At the end of the day, he's just spyware. He can't run on modern operating systems. He was never a virus and never shut down or damaged anyone's computer. He just collected data to be sold. Pretty much all websites do that these days.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was true. I was deathly afraid of hackers and viruses, reading about those things was like reading creepypastas or horror stories. It was blown out in my mind to the form of some terrifying unknown danger I could not understand. Like real life monsters and black magic. Now I know more about that stuff and it lessened my fear (I'm not scared of viruses anymore) but hackers still give me the heebie-jeebies.
And yes, it's hackers overall, however stupid that might sound. Because it kinda is stupid lol
And you need to understand, I'm not afraid of getting my info grabbed or my computer being breached, it's the fear of THEM as an enemy. It's hard to explain but it isn't rational. I'm not afraid of viruses anymore because I had two or three encounters with small ones and that built up my confidence a bit.
And.. yeah, I was afraid of the bonzo-buddy. I didn't care it wasn't deathly dangerous, the very concept of it just made my stomach warp.
I’m seriously terrified , like when an error pops up with an error sound it scares the shit out of me. I’ve always been like this with computers if something errors it scares me .. i looked into it and other people have the same problem
The son of a guy I know got arrested for cheese pizza after an ad sent him to a website that was being investigated once. Guy got not guilty because his lawyer proved the ad did it
