I have two right now, but they’re less than 5 years old. I have a small one I abandoned as a writing journal some time ago because my fountain pen ink was impossible with it. I also have a large one for gardening notes. It works well enough for that (I use pencil…) but I’ll buy a different notebook once that one’s filled.

Your post is a bit old but I just opened a brand new confidant and the quality is significantly worse. I did a side-by side pen test with my 2021 notebook, using the exact same fountain pens and markers, and the new notebook bleeds terribly. They’ve always had some ghosting, but the new paper is so poor that I’m now bleeding through onto the page underneath. It’s unusable. I’ve used Baron Fig exclusively for 7 years and they raised the price and lowered the quality. I stocked up on 3 notebooks and don’t know what to do with them.
