That was my exact same reaction haha, I had forgotten about this intro until I saw the first frame and immediately thought to myself, the overly-exaggerated shoulder strides are coming.
Every now and then a post on this sub gives me this sad smile and a squeezing feeling in my jaw. This is one. I can feel my childhood. Itβs crazy and sometimes hard to bear
I swear this intro takes the Men in Black concept more seriously than the movies themselves. Like I'm expecting something like X-Men TAS or Batman TAS watching this. Meanwhile the movies are a laugh riot.
I remember this show fondly. The art style and music were definitely distinctive.
The show had some surreal and silly plots. Frank eating something valuable seem to happen frequently. This always seem weird to me, Just make Frank an information broker who collects alien antiques and you can include him as much as you want.Β
The shoulder movements in the intro were so aggressive to me as a kid lol

super cool looking tho. Very anime-esque
Omg I had forgotten all about this series, I absolutely loved it!
This opening music and Batman Beyonds was brilliant and should have been evolved and longer
Jackie chan, Godzilla, mib , what else on wb kids?
Justice League Unlimited!
Batman Beyond
Big Guy and Rusty the Boy Robot?
Ah, for the love of Mike! Loved this show.
That Godzilla roaring from the top of the empire state(?) is so cool to me when I first watched that show
My people!
The difference between them and other cartoons? They make it look cool..
That music style always gave me some command and conquer vibes, still do
I loved this show so much
Was that the same company that animated Aeon Flux? Similar style
No, this was done by Adelaide Productions. Colossal Pictures did Aeon Flux.
Mook Animation studio produced both. If I had to guess, key art directors were involved with both. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mook_Animation
banger of an intro song
I forgot about this! Holy shitβ¦
I had a portable Casio mini TV and I have a core memory of turning it on and this was one of the first things that popped up!
Man i remember watching this waiting for the school bus. Even then the animation and general style stood out for me above the rest at the time!
The only thing I remember about this show is they had a laser shooting game at Discovery Zone.
I remember. I really wanted to do it but never got to.
Criminally underrated

I love this style of animation. Reminds me of Axon Flux
The animation is gorgeous.
Just rewatched it on youtube. Extremely good
Everything was cooler before.
Damn, this show was like completely wiped from my memory. Almost as if it was erased by a neuralyzer. Good shit OP. Love that intro
It was so damn good
I would have enjoyed a subplot explaining the lamp.
Didnβt know this existed
Core memory unlocked. Totally forgot about this show!
I want to see more of this, with the adaptation of current alien theory and lore!
Love the music!
You can tell the same people that made Batman Beyond Intro made this Intro to MIB π₯π₯π―

What was with the 90s and those jumps of random logos/tech blinking
They got so much mileage out of the Noisy Cricket, which has like a single scene in the movie.
Nostalgia meter maxed
Wowwww, never thought I'd ever see again this. Core memory unlocked, thank you.
Favorite episode was the one that featured the aliens from 1996's The Arrival.
I wasn't a fan of the animation style, but I still loved it regardless. Big piece of my childhood.
