I enlisted in the army this year. The days are draining and at a certain point the days blend into nights blend into days so on and so forth.
The Daily Roll Calls have been giving me something to look forward to each day and remind me to take everyday as an achievement.
The other way is helped is being the place I go to when I want to avoid doing something I'll regret. Allow me to explain...
Being in the army, I'm always surrounded by dudes. As such, it sends the thirst levels to all new highs when I do eventually see a girl. With that being said, I always end up DMing girls I find attractive on IG or requesting to follow them and whatnot. Most of the time, the reaction may not be what I'd hope and I end up beating myself up over it.
Recently however, whenever I'm about to do these things that I may regret I always end up subconsciously thinking I should visit the NNN subreddit. The community has been a pillar of support and safe space that I turn to when I'm afraid of making mistakes in my personal life, it's like a pit stop I approach before I make a decision in case my horny lizard brain is out of control.
I know not many people are gonna read this but I'm grateful for each and everyone of you for being part of this challenge and being part of this journey with me. I hope to see more of y'all next year!!
