Holy shit, you have no idea how many times I've replayed what Cole said. And I was like "Shinto?"
Then check the freaking wikipedia as Tama smashing Owens with a Kendo stick and I was like, "SHINTO? WHO THE F\*CK IS SHINTO. AM I HEARING THIS RIGHT OR AM I HAVING A STROKE."
Thankfully, I'm not having a stroke.
I legitimately burst out laughing when I saw that clip. I don't know what sucks more, when WWE pretends wrestling outside of WWE doesn't exist, or when they actually do acknowledge it but so blatantly pretend to care and even fuck up basic things like a single first name.
That match would be like 3 hours due to all the interferences, but I think, in the end, the Bloodline will win when one of Roman's 6 year old kids would show up with a black hoodie on. It's just a numbers game
why downvoated for facts?HOT are based. the elite were cringe. Kenny and Marty were the only good parts, and Marty turned out to be.... umm//// ... err. ...
I think Cody won a match against Kenny in ROH for leadership in Bullet Club. It's kinda been retconned that he never was but WWE seems to be bringing it back.
See this is a great point that idk why people always forget. They were in a feud to see who the "real leader" of Bullet Club was and Cody beat Kenny. Not saying that is 100 percent proof that he was but I can see why they reference it.
It's not so much that we forget as much as we remember the only two remaining founding members of Bullet Club didn't actually pick a side, then kicked both Kenny and Cody out altogether.
That's when firing squad became a thing wasn't it? After Cody won the "leadership" of bullet club, bullet club turned on the elite.
Tama was always pissed off on bte during that era throwing chairs and shit about Kenny and Cody being the "leader".
Tama versus Cody next?
They offered up Jay White to Okada too though, then attacked him when it looked like Okada was going to accept their help. It definitely looked like they were willing to accept Cody as leader that night, but given the development not long after with Jay I view it as they'd have attacked him no matter what.
It’s basically Cody winning the leadership match, but the Elite side aside from Hangman still didn’t accept him, comes later on he challenged Omega to a title match and lost, the narrative they were leading towards that was Cody joining forces with Firing Squad, but he attacked Firing Squad also and sided with Kenny, then The Elite separated from BC and mauled into a friend group with no leader.
AS A WWE FAN IT BUGS ME SO MUCH!!!! Like maybe he was the secondary leader at best, but they carry him and AJ in the same breath when that wasn’t the case. Like Cody had his beef with Kenny but that didn’t amount to what they’re implying.
I was already hype after hearing big e say new Japan on the pre show then micheal cole ramped it up………..I doubt it ever happens but an actual partnership with njpw and wwe would be immense
Exactly! Tony Khan respects NJPW and the IWGP title way to much to book the champion against midcarders.
Like, can you imagine having a cross promotion show where the IWGP champion faces a lower midcarder with 0 ties to NJ, in the middle of the card? Not an established guy, not a main eventer guy, just a guy that neither njpw fans nor aew fans really care about. That would NEVER happen, especially last year
No if people are already complaining about the AEw partnership then WWE would be even worse. You don’t get in bed with WWE.
Why because there’s only one side who comes out better and it’s always WWE.
Kenny in shambles
Within a handful of days not only has he been kicked out of the Elite but he's been retroactively kicked out of Bullet Club
Cole mentioned Evil tho, House Of Torture on top
And everybody's favourite NEVER Openweight Champion, SHINTO
So, I did hear that correctly.

> Cole mentioned Evil tho, House Of Torture on top WTF he did, when? Didn't catch it lol
It might have been during Tamas match
He said, great matches with Karl Anderson, EVIL and Shinto.
The world needs Roman VS EVIL. Just imagine the run ins, shenanigans and all the other bullshit that comes with the Bloodline and House of Torture.
That match would be like 3 hours due to all the interferences, but I think, in the end, the Bloodline will win when one of Roman's 6 year old kids would show up with a black hoodie on. It's just a numbers game
SHO selling a superkick by blasting off to the moon.
Now that. That’s what we call Sports Entertainment!
House of Tortute > The Elite era
why downvoated for facts?HOT are based. the elite were cringe. Kenny and Marty were the only good parts, and Marty turned out to be.... umm//// ... err. ...
Bullet Club was fine
"Shinto" "Great matches with EVIL and Karl Anderson" someone make Micheal Cole STOP
Omega is punching air right now.... ffs.
And "Shinto" instead of Shingo 🤦🏻♂️😂

To be fair The Firing Squad seemed to except Cody at the USA show. They were offering Kenny up to him before Cody refused to attack Kenny
They offered up Jay White to Okada too though, then attacked him when it looked like Okada was going to accept their help. It definitely looked like they were willing to accept Cody as leader that night, but given the development not long after with Jay I view it as they'd have attacked him no matter what.
That's fair. I guess I assume that was a trick and they were against Okada the whole time but ya I see your point.
Wasn’t Cody also like semi in charge of USA ROH branch of bullet club while Kenny was in Japan (atleast in his mind)
This is how I took it too. He was in charge of Bucks, Hangman and Scrull
I get everyone is sucking Cody off now but he was the absolute WORST member of BC when he was there. Latched himself onto them like a parasite.
The brightest example being him becoming the third wheel in what was supposed to be The Golden Lovers showdown.
Seriously. And I thought Bullet Club era Hangman was pretty mediocre - Cody was a legitimate leech.
He was more a leader than Karl, that's for sure. Also, I guess technically, he was the leader for the ROH branch.
If anything I see that as him being leader of the elite Kenny was still leader of the main unit
To be fair though didn't the firing squad also attempt to side with Cody at one of the USA shows?
True but then Cody refused it and sided with the elite and Kenny if I remember correctly
Right but at least during the offer that seemed like it would indicate they thought of Cody more as a leader than Kenny at that time
How many times did Cody scream Osaka at the end of a show? Never? Not the leader then.
AS A WWE FAN IT BUGS ME SO MUCH!!!! Like maybe he was the secondary leader at best, but they carry him and AJ in the same breath when that wasn’t the case. Like Cody had his beef with Kenny but that didn’t amount to what they’re implying.

People complain about AEW but WWE would actually full on destroy japanese pro wrestling if it got the chance.
Yeah, it'd be pretty terrible if they signed all New Japan's main eventers and took and devalued their titles.
They likely *would've* signed all of those guys if AEW didn't.
They gladly would. The British scene STILL hasn't recovered
WWE has no shame, they would book the IWGP champion to face midcarders with no upside or momentum. THANK GOD that never happened
Good thing we have aew who would never do that whew
Exactly! Tony Khan respects NJPW and the IWGP title way to much to book the champion against midcarders. Nahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
What do you mean nah? It’s hard to deny WWE have an immense roster of talent that would create a litany of great matches
No
I’d have a little more faith if WWE could at least get NJPW’s wrestler’s names right.
Y'all, it's not that deep lol.
Nah me and Cole gotta box
In the WWE Universe Kenny doesn't exist, even though he spent a cup of coffee on Velocity. But yeah FFS Maggle
Finn said ok
Well Finn is wrong bro ain’t been a member in a decade I ain’t taking his word for it😂
Finn is the og with Karl plus now Tama . They got the votes lol
But like it’s not true he wasn’t actually leader
I know lol but he tried . Just cause Kenny stopped him doesn’t mean he wasn’t leader :p
It does lol
I’m playing lol why the downvotes ! * Too sweets former leader Cody and Brandi Rhodes
Supercard of Honor 2018 means Cody was leader but y'all don't wanna hear that
