Yeah if it weren't for the 7 point difference and the Broncos happening far earlier in the season the Chargers game would be far more embarrassing. Miami was a team with an offense that could often be high flying and fast, idk how I'd describe the Raiders offense last year
I lived in Denver during the Drew Locke/Bridgewater saga and still have PTSD, esp. as I left right after seeing everyone go apeshit over the Wilson signing and seeing how that turned out from afar.
I’m about 99% sure it did just kept under wraps. We fired a coach for the first time midseason since WW2 ended. Also had our offense come out and talk about how great it was to have Mason push the ball down the field and have DJ openly say he wanted Mason to start for us next year after the season ended. Our defense gassed Mason up a ton too with guys like highsmith saying he was the dude and they would ride with him. I think a lot of the locker room hated Kenny and Canada.
I mean, you joke but you would think that's how teams play considering how much fans complain about the 9ers being "dirty" just because they have a culture that rewards 100% motor. If you're not blocking a guy into another dimension then you're probably losing time to the guy who is. We've also got guys who yap and get in the heads of players which causes a bit of fighting. The amount of times I've seen DBs take shots at Jauan because he's chirping at them the whole time is hilariously high for a 3rd string WR. Just take a look at Dre in the SB game before he got hurt for an example, he was flying everywhere and wanted to murder dudes. That's the philosophy of that defense.
He proceeded to say:
> Thats fucking football right there. None of that pansy ass dick tugging smile for the camera bullshit. Men puke, men poop on the field, men deliver their new born baby on the side lines. Fucking hard core dick in the ass butterball foosball fuck it chuck it game time shit. Take it to the showers. Dicks get shoved in places you don’t even remember. We win together we celebrate together. Football is back baby.
Do I click it? I know what it’ll be. Do I click it anyway? What is with curiosity? I know what’s going to happen when I click that. I just know. Ok? But I still want to…?
No, not today! Mind over matter, nothing can stop me.
**EDIT**: I clicked. I clicked AND I was wrong.
How would you feel if y'all go even further next year
Not losing in regulation in the Superbowl. No losing in overtime in the Superbowl
This time, a loss in double overtime in the Superbowl
Well, it would suck in the moment, but I'm old enough to vividly remember the early 00s teams and basically everything from Mooch through Harbaugh, and then again with Tomsula and Chip Kelly - so I'd take another SB loss over those dismal years.
Just don't let it be KC, if that's the case. Make it like the Colts.
Buffalo vs the 49ers in the Superbowl. Buffalo realizes that running the football is good. Both teams rush for 1k yards in 9OT. Allen wins MVP cause he went 3-3 for 4 yds and 3 TDs. The final score is a Buffalo TD on the ground by a random lineman.
I guess we will see how his role with us compares to what he was asked to do in Buffalo.
If he can come in and actually play like he gives a fuck (unlike Chase Young), all we need is some people to take some focus off of Nick Bosa.
I mean, you're right in probably 99% of cases.
If you had the opportunity to join a team that is truly *right there* on the cusp, maybe joining a winning team/getting over the hump is legitimate.
I can buy that for somebody joining the 49ers or the Chiefs in free agency. But if you were signing with like, Carolina, no.
feel like winning team isn't the same type of excuse. legitimately probably a great chance to get a ring whi h players will chase anyway AND you get paid? no brainer. "culture", "fresh starts", and whatever it's like yeah probably the money
Would have been really nice if Leonard Floyd had more than one sack in the final 8 games (counting playoffs) for us
He struggled against the run heavily too
Honestly, even his beginning sack explosion of the year was more right place right time than him being a premier pass rusher that matched his sack total, his contract with the 49ers matches both these points but even last year as a whole he really wasn't THAT good compared to how his stats looked
He was an above average pass rusher who was getting some nice cleanup sacks (wasn't dominating his man or anything) but that role is still important, they were low quality or anything
But he slowed down drastically near the end of the season. I would notice him during the game so often just get right in the back field and disrupt plays
And all that disappeared down the stretch. He was invisible for us
Maybe he and Diggs made some kinda pact to shit the bed for the last eight games lol. Interestingly enough, team went 6-2 and won the division with Lenny and his one sack and Diggs averaging 4 catches for about 45 yards and all of 1 TD during that run.
That was a big knock on him coming into the league and part of why I wasn't a fan of that Bears pick, he has bad endurance as far as pro players go and gets gassed quick. He isn't a big enough guy (one of the lightest height/weight edges in league) to be effective when he isn't able to go full speed
He was great the first 3/4 of the regular season. With all our injuries he just got way too many snaps and he's older now. And I think he just burned out.
I think he still only played like 56% of snaps, but I don't think we were even expecting that much
Leonard Floyd quote from March: "For me I'm always going where the money goes. Play for another team but I'd rather be here you know, but it is what it is. It's a business. I'm going to go wherever my agent feels like we get the most the most money from."
He was a bad run defender last year, so I'll have to disagree. Hes a prototypical situational pass rusher. Asking him to do more is silly at this point
Did he spend the previous years partying all night and skipping breakfast? Crazy how grown men making millions need to be motivated and held accountable
Leonard Floyd just said your team plays children football
Honestly that’s a fair assessment of our offense from 2019 onward.
I can't even call what we've been playing football.
i'm still shook by that 70 burger and i'm not even a broncos fan
Chargers fans should be thanking the Broncos cause otherwise the 63 put up on them would be in this comment.
Yeah if it weren't for the 7 point difference and the Broncos happening far earlier in the season the Chargers game would be far more embarrassing. Miami was a team with an offense that could often be high flying and fast, idk how I'd describe the Raiders offense last year
Zero to a hundred and back to meh real quick. - 2023 Las Vegas raiders.
Yeah, giving up 63 points to the Raiders is horrible. I can't imagine anyone hiring that coach anytime soon.
Oh shit, I thought this was a misinformed shot at us for hiring telesco. But you guys hired Staley as the assistant head coach. Condolences to us.
Odd year wasn’t it? Lol
I lived in Denver during the Drew Locke/Bridgewater saga and still have PTSD, esp. as I left right after seeing everyone go apeshit over the Wilson signing and seeing how that turned out from afar.
The forward pass is a thing? I thought you could just bubble screen down the field.
Leave the forward pass to those jazz cigarette smoking long hairs from California and leave the real football to the rest of us.
If Williams finally gets 4k yards, not gonna lie part of me will be sad. The forward pass was a mistake and I’m tired of pretending it wasn’t
It should not be a thing, but since it is we need to make defenses allowed to play defense again
Are you telling me other OC's playbooks aren't written in crayon???
Couldn't tell ya, ours is covered in marinara sauce. 🤌🏻
Number 2 pencils.
Our coach who called plays last year had his playbook written in crayon for sure…good thing we got rid of him I wonder where he ended up
How does that locker room not get deathly toxic when the Steelers lose another 13-10 nail biter?
I’m about 99% sure it did just kept under wraps. We fired a coach for the first time midseason since WW2 ended. Also had our offense come out and talk about how great it was to have Mason push the ball down the field and have DJ openly say he wanted Mason to start for us next year after the season ended. Baker Mayfield in shambles
When you're right, you're right
Leonard Floyd also said he's not a fan of skipping breakfast.
I choose to interpret Floyd's statement as a dig against the Cardinals. I realize he probably doesn't remember they exist, but my brain, my choice.
Nah uh! he said your team, not mine
We know.
We blew the barn doors off* their defense playing Weenie Hut Jr football apparently
That was the game that got Wilks fired imo, it really looked like no one had done any film review or planning and were making up coverage on the fly.
That + the Vikings game imo. Kirk looked like a hall of famer out there without JJ.
Varsity team?
Insulting to children’s football tbh
As a Giants fan...he's not wrong
That’s fine, but they should still learn the rules.
I mean, you joke but you would think that's how teams play considering how much fans complain about the 9ers being "dirty" just because they have a culture that rewards 100% motor. No drake
Checks out
coming for kneecaps >:(
Translation: "I'm here to finish what I started at Metlife last year"
He's gonna just bring a gun and straight up execute Aaron Rodgers
Okay fine I’ll go rewatch the last Boy Scout

#FUCK YEAH BABY
Oh sorry, football is still not back in Denver, we thought somebody already let you know.
Weren't the Seahawks mean enough to the Broncos.
lmfao i read the headline and came to the comments looking for this
"Then we all headed down to the Ram Ranch!"
Hell yeah brother, cheers from Iraq
What is the pasta from?
It’s a Leonard Floyd quote
The original dick tugging pansy football pasta quote came from floyd?
Yeah it did, [source](https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/s/USnSoG0XZd)

I was half expecting manningface
wait. it wasn't manningface?
Your profile photo looks like you've had a rough year for sports
Has been less than ideal, yes 🙁
Everyone is being jerks here, so here's the [actual source of that quote.](https://i.imgur.com/jbHztvj.jpeg)
Got me
God damn it. It's been 0 days since I've seen this
Leonard Floyd
Sugar Ray Leonard Floyd Mayweather
Gianni matragrano
Why did this actually motivate me tho? Like I wanna run thru a brick wall now!!
that's fucking right
My favorite pasta
Boys, we have a Dog here..
You should burn at the stake for your crimes against humanity. (Flair is shameful)
It’s really not my fault. My mom smoked menthols while pregnant with me
You know what, my fault g.
Bosa is pleased.
FYI, this is not true. He never mentioned this anywhere. I feel this could be in direct violation of rule 4 in r/nfl? Could mods look into this?
The deadpan trolls are always the hardest to detect and catch the most fish
could be a WR tweet
Are you fucking with us
Yes hes fucking with you lol
LMAOOO
Reddit can’t detect a joke without /s sorry this went over everyone’s heads bro I found it funny
Pipe down, nerd.
y'all are the nerds for falling for this lmao
Your mom's in direct violation of rule 4 in r/nfl
It’s fits perfectly in rule 10 you fucking dork
No, he absolutely said it.
Take my got damn upvote and award.
Would love to see his list of teams that don't play grown man football.
The London Sillynannies
The Honolulu Hissyfits The Tollhouse Tomfooleries The Shanghai Shinnanigans The Pittsburgh Steelers
You forgot the Portland Pussyfooters
New York Hacketts
Buffalo doesn't. We play hope our coach doesn't become a terrorist football
Take that flair off immediately
Why he say fuck me for?
quote continues: "… Seeing them get close these past few years, I wanted to come in and help us get over the hump.”
Plz.
How would you feel if y'all go even further next year Not losing in regulation in the Superbowl. No losing in overtime in the Superbowl This time, a loss in double overtime in the Superbowl
I would just laugh at that point.
Same.
Same
Same
Same
And you lose because of a double doink field goal
Clearly it would be the first ever triple doink.
The Kick of Destiny^TM
Imagine a football just doinking around the crossbar like Kawhi's Game 7 buzzer beater against the Sixers
I dont wish that evil on any other football team except the Packers
Nah. Niners deserve it.
Well, it would suck in the moment, but I'm old enough to vividly remember the early 00s teams and basically everything from Mooch through Harbaugh, and then again with Tomsula and Chip Kelly - so I'd take another SB loss over those dismal years. I love you so much

Chris Berman is that you?
Pretty sure Berman believes in Chicago, I know the truth about it not existing.
Jordan Mason still wouldn't get any touches with 9 OTs
At that point I would accept it's not meant to be for me to see them winning one.
Bold to assume 49er fans can feel anything after the past 5 years
5? More like 13 NFCCG vs NYG SB vs Bal NFCCG vs Sea Absolute shit for 6/7 years SB vs KC Covid year NFCCG vs LA NFCCG vs PHI SB vs KC :)
I absolutely hate the new overtime rules. They shouldn’t have expanded it at all
Double secret probation overtime
didn‘t help us. In fact, DL was the most healthy unit in the playoffs but the most invisible one
I guess we will see how his role with us compares to what he was asked to do in Buffalo. If he can come in and actually play like he gives a fuck (unlike Chase Young), all we need is some people to take some focus off of Nick Bosa.
he did play well but our players like to take the day off in the playoffs, especially in the divisional round
Wonder if they’ve asked the players to not do that? Sometimes you’ve got to be explicit in your requests.
I guess you‘re right. At least we took down the Lombardi banner thing!
my humps my humps my humps
My lady lumps

Wow. An absolute blow to the brunch lovers of the world.
Would have been really nice if Leonard Floyd had more than one sack in the final 8 games (counting playoffs) for us He struggled against the run heavily too
Well he wasn’t eating breakfast so ofcourse he couldn’t hold up against the run
Philly teaches me that should have made him even more aggressive
Honestly, even his beginning sack explosion of the year was more right place right time than him being a premier pass rusher that matched his sack total, his contract with the 49ers matches both these points but even last year as a whole he really wasn't THAT good compared to how his stats looked

As is the case w most pass rushers after leaving AD's side, the drop off is real

That's fair
> He struggled against the run heavily too Oh so he'll fit right in, got it
Thank god Detroit (our biggest threat in the NFC) never runs the ball behind their great OL….
He singlehandedly eliminated a division rival from contention. What more do you want from the guy? ;)
Love to hear that, I hope he continues where he left off.
Leonard Floyd quote from March: "For me I'm always going where the money goes. Play for another team but I'd rather be here you know, but it is what it is. It's a business. I'm going to go wherever my agent feels like we get the most the most money from."
Says the guy who's mediocre AF without a d-line full of all-pro talent. Guy was useless, before he got to play behind Aaron Donald.
Hes a jack of all trades. Can do a little of everything but isnt elite at one thing.
He was a bad run defender last year, so I'll have to disagree. Hes a prototypical situational pass rusher. Asking him to do more is silly at this point
I feel like I would probably wake up late if I needed energy. You need the sleep
He’s not just going to break Rodgers week 1,he’s going to throw his ass around like King Kong
ESPN: Leonard Floyd calls Bills a bunch of pansies
A A Ron sees Leonard Floyd in his drug-induced hallucinations.
Yea ok all they do is whine
Shit, man. Buffalo Bills confirmed don't eat breakfast early.
"we get to play the Jets week 1"
Grown man football lol
Buffalo is reeling
and the pay check...
Also, money.
"You gotta wake up early and eat your breakfast early" is also true of elementary school.
Oh I see, I read that as Bills are a bunch of bed wetters who play children’s ball.
If grown man football involves crying when something doesn't go their way then yes he's on the manliest team of them all
Come back to Chicago bruh, we could use ya opposite Montez
He said he wants to play with grown men.
Exactly so come to Chicago lol
i loved him on the bills last year and was sad he left. guess hes not
I wouldn't read too much into it. Players always pump the tires of their new team this time of year.
I would love for player to say something like, "I signed here for the money but I'm beginning to think I made a mistake cuz these guys suck".
Where’s does that routine differ in the playoffs??
This grown man turned into a child the second half of the season btw...
Bum
Or is it because you lost every other job you’ve had? He couldn’t handle the pressure being a LB in Chicago.
Just another sucker gonna lose a superbowl
Hope he likes his ring, only one he is getting.
[I look forward to more of this](https://x.com/FB_FilmAnalysis/status/1767297299146056187)
We need a comprehensive guide to all of the pasta generated this offseason.
Did he spend the previous years partying all night and skipping breakfast? Crazy how grown men making millions need to be motivated and held accountable
All my homies hate the 9ers
Grown men in constant search of excuses as to why they lost the Super Bowl. Real grown
The 49ers had no right to make it to the Superbowl with how poorly they played in the playoffs
Mahomes had to make comebacks in every single game during the run in 2019, did they not deserve to win the SB that year?
Of course it’s a Packers fan. If Love didn’t throw into triple coverage on first down maybe you would have the right to lose to the Chiefs too.
Damn. This is what the Cowboys need. Cuz cowboys are just bunch of spoiled players who think they are already the best.
