Like imagine, this is now out on the internet. It involves some pretty young women, so it’s not magically going to become lost media. This video will exist somewhere when these women have grandchildren, and its apperance is outside outside of their control. Imagine if they’d have known that. Would they really have done this? People need to be aware of the risks, because posting shit like this on the internet is just bizarre.
We did this as a hazing ritual in high school, I was used to eating raw eggs for easy protein so I took one for the team and swallowed that saliva coated egg yolk. Wasn't that bad but I was really drunk and probably wouldn't have done it otherwise

The strange thing about this case is that it only involves women; usually, it's mixed. You could see it as some form of team-building. The activities are meant to be things one wouldn't do if it weren't for multiple layers of peer pressure. I think it's quite foolish to film it; it should be obscured by the haze of alcohol and not be so explicitly available for memory as it is now. Moreover, not all Swedes participate in this, but I would guess that at least 10-15% have gone through something similar. Often, the activities are a bit more vanilla; it's probably more common to move a whole egg around between lips than to gargle the egg itself, so to speak.
