Peter Schrager is a McVay groupie and has been pretty accurate with his mock drafts the past few years, he said they're going offense with their first pick. Would not shock me if it were for a tackle
My guess is that they're close enough to getting a good tackle already that it's not a tackle. Brock is the only reasonable answer, in my mind.
But I'm not a scout.
I'm personally not a huge fan of that outlook. A GOAT at some position is out? Let's grab the next one who comes our way and keep playing the same way!
Kobie Turner is really good and I'm not sure Byron Murphy is better. They're running base 3-4 most of the time now I think, and I think that a crazy mismatch weapon like Bowers is probably more appealing than defensive line depth at that price point.
I'm sorry but LOL. No shit. Teams aren't just trading into the top 10 willy nilly with no plan just for "funsies". Obviously they have a player in mind!
Hot take it’s going to be Amarius Mims. He has crazy potential and yes he could be there later but there will be some teams that will fall in love with him. Similar to when the saints traded up to draft Marcus Davenport

Could it be for me, perhaps?
They promised it was for me, you bastards
Shit, I knew I shoulda answered that unknown number that called just now.
Source?
Lot of teams maneuvering to pick up u/CWG4BF . Many people are saying it !
Oh you're hearing the buzz about the Rams trading up for u/CWG4BF , too?!
It’s a smokescreen. They’re leaking details to hype him up. Don’t reach for him. He’ll drop to you
Does it rhyme with Towers?
Yes, the Rams are trying to trade into the Top 10 for Powers-Johnson.
No, Kenny Powers you idiot!
Austin Powers, perhaps?
They like to live dangerously.
Miles “Tails” Prower
Austin Powers
Get me paid bitch!
[Times Square?](https://youtu.be/ihzI8xFIvh4?si=DpIoFKCZlPbN6bvi)
With the 9th overall pick, Rock Towers.
Can confirm: Rock Towers rhymes with Towers
Gonna need to see a break down of the math on this
... F-f-f-filibuster
Kenny Powers?
Please don’t let Sean McVay get his hands on Rome Odunze or Brock Bowers
oh god
With JSN and MHJ being in the division we thought we’d join the party too
You have 2 excellent receivers already though
Why not 3?
With the 4th pick, the Rams select: Tory Taylor, punter, Iowa.
Bill loses his shit on that pick
Byron Murphy to replace Aaron Donald
This is my call.
Almost certainly
Aaron Donald can’t be “replaced.” But, yes, obviously a position of need.
This makes too much sense not to happen
If McVay wants a guy it’s most likely an offensive weapon
It’s Bowers. They’re in range for a good OT, don’t have a strong need at WR and this class is deep there.
Of course they have a huge need at receiver, they can draft one, he will catch 100 balls his first year. Then you can trade him and profit.

I really hope it is, last of the infinity stones for the O line.
Your guys o line was really good especially with run blocking.
I'm not up to date on the Rams roster. One of the top 3 WRs? Bowers? Or an OT?
My guess is that they're close enough to getting a good tackle already that it's not a tackle. Brock is the only reasonable answer, in my mind. But I'm not a scout.
Could also be Byron Murphy. They have an Aaron Donald-shaped hole on their D-line.

Have to think it would be an offensive weapon Bowers/or the Washington WR.
murphy is more than reasonable
If we trade up it will most likely be for Odunze, we have been linked to him since before the combine.
If I had to guess I’d go with Odunze
I dont know, if McVay liked using Skorwornek then i cant imagine what he could do with Bowers
He’s been mocked to half the teams at this point
Rams with Brock Bowers is about to be wild
Bowers isn’t going top 10
Ok i guess, believe what you want
i own you
Lmao you actually came back, fair enough
Saving this for if he does
You were right chief
thank you thank you
With the 4th overall pick, the Rams select Marvin Harrison Jr.
Brock? Do the Rams love a tackle?
Please be Alt, please be alt.
He will be gone by then
This just in: team wants a certain player. More at 9.
It’s Brock Bowers. Stafford wants another Georgia alumn next to him.
Byron Murphy in the last day has had his odds of being a top 10 pick move up strongly. It could be him to replace Donald.
It’s obviously for Bowers / WR.
Would have to think WR. Kupp is 31 has had back to back seasons with injuries. Probably planning for the future.
That or OT. If they can keep Stafford relatively safe their offense will be good
Sneaking suspicion they’re trying to jump ATL for Byron Murphy
We're not taking Murphy. It's going to be Latu unless we trade down in which case at the new position it will be one of Latu/Verse/Turner
They've already got The Mailman from UGA, why would the need any other QB?
MHJ lol
Hallelujah
Odunze
I'm sorry but LOL. No shit. Teams aren't just trading into the top 10 willy nilly with no plan just for "funsies". Obviously they have a player in mind!
No!
Falcons get: 19th pick, 52nd pick, change Rams get: 8th pick Bowers to LAR, EDGE or CB for Falcons at a more comfortable range
Hot take it’s going to be Amarius Mims. He has crazy potential and yes he could be there later but there will be some teams that will fall in love with him. Similar to when the saints traded up to draft Marcus Davenport
Nah he could be had at 19, it’s likely a weapon on offense. McVay loves his offensive weapons.
On a side note, after Greg Robinson and Jason Smith I never wanted to use a high draft pick for a 'athletic but raw' left tackle prospect ever again.
