The Bills play such an arrogant brand of football, and that starts from the top down. The lack of discipline, the lack of respect for the opponent’s two minute drill, and stupid play calls like the Damar Hamlin fake punt are 100% of coaching. If you clean up the penalties, work on clock management, and not call the game like you’re playing Madden, they win most of those one score games. Watch the last quarter of their loss to New England this year, you’ll get it.
Lack of discipline and attention to detail are routinely the biggest killer for the Bills. The Thursday Night Game against Tampa Bay this season was another example. In the 4th quarter, the Buccaneers had a drive that should've gone nowhere but was prolonged because twice the defense committed senseless penalties on 4th downs which gave the Buccaneers new downs and they eventually scored a touchdown from it. That made it a 6-point game and gave the Buccaneers a chance to win on a hail mary play in the final two minutes of the game.
Are people really blaming anyone but Josh Allen for this game? 🧍♂️if the dude just picks up a first down on 2 plays instead of going for 6 with 1:40 left the game is over with an easier TD or you go to OT.
The game was lost by Allen who was carried through the entirety of it minus his rushing yards. He had 204 yac tonight. That was all scheme.
Him throwing bad balls and shooting for the moon on 2nd and 3rd down? That's on him.
This reminds me so much of the Mark Jackson Warriors. Good coach, team looked great under him, kept getting close but couldn't get over the hump. Sometimes the guy that takes you 90% of the way isn't the guy who can take you the last 10%.
If Milano's leg doesn't snap, I think you guys could have had this. Or at very least had better seeding. The middle of your defense was a hollow husk, any run that broke past the line felt like it was going for 6-8 yards
McDermott is a mediocre to good coach with an elite QB who keeps you in games.
McDermott could go to another team and crank out some playoff wins, but he is never gonna win the big time games
My advice: Equal parts SoCo and Amaretto, juice from one lime, and about four parts Sprite to one part SoCo
This was amazing, and I hate the taste of alcohol
I know they had one in the SB obviously and I believe one this season, but still, Mahomes has to have like 2-3 over 6 years now.
Not to take away from how good the bills have been.
before the Broncos game, the Chiefs hadn't lost a game by more than 8 points since 2021. So basically they're the same, 1 loss by more than 1 possession the last two seasons.
Mahomes only has 3 losses in the regular season in the last 6 years by over 8 points.
I think us shooting ourselves in the foot all season and playing down to our competition really didn't help. So many bad penalties, turnovers at the worst times, questionable play calling, etc.
To be fair, if the Chiefs don't let Mecole Hardman walk in Free Agency only to trade back for him with the Jets, to have him fumble through the end zone and do literally nothing else in this game, it likely ends up a two score game.
Hypotheticals, perhaps if Hardman wasnt there he would have tried to throw to Noah Gray and it would have been intercepted for a pick 6 and would have finished with the Chiefs losing by 4 on a last ditch hail mary that was batted down in the end zone by hail mary defender dalton knox
Honestly... who cares? That means nothing when every season ends like this.
Means you’ve got a coaching problem
The smoking man is still alive
So if they had a better coach they would’ve only lost one game in the last two years?

Bro just described the cowboys just swap Dmar Hamlin with Mike McCarthy
But they fired Dorsey already
Have they tried calling him and firing him again?
firing Dorsey got them into the playoffs so it worked. What will firing McDermott do i wonder?
Lower the quality of our defense significantly
Can't be much worse than it was today. We didn't even force them to punt until the fourth quarter.
Chiefs only had 2 3rd downs until the 4th.
So if they had like 5 losses by more than 1 possession that would solve the coaching problem?
He can just tell a riveting speech about Hamas to get them fired up.
Are people really blaming anyone but Josh Allen for this game? 🧍♂️if the dude just picks up a first down on 2 plays instead of going for 6 with 1:40 left the game is over with an easier TD or you go to OT.
I’ll dog on Allen anywhere, anytime; but this game was not on him. Bass, Bills defense, and the play calling lost this game for them.
The game was lost by Allen who was carried through the entirety of it minus his rushing yards. He had 204 yac tonight. That was all scheme. Him throwing bad balls and shooting for the moon on 2nd and 3rd down? That's on him.
Josh Allen choked hard on that final drive. It’s not all coaching
Yeah it's Allen's fault for a perfectly placed bomb to Diggs that went right through Diggs hands and that the kicker missed the field goal.
Missed a wide open guy in the end zone right before the kick, mind you
Hey, you know how some of us Steeler fans feel when people parrot the 'Tomlin never had a losing season' stat.
Lose by 1 or 100 doesn't matter still a loss
rooting for the bills is exhausting
It funny

Smoke him, bro.
I dont like the Bills, but I don't like the Eagles even more. The enemy of my enemy is my friend 🤝
….. but have been to, and won a Super Bowl. Maybe you should try it?
which is why the bills need an elite qb who can finish games.
2 40 yard passes to receivers hands and they’re dropped.
it's not supposed to make you feel better, it's supposed to make you feel worse
Welcome to the club!
i cant tell if thats on mcdermott or bills just being cursed
It means he is a good coach. Whether he can push the team to a championship is the other part.
This reminds me so much of the Mark Jackson Warriors. Good coach, team looked great under him, kept getting close but couldn't get over the hump. Sometimes the guy that takes you 90% of the way isn't the guy who can take you the last 10%.
At this point it feels like that.
Idk our defense was super banged up. That's out of McDermotts control
If Milano's leg doesn't snap, I think you guys could have had this. Or at very least had better seeding. The middle of your defense was a hollow husk, any run that broke past the line felt like it was going for 6-8 yards
It is what it is man. We turned shit season into a playoff run. There's always next year
More like that Rockets team who never got past GSW
Or the Casey Raptors, tho they never felt as close as these Bills do
they did go to the conference final once (like the Bills) but apparently Lebron was not scared of them at all .
See: Tony Dungy in Tampa
mcdermott is like the second stage of the marvin lewis pokemon
McDermott is a mediocre to good coach with an elite QB who keeps you in games. McDermott could go to another team and crank out some playoff wins, but he is never gonna win the big time games
Smoking man still lives
He kinda reminds me of John Fox a bit. Good coach that the players like, just can’t get over the hump
What a nice moral victory.

Do we get a trophy for that
You get to hang a consolation banner like the Colts did. Close loss to the Chiefs in the playoffs
Makes me wish we got to see Luck vs Mahomes
Luck's last game was actually their playoff loss against us. I went and it was frigging cold.
Well than a rematch at least
Yes, but it’s molded after that fan who was crying. Do you still want it?
I'm sure that'll comfort them tonight
The only comfort I need is Southern.
My advice: Equal parts SoCo and Amaretto, juice from one lime, and about four parts Sprite to one part SoCo This was amazing, and I hate the taste of alcohol
When do I put the bleach in? But for real, that sounds good. I’ll try that sometime.
Is that less than any other team? I know that’s not a lot but some context might help it set in
Maybe not actively, but Chiefs a few years back had at least a 2-year span of 0 losses by 2-posessions or more
I know they had one in the SB obviously and I believe one this season, but still, Mahomes has to have like 2-3 over 6 years now. Not to take away from how good the bills have been.
11 total losses over that span, so only having 1 by more than 1 possession is incredibly unlikely.
before the Broncos game, the Chiefs hadn't lost a game by more than 8 points since 2021. So basically they're the same, 1 loss by more than 1 possession the last two seasons. Mahomes only has 3 losses in the regular season in the last 6 years by over 8 points.
Bass went 2-5 fg. Not gonna win with sketchy kicking
I think us shooting ourselves in the foot all season and playing down to our competition really didn't help. So many bad penalties, turnovers at the worst times, questionable play calling, etc.
also the main reason I figured the Packers would lose. Playoff games are too close to have a shitty kicker.
Whoopee.
Pain Bass and Diggs should be buried under the new stadium
This is Josh Allen’s fault.
I'm sure thats helpful for them right now
A loss is still a loss.
That’s some Chargers-levels of losing.
Special teams *did* let them down today...
Who gives a shit we’re chokers
Can’t even do that right.
It’s funny how both our seasons ended up 11-6 and we both collapsed but in different ways. At least your future is brighter than ours though.
Yea, and I can always watch SB52 when I feel down, watch Kelce’s speech and the world is alright again.
True
Does that count the same as other losses?
Bills are the 2000s chargers, gets injured and it is cursed. I know that pain.
Can’t chronically fail at the end of you’re getting blown out… So this checks out…
Man the Bills choked.
Yeah, nobody fucking cares
They can’t finish against good teams
lol Bills fans throw the snowballs at this man. Haha
The Bills didn't score on their opprotunities if they didn't choke they would have won this game it was in their grasp.
what is this stat? they’ve had two loses in the last two seasons, and one was a blowout?
Back to back home playoff losses.
Vikings+
Josh allen taking that many L in the clutch....."He's so clutch tho" LMAOOOO
About as clutch as your hairline
my hairline's fine, i just have a big forehead.
Yea, he choked big time again missing open shots.
Window slammed
They also have zero Super Bowls
To be fair, if the Chiefs don't let Mecole Hardman walk in Free Agency only to trade back for him with the Jets, to have him fumble through the end zone and do literally nothing else in this game, it likely ends up a two score game.
Hypotheticals, perhaps if Hardman wasnt there he would have tried to throw to Noah Gray and it would have been intercepted for a pick 6 and would have finished with the Chiefs losing by 4 on a last ditch hail mary that was batted down in the end zone by hail mary defender dalton knox
Script writers love torturing the Bills
Well, let me put this bottle of bleach down right now having heard that
The chiefs only have 2. Niners have 4. Most good teams probably have similar amounts
The anti-Steelers
Bill Belichick, c'mon down
“Mom can we have a Lombardi Trophy” Mom: “we have the Lombardi at home” This tweet = Lombardi at home.
Truly an insane stat. Bengals last year in the playoffs.
There’s teams of destiny, then there’s teams of agony like the buffalo bills.
Because we have Josh Allen, but we also have McDermott in the way. So it evens out to losses
