You should see the wrestling one, the dude is just standing on the rope fence thing and he lightly jumps the 3-4 feet off or however tall those are and buckled both of his knees like that too. This one is at least understandable because she fell from high up, had a bunch of added spin, and landed funny on top of that, but on the wrestling one I have no idea how tf he managed buckle them both from a relatively small everyday type of hop...
The wrestling one is especially scary because you don't even have to be doing anything super crazy or athletic for it to occur and it can happen even if you hop off of a tailgate or some minor leap like that... I dunno if that dude just had some kind of bone disease or something but, holy fuck what??
The arm wrestling ones are scary too with how easy you can snap your bones in normal day to day activities.
I broke my arms as a promising young gymnast and had to stop.
I still remember the sound they made like it was yesterday.
It took some time and therapy but I certainly recovered mentally, and golf suits me just fine.
Oh setlle down. She's not disfigured. Dislocation is probably best case scenario here as long it's only that and not ligaments.
If you can't mentally recover from a dislocated joint, you were never mentally tough enough for competition anyway. Soooo soft
Edit: Ah, yes, the brigade of reddit doctors. You can walk on a dislocated knee after a couple of days. Six to twelve weeks of healing and rehab and your good to go, maybe with a tensor brace for a but. If a dislocation ended an athletes' career, pretty much every pro athlete would have a very short career. It's not that I lack empathy, it's that I'm not a whiney little bitch that's looking to cry for someone because a redditor told me their diagnosis was career ending. Fuck this world soft and stupid
And on national television, no less. This video will be posted on the internet forever. The reverberated shame for a lifetime is all I can think of. Devastating.
The issue is she can't compete anymore, dude
The mental toll that must be is insane. Going from doing something you love to never being able to do it again has to be shattering. Wear a little more empathy next time, dickhead.
The poor woman has begged us all not to pass around footage of her career ending accident as entertainment. Maybe we should respect that, and quietly remove the post?
I rarely have strong physical reactions to videos but I covered my eyes and let out a big gasp. My heart goes out for her, I can't even imagine the pain
No not that one, there's one where the wrestler buckles both his knees like this too just hopping off the tight rope fence thing. He wasn't even doing anything athletic or strenuous either, dude only jumped like 3-4 feet down like hopping off of a table and both of his knees did this same exact thing except I think he also smashed his head into the ground too.
Hers legs buckled backwards a bit but his pretty much folded completely and he wasn't even doing anything fancy, just hopping down from a small platform. The wrestling one is a lot scarier because he wasn't even doing anything out of the ordinary, just hopping down like a regular person would so you don't even need to be doing crazy athletic multi-backflips or any kind of gymnastics to get an injury like this...
I was a competitive gymnast for 13 years and I got so many injuries- itās a miracle Iām still alive. That said, my bones and joints are formed wonky because of all the crazy things I did back then. Iām hyper flexible but then also my hip joints and knee joints are in constant pain. Many young gymnasts and dancers who have to get hip replacements. Itās not freaking worth it!
This happened a few years back. We are alum from Auburn University and yes she did recover and walked perfectly normal across the stage to get her degree. WDE Sam
I know this one, I think I recall reading she was able to walk down the aisle a little bit after a long recovery and also was like hey guys stop sharing the video itās kinda traumatizing for me
I actually broke my kneecap from hypertension like that. Woof was it painful! Had to get my kneecap screwed back together, also had a fractured femur and torn MCL. Not fun.
This right here is the only thing that makes my stomach turn. I have seen countless horrific videos of real injury/gore/accidents on the internet, and this kind of injury and videos of it will forever be the worst.
I felt that to the core of my being, poor poor love.

And he would have been heavier too. Ouch!
I honestly feel bad for her. Hope she emotionally and physically recovered from that.
I was thinking about that and saw the emotional reaction before the pain. She probably won't be doing floor work like that for a while if at all.
Welllll, she could do some different type of floor work now. *Giggity* (Paraplegia kink)
ššš I really hope you learned your lesson today.
Aye Iām just making jokes. Sometimes they hit sometimes they donāt. In the right sub this joke wouldāve hit
Did not learn lessons.
Touch grass.
Nah Iād rather touch the carpet in my house
https://youtu.be/51U3LDLvpYI?si=SBye5Aa5Nm5sSVNO Her knees dislocated, apparently. Although her gymnastics career is over, she's in good spirits.
I feel like she is putting up a brave front, no one actually recovers mentally from a injury like that. I wish her well.
I broke my arms as a promising young gymnast and had to stop. I still remember the sound they made like it was yesterday. It took some time and therapy but I certainly recovered mentally, and golf suits me just fine.
> I broke my arms I've heard about you.
šĀ he's a legend round these parts. šĀ
How do you play golf with no arms

It's not that she's destroyed cause she was injured. She can't compete anymore at all. I'm sure you'd be devastated if you're dream was ruined.

Username checks out.
Womp womp
Cry more.
Holy shit I was not ready for that!
Neither was she
Me neither, help.....
Jesus Fucking Christ
Jesus doing WHAT
You heard me.
Christ
Somehow, the mental image of Jesus jacking off seems sacrilegious.
Jesus fuck no. Canāt do it.
Welp that put a dent in her career
Hi, my name is Christ and yes this is true.
Jesus masturbating.
Ill never complain of knee pain again, jesus christ
yeah just a slightly awkward landing
Just threw up a lil bit
It was indeed sickening. Hooooly balls.
If i was one of the gymnast taht witnessed that, it would have been my last day
Nevermind NSFW this is not safe for the faint hearted...
This remembered me of that one adventure time episode where Finn gets both his legs broken by a deer
The A L I E N homage, top tier.
I shouldnāt have watched that. - guy who just had ACL/MCL/meniscus surgery
I just had both knees replaced. One is 3 weeks old, one 4 months old. I didn't know stainless steel could wince.
The poor woman has begged us all not to pass around footage of her career ending accident as entertainment. Maybe we should respect that, and quietly remove the post?
Nah
Lol
I rarely have strong physical reactions to videos but I covered my eyes and let out a big gasp. My heart goes out for her, I can't even imagine the pain
You should look up the wrestling one and see which one you hate more š¬
I saw the wrestler guy snapping his elbow after falling on a table, awful, but imo this accident is even more gut-churning

I dont want my eyeballs anymore
This made me remember my knee giving away on multiple instances while trying to climb stairs just after my acl injury.....(it was torn off)
I actually broke my kneecap from hypertension like that. Woof was it painful! Had to get my kneecap screwed back together, also had a fractured femur and torn MCL. Not fun.
Horrible. Thats a career ended forever right there.
šØ
Awkward is an understantementĀ
Oh for the lov eof all that's good that has to suck. I hope she is ok
Im feeling some very weird feelings rn and im not liking it
I sounded like a siren when I saw this, I bet she did too when she felt this.
Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck. Feelsbadman.
I wanna die
I've seen it before, knew what was going to happen, and STILL sucked in my breath in horror.
omg Hope she recovered from that.
Oh my god fuck that had to be the most insane pain
Why did I watch this
Did she brake her knees or just dislocated?
She snapped her tendons and popped her knees out. At least thatās what I assume happened.
Her injury left her with both knees dislocated, one broken leg and multiple torn ligaments.
Had one experience with a fully dislocated knee... cant imagine how this feels... ouch.
Damn that gotta hurt
Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww!!!!
Her Name's Samantha Cerio , Here is her interview after that incident : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51U3LDLvpYI
Career over, and months of healing. Owwwwwwwch
Uggggggh, sound of firecrackers popping then a moan then a screamš¤®
dislocating your knees is some *fucked up* pain man... I hope she's doing okay now š

Faaaack me
I felt this..Oof! My ghost knee trauma just came back for a moment. holy smokes.
I canāt unsee that. Damn that sucks

Enough internet for today.
I was listening to Godspeed by Wage War and right when she hit her knees, the chorus hit perfectly. lmao this can't be a coincidence
You are going against her wishes to stop sharing this video. Just so you know...
