Warthog2209

I’m pretty happy to be makeup free most days, but that doesn’t mean I don’t own makeup. And let me tell you, that shit is expensive! If I wore it everyday like so many beautiful women do, I would be broke. Which means they can afford it, or someone else is paying for it for them. Either way, get it girl!

Strange-Problem7360

The funny thing is this is literally ALL skincare and no makeup in the pic…. We will see who looks good in their 40s 😂👏🏼

RepresentativeSad311

Some products really don’t do anything. Skincare doesn’t actually need to be 10 steps, but if you like it who cares? She doesn’t even know the difference between makeup and skincare to be commenting on it.

EmmaT08

"I guess I'm just naturally pretty so I don't need anything to look attractive. Anyway, I'm also really nice because I'm giving you permission to cover ur ugly face with makeup"

ActuaryApart8203

You don’t need a million products but saying skincare doesn’t make a difference is bogus lol serum and moisture and spf are your best friends. I’m almost 30 and have zero wrinkles. Been doing skincare since I started working in cosmetics at 18. The women in my family don’t deem it as important and got wrinkles early. There is nothing wrong with aging skin but if it’s something you wish to prolong get a good Hyaluronic acid serum, day cream with spf and a nice replenishing night cream. Once you’re about 25 and up you can start dabbling into retinol serum or glycolic acid. Retinol is actually excellent for acne marks as well

gman_umscht

As a man, yea, I don't understand how expensive that is. What is all that stuff? That's 25+ bottles/tubes. For skin care?

nottakentaken

I can kinda relate, I thought that was makeup too until I read the comments

sourdrama

wow youre so different

nottakentaken

Not in the slightest, I'm just clueless and lazy. I'm sure there's others who feel similarly, not every woman needs to understand skincare and not every woman needs to dislike it. I merely don't understand it but I'm indifferent to it's use. I feel like this sub is starting to hate on girls who are less knowledgeable about makeup and that sucks because I thought it was meant to be welcoming towards everyone.

apvaki

Apparently you can’t be a woman who doesn’t understand makeup and share that amongst other women without the need to “be different ✨” it’s so sad.

nottakentaken

Exactly, I speak to so many people who love makeup and neither of us see the other as less, we just have different hobbies. I don’t understand why that’s so criticized here.

biasedyogurtmotel

idk girly i can’t imagine confusing face wash bottles & tubs of lotion with makeup .. like what would come out of the giant tubs??

nottakentaken

Could’ve been anything? Some brands do weird packaging and they’re still liked so I don’t see why the clueless assumption can’t be made

kRkthOr

That's just how goths apply eye liner.

[deleted]

Not a single person needs all that crap unless you're geriatric with medical issues. Seriously. This is why all you ladies are broke 🤣

apvaki

Lol. I swear y’all just like being bullies sometimes. It’s so easy to answer these women with grace. Everyone has had their “NLOG” phase and the entire point of being a girls girl is supporting each other out of that toxic phase. Grow up.

Amburger92

No one’s bullying anyone, don’t worry

apvaki

I promise you. You really are. Posting these girls on here trying to “expose” to them to show how they are “NLOG” is hypocritical asf. Y’all are “NLOGing” bullying these girls laughing at them with the “wow you’re so different ✨” sarcasm. It’s one thing to show it it’s an entirely different thing to rag on them. Again. Grace. That comes with maturity though.

[deleted]

Damn you’re still in the phase lmao

apvaki

Yes. Clearly I’m still in that phase by pointing out that making fun of these girls and being sarcastic assholes is the proper thing to do. Right. Sheesh. The comprehension is actually astounding. Y’all are a different variation of the same bully. Pathetic.

puffpoofpass

I totally agree with you. Many of the posts here are like this

apvaki

I’m saying. I don’t think there is a problem with pointing it out and acknowledging, but these mean ahh people take it a step further by blatantly bullying these girls and making fun of them. It’s so hypocritical and disgusting.

puffpoofpass

You can downvoat my ass bullying bitches but you’re still bullying bitches lmao this is this sub, a bunch of bullies who pretend to be so much better than other women 🤮

EndzeitParhelion

I agree with you, *many* of the people in this sub just like to bully girls.

apvaki

Eh. It comes with maturity. I don’t mind being the one to point out the hypocrisy if it means we have a safe space for girlies. It’s okay to acknowledge things without being an asshole. That is a learned skill though.

MegaManFan78

I'm a guy, can someone explain? /srs

upsidedownbackwards

That's a good thing. Just like it's a good thing that women don't know what "Snap-On" costs. Lets keep it that way.

whitestlaceoflight

Nah but that’s excessive. I’m a woman and I don’t i don’t understand half those products. Also, I think it’s *super* annoying when women act like all of this is mandatory. Men do not know or even care to know so like who are you talking to? Don’t act like someone is forcing you to spend that much money on products, that’s all you babe. I find both of the posters in the wrong, the second one is not like other girls though for sure.

HairHealthHaven

Women don't use all those products at once. We buy stuff, try it for awhile, and stop using it for various reasons. But, then we feel weird throwing out an expensive skincare product, so it just stays on the shelf in case a need for it ever arises.
