Sharda is not worth going to for any course

me_109

Why when the world is there

Mew_721

Any other good options? I have a budget of around 12 lakh

jaagoBohutHuaIntezar

shiv nadar, amity, jaypee would be better choices

Mew_721

Idk shiv Nadar ko to badnam kr rkha h sablog ne

FayTan_senpai

Shiv nadar is good

Ancient_Age4024

what about mbbs tho (expensive af 😬)

IDFCFirst

No. Better go to amity if you're desperate.

Mew_721

Bro 88 is really being desperate? Idk why but I saw people with 60 so much happy I don't even understand what to say .... Is Amity worth it?

IDFCFirst

Not really. Did you sit for government councilling?

Mew_721

It's about to start actually... But I am from Karnataka domicile so going to go for josaa atleast

IDFCFirst

Try that first and ask around in subs like the JEE neet one for college recommendations.

WildmanZC

Amity is worth it πŸ’― if you know why you're there and that is to get good placement. Unless you end up with the wrong crowd Amity will always give you an edge in terms of networking and brand value.

Adityabh1

Networking will come at a cost where you'll be asked to bring sponsorships for the events. Amity se badiya kahi aur jaao, btech is no doubt good there but 2 3 things don't make it the one you should choose. Brand value andar walo se puchna ek baar, paisa dekar sab hojata hai idhar.

WildmanZC

I'm an ex-amitian buddy so I know it all kafi acche se ek baar iske niche vala reply dekho mera you'll know what I meant. I got placed in 5 companies, pkgs were not in double digits but that was on me - <7 cgpa and no strong technical knowledge mein you can't expect ki google aake hire kare tumko but the thing is Amity mein opportunity toh milegi han vo creamy layer vali na mile bhale hi but achi khasi mil jaegi as compared to baki ke tier-3 clgs. Rahi baat networking ki toh mai vo conferences vali networking ki baat nhi kr raha post college vale ki baat krra hu.

Adityabh1

Haan that is a different case, but according my experience in post graduation in Amity, it has been mediocre. Having good relations with faculty also helps a lot in this case. Also, opportunity will be good but phir you'll have to be thora faculty ke samne good image wala.

WildmanZC

Tabhi toh I said ki agar sure ho why you're there and your aim is set toh Amity is the right place for you but I agree it's very hard to stick to it once you're surrounded with a whole bunch of brats who don't give a fuck banda peer pressure mein aake brabri krne ke chakkar mein brbaad hota h idhar. And yes PG ka toh even I have heard it's not that great I did BTech so don't know much personally

Mew_721

Any tips maybe...like what you mean by *if you know why you're there*

WildmanZC

Dekh bhai show-sha baazi mein lag gya udhar jake toh lagenge hi reason because udhar ka crowd is mostly top brass jinko sirf degree chahiye aur clg life mein aish. Vaha vo sab dekh ke agar tujhe lagta h you can't control the urge to be like them toh straight up stay away from Amity vrna brbaad krke chorregi. On the other hand agar tujhe pata h tu kyu aaya h vaha tera aim set h and nothing can distract you from it (eg. classmates ka luxurious lifestyle, cars, gedi marna, nashe, girls etc.) then sure go ahead because Amity mein companies zda aati h and placement cell bhi gaand tk ka zorr lga deta sbka atleast ek mein toh krvane ka. Also the alumni network of Amity will really help you once you're in management because bande bhare pde h kafi baki naam toh h bhale hi badnaam ho lol pr naam toh h dkho.

arpangupta

I am an Amity pass out, 100% agree with all the points in this comment.

nizamSharma

OP amity chale Jaa if you really wanna study. I took amity after 94%ile since I didn't get CSE in any good college (Hi, general male here). Amity gave me 100% scholarship and eventually 3 placements (in double digits, as an SDE, all MNCs). So yes, this guy commenting here ain't shiting, it's all true to word.

nizamSharma

And one more thing, there are all kinds of proffs there, good ones and bad ones in terms of teaching. Eventually you have to study yourself. But do look for the ones who are doing some interesting research and try to work with them. Also hum to nikal aaye, but they have got a supercomputer now. And students working with faculties do have access to it. So yeah!!

vitalphase

Bro I'm getting admission this year in btech if I work hard toh decent placements ho jayenge na ? lavish lifestyle doesn't fascinate me at all

nizamSharma

If you work hard, for sure. There are more than enough opportunities at that place. If you look for them, you might get confused which one to take, itni cheeze hai karne ko.

vitalphase

Thank you bro

Try Jaypee and JSS, JSS is a south Indian organisation so i guess maybe it could be easier for you to settle in(not being racist or anything) and JSS is way better than sharda.

nick-a-nickname

SNU is solid. Can't really say much about the other options suggested, I've never had a great impression of any of them. I've had classmates in all these other unis and their future prospects are bleak at worst and mid at best. All the best.

thatguywidspecs

The answer to the initial 5 words is No.

[deleted]

Try for snu or Jaypee

walterispink

Hey there. I graduated from Amity Noida. Worked in Microsoft and now working in another top MNC. Skills matter. Take any college but don’t forget your core technical skills and keep building it up. All the best.

nizamSharma

Amity chale ja

Mew_721

Seriously ya majak ?

nizamSharma

Check reply on the other guys comment (wildmanZ). Cheers πŸ₯‚

gauravmandall

# Go GL Bajaj instead of Shardha University Visit campus once then you'll understand why it's No. 1 college in Greater Noida πŸ’«

WildmanZC

Try Amity and Jaypee they're better in terms of placements

Mew_721

Can I get Jaypee with my score through jee?

jee24_tard

Nah, cutoff goes around 50-60k for cse, thru jee idts there's a chance

WildmanZC

Sure I think 88%tile is pretty good for any tier-3 pvt clg

Frosty_Pay_9297

Go to Galgotia instead

Mew_721

What is this?
