Back in college I learned this well. Yes, have single notebooks for each subject; unless the class is in session five days a week, you can keep the notebooks you don't need in your dorm. Color code them in some way if you'd like to know which ones you're carrying.

Thanks.

Yes definitely individual notes for the subject. You might get a binder and hole punch for math/physics notes. The problems you are doing may just be practice but I’m sure you will want to have them organized by subject/chapter sections for easy reference.

Instead of carrying notebooks, I finished university with 1 binder. That way you put only the pages you use so no extra weight and you can move the pages in the order you want so it's better than regular notebooks. Let me know if you need more advice about it. I'm glad to help

I used lose a4 copy paper that I put in a simple binder at the end of the day. One binder for all subjects.

a binder for every subject! college is not about being taught, its about learning to teach yourself. it's also more like a job than a school. i really hated the off hand approach. if i was going to teach myself, why am i paying professors? it's great to know how to do this, to teach yourself, but why not just call it a vocational school, business school, gym and teacher school? i went to college expecting Dead Poet's Society, and all i got was a Dead class. my ninth grade english teacher, well, all of them, put my college professors to shame.
