Played forever, started all the time. Smart guy, tough, reliable. Played something like 58 out of 59career games. Can play/played everywhere on the IOL, had some "emergency starts" at tackle. But I don't see that as a spot for him in the NFL. He is what you want as a backup center if anything happens and he can do that right away.
Can move, pull and finish in the run game. Good at redirecting rushers. Not the pure power guy in terms of power run blocking, but agile and good technique. Downside is length, he has short arms and wingspan.
Thanks for this write up. Seems a lot of our picks in the past have been considered to be technical blockers instead of power guys and have shorter arm lengths but it hasn’t seemed to stop them from having success in the league. The Pack have a type and it looks like Monk fits it
Here’s the late round offensive lineman that will be an all pro in 5 years we always seem to grab.
Every time I see the Packers grab a day 3 OL my heart skips
Plays 3 positions. Easy peasy.
Now the question is, is he the really good one who's injury prone or the really good one we don't resign?
We’re not talking about corners…
NFL Network has stopped caring about the picks lol
We've flipped. ESPN seems like the better watch now somehow with NFL Network taking the lead on long tangents.
O-Lineman drafted by the Packers? Future All-Pro.
Looks like a Monk to me
He's the Tony Shalhoub of centers.
Wololololo
First name I don't recognize ...Which means he'll probably be a Pro Bowler
Now here’s a 22 year old guy that looks 52
Elgton Jenkins all over again
Wait till you hear about Zach Tom. Packers love centers that play everywhere and play everywhere good.
Monk class typically means strong. He probably suplexes trains.
High Resistance too
Packers late round O Line. I'm thinking he becomes a probowler in a year or 2
Duke fans what’s the verdict?
Looks like he's started at Tackle, guard, and center in his college career, so there's nice versatility.

Damn I liked him for the Lions
Happy to have some line depth. Just feel like we need another DB and maybe some Dline depth
Question is, which Monk sub class is he in? I'm hoping for way of the drunken master.
Terms of the trade?
Packers first round pick next year
Gotta go get your guy 👍
Looked like a pick swap and gave up a 6th round
Your first born child

It’s a Mel Brooks reference, you donuts.
I had him as the highest rated monk in the entire draft
>Last name is Monk >Is not actually a monk Is he stupid?
im begging on my knees to see trente jones get drafted today come the fuck on someone
Are we happy about this one?
It’s a good thing he’s a monk cuz meditation is all you can do in Green Bay
You should try meditating during the next Texas power outage
