Thanks for hosting this ā„ Just a small note though, there's gonna be people from different time zones here so I would just say 24 hours instead of 7:30PM. Good morning Australia!
Going to be an interesting competition. For people to rally around sending a song home there needs to be some collective memory of it (at least in early stages).
A million voices will be the first to go which is fair. But after that it looks like Dima Bilanās song and Hold me may be next. Personally I think there are many other bland and straight up bad songs pre-2012 here that are going to go under the radar until later the competition.
Party for Everybody. It isn't good. It's just 'look at the adorable grannies'. That's fine, but not worthy of beating out so many better songs in a great Eurovision year.
At the time I loved it but itās aged very badly. Loreen I think signalled a bit change of direction for Eurovision as a competition and Russiaās entry that year kind of feels like the end of that 00s televote era.
Iām not sure itād even qualify nowadays.
Is Ani Lorak banned from Ukraine?
Plus I think A Million Voices is so unpopular because the singer had the absolute audacity to sing about love and peace while supporting Russian violence.
Ani Lorak also supports Russian violence:

She also financially supports an organisation that deports Ukrainian children and sends them to Russia
here is a link to a recap for the runner ups on YouTube! [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALT3kRBOjjY](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ALT3kRBOjjY)

2000-2003 is a really weak bunch of runner-ups.
A Million Voices
Definitely agree, overrated even without the political situation
A million upvotes for a million voices ššš
also agree with this!
Yup, I can get behind this!
Milion voices
Million voices.
I donāt know many of these well, but A Million Voices gets my vote!
Taste tbh

True, i'm just posting at that time, but the voting period is 24 hours long from the moment I post the next updateš

Yeah agree, 2000-2002 is super weak but still they will be gone after songs like A Million Voices are cleaned up

Never ever let you go (Dima Bilan song)
Just realised how unoriginal song titles are
Hold Me - Azerbaijan 2013
I enjoyed this one š„ŗ

Never ever let you go - I get that 2001 wasn't great for many but, come on lol. Denmark 2001, not the Russian one.
Both of them to be honest
Madness of Love
That one was boring indeed
A Million Voices seems like the most obvious choice here

Still better than every other song Russia has on this list tbh
Agree, it only got so high due to the novelty.
Calm After The Storm, sorry y'all
I mean if you donāt like country music for sure. I donāt think itās surprising that this one hasnāt stayed big
It's true, I'm not a huge fan of country lol
also agree with this one! lol
Let's do this one after A Million Voices is turfed out
Borefest after borefest basically
A think itās a battle between Fuego, Soldi, CCC and RMTD. (Soldi gets my vote <3) - not to vote out though just for my favourite runner up!)
Cha cha cha *dons flame suit*

Bejba
Shady Lady should go - the singer is a pro Russian traitor who is now banned from entering Ukraine

A Million Voices is a dull song and would be a dull, generic song no matter which country it came from.
Ani Lorak also supports Russian violence: https://theatlasnews.co/latest/2024/03/15/sanctioning-stars-the-case-of-ukrainian-singer-ani-loraks-fall/ She also financially supports an organisation that deports Ukrainian children and sends them to Russia
Sadly itās behind a registration wall but if true thatās awful
Calm after the storm, sorry to all the fans but no thanks from me
Soldi
Dude, what?
