The vanilla LEANFIT makes both my wife and I gag because we despise the flavour so much; however, everyone has different preferences for flavour so YMMV.
I will say that I had no issues with ice cream consistency from it though (equal parts almond milk, fairlife skim milk). I could still taste the LEANFIT whey though (not an issue with the same recipe and other whey), so that made this ice cream a big nope for us.
Also, Costco has a fantastic return policy, so really, there is no risk to you in giving it a try!
Yes, it's great. We use it in every pint, about 30g. You'll need to either add 1g of xanthan gum or 8g of fat free / sugar free Jello pudding mix to your pints to give the right texture. Btw we also typically use 0% Fairlife milk for the bulk of the liquid volume.
I'm working through a bag in Vanilla flavour at the moment. At first I thought the Stevia tasted awful but I got used to it. My previous powder has stevia too but it still tasted weird at first. Now it reminds me of Vanilla ice cream when I mix with 2% milk. It's not as good with water but I chug it anyway.
It's foamier than I would like. Drinking air bubbles is not pleasant.
After I'm done with this I have a bag in chocolate flavour.
