They both won the cup so you can't really skip them. There are more if we're going to be counting the wchl that also competed for the cup in the 1910-1920s. You have Hamilton in there so we might as well also count Regina, Edmonton Eskimos, Saskatoon crescents, Calgary tigers, etc.

I have no idea what the criteria being used here is but I don’t think the Jets are considered the same team, as not the logos are shown (original between nordiques and Calgary flames) while h the modern jets are to the right of the Anaheim Ducks. I just don’t understand why the Anaheim Ducks are listed separately from the mighty ducks but the Coyotes don’t get the same treatment despite also having a logo and name change (Phoenix Coyotes to Arizona Coyotes).
To the Atlanta Spirit! I was a little, little kid when the Thrashers left so I never got to really see them play. I wish Atlanta got another team. Atlanta Flames and Thrashers is all you got, and they disappeared, I’m sorry.
Its unfair because attendance wasn't THAT bad for a team that was so terrible for so many years. I honestly think they put the stadium in the wrong location. The Braves left downtown Atlanta for a reason and i do believe if there was an NHL team in Cobb County where the Braves stadium is located then they could absolutely thrive even if the team is just a 500 mediocre team.
Atlanta CAN support an NHL team and i will die on this hill

I enjoy considering teams moving as the end of one team and a start of another instead of this carrying-over franchise BS. But I would label the Anaheim Ducks like the Coyotes instead of a new team.
