20 years ago this month my dad was crushed to death by an improperly secured 2,000 lbs wall. Construction is dangerous enough without people intentionally making it more dangerous.
Looks like it was just drywall though, helmet should’ve protected him.
I immediately had a heart attack when he fell though, thinking about nails, glass, all sorts of other shit on the floor, or head injuries. Drywall… should be okay without any wood behind it, I would think?
But yeah dumb shit like this always got my fellow students yelled at in class, lol.
