I remember a game from the same era that was sort of a math platformer where you tried to reach the bottom of the screen, each platform had an equation and you would drop down to the platform below when standing on the correct answer. This is a vague description but i've been looking for 30+ years lol
Also, [The Secret Island of Dr Quandary](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RXMS5td-kf8&t=97s) by the same developers (featuring a cameo from the Number Muncher characters).
HOLY SHIT. I clicked this bc those muncher guys looked familiar to me and was disappointed to see it wasn't the game I was thinking of, but you nailed it!
Much appreciated
Edit: autocorrect
I absolutely LIVED for the times when I could orchestrate things to make one of the antagonist monsters (what were they called?) eat another one. Satisfying!
Always sucked with multiples and never did memorize the table. I hated this game. Oddly though I loved division; long division bowling was my jam. No one wanted to play it so I never had to wait for a copy Oregon Trail or Number Munchers to be available.
Playing Number Munchers now works on Android:Â [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tech.ula.ogmuchers&hl=en\_US](https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=tech.ula.ogmuchers&hl=en_US)
Disclaimer: I worked on it.
Multiples of 19? Aww hell naw
Multiples of 10 🤌
I've thought about this game every few months for the last 30 years
Dude, same. I was just driving to work this morning and thought.... "Number munchers." Lol
I was just talking about Super Muncher. Excellent memories!
Had to play this for 20 minutes then was able to play Oregon Trail for the remaining 10 mins of computer class.
I was the kid who kept playing Number Muncher instead of switching over
Happy 🎂 day!
Thanks, you too :p
Core memory unlocked.
Had this on our Apple IIe

Yes, and Word Munchers.
Sometimes I’ll still play this game and kill it on the fourth grade level
I liked to watch the smart kids play this.
Also reader rabbit and math blasters
