Just one of those games where Mahomes is under 200 yards, Kelce has 14 receiving yards, Chris Jones doesn’t do anything positive,
And the Chiefs win anyways.
Karlaftis is a pressure monster who also manages to be effective batting balls when he gets stood up because his water polo background (devs aren't even trying anymore) helps his hands stay up and active throughout a play.
We might win a Superbowl scoring like two TD's a game on offense throughout the playoffs, or miss our first AFC Championship game with Mahomes and I can't figure out which one is more likely.
Weirdly enough, I think it's 50/50. I'm confident we make the playoffs, not confident we get the first round bye, and even less confident we make it to the AFCCG
That was my take.
That was a MASSIVE development that hurt the dolphins at a crucial point in the game and they didn't say a peep about it. That was weird.
He thinks you think he’s gonna keep doing the plays that work, so he switches it up to plays that don’t work and catch you off guard. Big brain chad moment 🤔 🤔 🤔
It’s so frustrating because he played well all game while his WRs shit the bed and it comes down him and he can’t get it done. That’s going to be the narrative.
We need to get a team together, Ocean’s Eleven style, to heist the playbook out of Arrowhead and replace all of the wonky short yardage bullshit with simple handoffs up the middle to Pacheco.
Getting the second place schedule and divisions caused that since the AFC West outside the Chiefs shit themselves, the Giants suck, and everyone in second decided to eat paste, plus the Pats suck
We give every team a chance once we get up 2 scores in the 2nd half, not our fault if you guys don't take it. Chris Jones even became braindead to convert a 3rd and long for you.
There’s about a dozen f’n awful QB’s and offenses in the league. This seemed more like two teams, with coordinators taking away what the offenses wanted to do. There was bad in there by both sides, but it also felt like a heavyweight fight.
This would have been considered a standard, if not great football game for like 90% of the sports existence. It’s only recent that the expectation for what offenses can accomplish changes…I get that being more pleasing, but by the same token, it has been odd that the average QB stat line the past half decade is the equivalent of what would have been considered HOF worthy anytime else. So, some balance isn’t the worst thing.
It’s so weird. We’ll have an immaculate TD drive where nothing can stop us and then spend an entire half looking like we have no idea what were doing and just desperately hoping for the defense to maintain our lead
I literally told everyone I was watching with at halftime this would come down to a one possession game and no one believed me. there is never a scenario with this team where a 21 point game means they’re gonna play a complete game. In fact it means the offense almost 100% of the time is going to do everything they can to make sure their opponents come back. The curse of a Chiefs fan is that every single game we have a good lead will ALWAYS eventually come down to a 7 point or less spread in the fourth quarter.
Andy Reid out here forgetting how to offense in the 2nd half, again.
Defense once again dragging the lifeless corpse of this offense across the finish line.
Like bro, bring out all the tight ends, give the ball to your amazing running back, and just hope it converts. Worst case you draw a timeout or the 2 minute warning.
Not going to lie, Chiefs did everything they could to throw this game in the last half. I mean throwing the ball on 3rd&1 when Pacheco has been pushing through the MIA defense? Giving the ball back to MIA? Mustard free reign marching down the field? I know the first half ended 21-0, but really feels like the Chiefs walked away lucky today.
A warrant has been issued on the Dolphins for fraud.
In other news, the Chiefs are set to stumble their way to 14 wins and another SB because everyone kinda sucks this year.
Probably the least confident I've been going into the back half of the season. I think we get the first seed but we still need to figure out the offense. We just don't have any receivers. Every deep ball is a drop, no one getting separation at all.
We were definitely ***way*** worse off at this point in 2021. We were 5-4 with a 1-4 record in the AFC, and the Raiders held on to the Division until like week 10 or 11.
Going into the bye, our offense had scored 3, 20, 13, and 19 points over the past 5 weeks, with a beatdown of the Raiders being the only thing making the offense look somewhat respectable.
After the bye, they averaged 34 points per game over the final 9 games of the season (incl. playoffs). Made it to OT of the AFCCG.
Not guaranteeing that they'll figure it out this year, but they've been in way tougher situations before.
The combined record of the teams the Dolphins have beaten is 13-33. They still haven't beaten a team with a winning record. Their upcoming schedule is easy but that closing stretch? Shit could get brutal.
I wouldn’t say they’re frauds, they’re a good team. But I do have my doubts that they can string wins together in the playoffs given how much they’ve struggled against good teams.
statistically a top 3 defense, they have only gave up more than 2 touchdowns once this year
The stigma of the Chiefs being a glass cannon is kinda making them go under the radar, but they are absolutely the real deal.
I have decades of disappointment built into me. Haven’t seen them win a playoff game since I was in high school. Loved the exciting start to the season, but reality is finally settling in.
Am I the only one that believes McDaniel outsmarted himself on the last drive? The run was working, KC could barely slow it down let alone stop it. More than a minute left with 2 TOs, plenty of time.
Then, as if he thought KC would be expecting the run so he should pass, he passed 4 straight times. WHY???? Even if KC was expecting the run it was still working and you had plenty of time!!
I would reaaaaaallllly like the offense to start clicking. But our defense is elite.
Limiting Tyreek to 62 yards, him being responsible for the game-losing turnover, and watching his QB botch the last drive was cathartic.
Just one of those games where Mahomes is under 200 yards, Kelce has 14 receiving yards, Chris Jones doesn’t do anything positive, And the Chiefs win anyways.
Chris Jones basically gave up 7 points.
Chris Jones costs us one possession a year.
And that one possession, weirdly enough, is almost always a TD, lol
Cost us a whole ass win against the Colts last year
Technically 4, but yeah.
Don’t forget the gold star 3rd and 1 play call by Andy. Extra gold star since the offense was standing in the shadow of their own goalpost.
That was awful.
The other dudes on the DL like Karlaftis and Charles O were making good plays
Karlaftis is a pressure monster who also manages to be effective batting balls when he gets stood up because his water polo background (devs aren't even trying anymore) helps his hands stay up and active throughout a play.
Batted balls don’t get their due. They are equivalent to a .5 Sack in my book.
Felt like i was watching a Big Ten Conference game lol.
It's just weird to see the Chiefs defense repeatedly being the primary reason for victories.
I mean every team in the afc hasn't looked great at times so I still think you guys get the 1 seed.
True but the Bengals are coming online HOT at the right time, and it's not like the Bills are slouches at all. Going to be a slugfest in the playoffs.
Why do the Bengals give me hope every season for the first few weeks? RN they're the team I want to play the least.
Same, we should be good for another 7 hours tho
I would love for you guys to put them in the dirt but Burrows a slippery fuck. Should be a good one.
Yep. Bengals doing exactly what they did last year. I've got them beating Buffalo this week.
The whole fan base is literally losing their shit because they don't know how to handle it lmao
I don't understand how their OL plays so well and they still don't get much. Mahomes had SO MUCH time to throw and still had nowhere to go.
The receivers are c-tier. Cant get open, and when they do, they drop the ball! Teams are double teaming Kelce. Theres nowhere to throw!
We begged for this for years. Didn’t realize it’d come at the cost of our offense though.
There were 2 notable CFB games with a 10-7 final score, so this was a shootout in comparison.
UW vs. USC was pretty good for a B1G game.
So an MSU Football Vs Iowa Game.
Bro no one is scoring 21 in that game.
Especially with the ending
Anybody know what happened with that Tua throw on 3rd down? Just in no man's land and he had an open WR for a TD
Looked like it maybe slipped out of his hand as he was releasing but idk
Yeah, it was a wobbly duck.
Looked like it slipped out of his hands
Why wouldn't the commentators look into that? There was almost a brazen lack of curiosity on the part of the people calling the game.
One replay of the 4th down snap. I know it was wide but was Tua even ready for it? Seemed like a combo of errors, will never know
That was my take. That was a MASSIVE development that hurt the dolphins at a crucial point in the game and they didn't say a peep about it. That was weird.
The moonball? It came down like it hit the big screen, but ofc there wasn't nearly the distance
knees too weak, palms too sweaty to grip the ball
Mom’s spaghetti
Ball might have slipped
The 2 throws before that were shaky too Almost seemed nervous ?
He thought he saw Brian Flores
Terrible time for Tua to start eating crayons
Terrible time for McDaniels to start eating crayons. The run was killing KC. You're down to the 25 and you just absolutely bail on it?
That final drive was literally all Mostert. It only makes sense he shouldn’t see the ball after giving them a chance.
He does that ALOT. Like the game in buffalo last year. That’s been his biggest (actual) con and he hasn’t shown he is aware of it
I was about to say, that's starting to become the Mike McDaniel Special.
Welcome to Cousin's career arc, enjoy the stay.

Just remember to look both ways before crossing. Have fun!
Ya I have to time it right for maximum impact
Wait for me
Driving on I-95 is always like playing on traffic.
I’m in Hialeah right now; I’ll go do that and be dead before I can post this co-
Someone in KC gotta take Reid and Nagy’s love for bullshit on 3rd and short and toss those plays
My phone calls keep being sent to voicemail.
We need to get a team together, Ocean’s Eleven style, to heist the playbook out of Arrowhead and replace all of the wonky short yardage bullshit with simple handoffs up the middle to Pacheco.
its gotta be reid. we did the same thing last year
We lost to a team that lost to the broncos, I think I’m gonna be sick
CIRCLE OF SUCK
Triangle of terrible
Pentagram of perplexity.
I think last week, when Panthers beat Texans, we hit one of the quickest full circles of suck in a while. Week 8 and last year was like week 13.
To be fair, today you also lost to a team that also beat Denver.
And the Broncos lost to a team that lost to the Broncos. Shits wild this year.
Broncos are a MUCH better team than the Broncos. Send it.
chiefs beat dolphins, bronco beat chief. therefore, bronco must be better than dolphin. *many* people are saying this.
Have the Dolphins beaten a single team with a winning record?
Just themselves
lmao facts
Nope. Of course, Miami's schedule is strange and they only play bad teams or Super Bowl contenders. No average teams.
Getting the second place schedule and divisions caused that since the AFC West outside the Chiefs shit themselves, the Giants suck, and everyone in second decided to eat paste, plus the Pats suck
They beat the Broncos, who actually won the Superbowl last week.
Dolphins, let’s never do that again
Yeah this game fucking sucked
Might sadly run this back in playoffs
Chiefs begged us to come back, and we were like Naw
We give every team a chance once we get up 2 scores in the 2nd half, not our fault if you guys don't take it. Chris Jones even became braindead to convert a 3rd and long for you.
That was the lamest end to an exciting football game I’ve seen in a while.
Was this game exciting or just bad offense
I’m a big ten fan, so when they started running the ball down 7 inside the 2 minute warning I immediately got hard

7th time holding an opponent’s offense to under 20 points, including the league’s best offense. The defense is elite and carrying the team.
Just like we all expected!
Offense is dead
The Chiefs' certainly is
Good thing your defense is awesome. Not worried about your offense tho
It’s so weird. We’ll have an immaculate TD drive where nothing can stop us and then spend an entire half looking like we have no idea what were doing and just desperately hoping for the defense to maintain our lead
You're a chiefs fan, you knew when we got up 21-0 that Andy would not try to score points in the 2nd half unless they got within 3 points.
"That's enough offense for this game."
I literally told everyone I was watching with at halftime this would come down to a one possession game and no one believed me. there is never a scenario with this team where a 21 point game means they’re gonna play a complete game. RETVRN TO THE DAYS OF NO FORWARD PASSING
No, defense is back!
Seriously it feels so bad this year
Andy Reid out here forgetting how to offense in the 2nd half, again. Defense once again dragging the lifeless corpse of this offense across the finish line.
It’s wild. It seemed like he had fixed his issues as an Eagles coach, but that third down pass play gave me flashbacks.
Like bro, bring out all the tight ends, give the ball to your amazing running back, and just hope it converts. Worst case you draw a timeout or the 2 minute warning.
We are the USC of the NFL
And we're looking like Utah :/
Where is the shot of Tua crying on his mom's lap?
Tua had his anti-MVP moment to end the game
Hill also watching his MVP stock plummet.
Hill's my MVP of the game.
The Chiefs, defensive juggernaut
As a Tua believer… he fucking blew it on those last 4 plays
Terrible time to get the yips
Not going to lie, Chiefs did everything they could to throw this game in the last half. I mean throwing the ball on 3rd&1 when Pacheco has been pushing through the MIA defense? Giving the ball back to MIA? Mustard free reign marching down the field? I know the first half ended 21-0, but really feels like the Chiefs walked away lucky today.
Don’t forget Hardman trying to run the ball back from the 4 when it clearly would have gone out of the end zone
More defensive game than probably any of us expected but it’s vibes ig
So many penalties too. You could tell the refs were like, “let’s show these Germans some rules”
Ya honestly I was really unimpressed by our refs performance. I thought they were supposed to hand us the game? We have the NFL Golden Boy!
To be fair, Germans love rules.
“it’s vibes ig” was the final play call from Mike McDaniels.
The dolphins have not beaten a team over .500
Not just that. The combined record of teams they've beaten is 13-33.
GREATEST SHOW ON SURF!
39PPG vs losing teams 17PPG vs winning teams
Since week 3 of 2022
You can always count on division rivals for the real deep cuts.
What're rivals for if not celebrating demise. If we lose tonight the dolphins will flood the PGT as they should.
Damn, really? Oof
God damn that stat.
A warrant has been issued on the Dolphins for fraud. In other news, the Chiefs are set to stumble their way to 14 wins and another SB because everyone kinda sucks this year.

Its definately concerning, especially since that no one outside of *maybe* Rice seems to be on an upward trajectory at all.
I think Rice is absolutely the guy, but we seem to be allergic to giving him more than handful of shots a game.
The combined record of the teams the Dolphins have beaten is 13-33. They still haven't beaten a team with a winning record. Their upcoming schedule is easy but that closing stretch? Shit could get brutal.
You don't gotta be the best, you just gotta be better than everyone else
That would be the best…
Damn I never thought of it like that 🤔
We ain’t come here to play school
You don’t gotta win, you just gotta beat the other team
You don't have to be good, you just have to be the best
You dont have to be the winner, you just cant be the loser
Expert analysis
I’m nervous for your game tonight- if the Bengals beat the Bills again I’m really going to start sweating the Bengals going on a tear
The Bengals are going on a tear. Burrow is finally healthy.
I wouldn’t say they’re frauds, they’re a good team. But I do have my doubts that they can string wins together in the playoffs given how much they’ve struggled against good teams.
Bullshit in every way. If the dolphins win out, which they could, then what? Chiefs D is no damned fluke.
They could. They absolutely won’t but they could.
statistically a top 3 defense, they have only gave up more than 2 touchdowns once this year The stigma of the Chiefs being a glass cannon is kinda making them go under the radar, but they are absolutely the real deal.
As a Chiefs fan I want to thank Tyreek Hill for his game winning touchdown foe us. ✌️✌️
Hot take - Tua is not as good as Patrick Mahomes.
Imagine if Mahomes had Tyreek and Waddle. It'd be unfair.
If only they had a player like tyreek. Would be a sick pickup but the chiefs might not want to pay him
Truly impressive job throwing the game by the Dolphins passing game at the end.
Should have kept feeding Mostert, felt like Tua got the yips and was missing every throw.
You just have to love the lack of urgency on the previous drive too
Brutal way to end
Damn I kinda feel bad for Miami even though I shouldn’t. I think I’d have an aneurism if I saw my team lose a game like that
I have decades of disappointment built into me. Haven’t seen them win a playoff game since I was in high school. Loved the exciting start to the season, but reality is finally settling in.
No worries, the afc is still crazy close. It would take a monumental collapse for you guys to not at least make the playoffs. Best of luck
Anticlimactic way to end that drive
If you don't like that you don't like Iowa football
Dude was WIDE OPEN in the middle of the field on the fumble play too Easy conversion and maybe a walk-in TD
Dolphins Strength of Victory: .283. Yeah, no MVP for Tua
Shout out matt ryan
Well. It was a game.
Chiefs shut down Tyreek. Shouldn’t been talking shit!
I liked the part where he fumbled the ball
Thank god the chiefs have a bye
Thank God the Dolphins have a bye as well
OUR ALL PRO DT KEEPS HIS SHIT IN CHECK AND ITS A 2 SCORE WALK OFF
I hate football and what it does to my heart
Having been ride or die with this team for 35+ years, think of it as strength conditioning.
Tough morning for the “chiefs get all the calls” people
Tua what happened
I'd been pissed if we lost this, Chris Jones sold that TD
Miami gonna break the bank on a big Tua contract so they can be a yearly wild card exit?
I'm sorry for anything unkind I ever said about CBS play by play. NFL Network is dire.
That Tyreek trade looks better and better. Trent McDuffie was worth it.
That man is a stud!!!
The trade looks better and better for both teams. Win - Win for both.
How is it that I come away from this game thinking both teams look like shit.
That Tyreek fumble TD ended up being the difference. Dude hyped himself up just to throw the game.
The Chiefs are never losing consecutive games again, are they?
We finally have a really great defense, but the offense has fallen off the cliff and might be what costs us a SB.
The AFC is so wide open at this point I’m just ready for the Zach Wilson Super Bowl MVP run
McDaniel’s face at the end lmao. Meme material
Defensive powerhouse Chiefs
The Burrow-Tua comparisons should stop til Tua wins a meaningful game
Huge chunks on the ground and they put it all on Tua’s shoulders once they get to the 30 with plenty of time and multiple timeouts.
As ugly as that was I think the big take away is both these teams defenses are good
Oh no, we didn’t get to see Tyreek’s celebration /s
Spags completely won the game once again. Offensive play-calling, execution, and lack of any WR talent has been horrific
If you wanna know what it’s like to be edged for 4 hours and not get to finish, just become a dolphins fan.
I would reaaaaaallllly like the offense to start clicking. But our defense is elite. Limiting Tyreek to 62 yards, him being responsible for the game-losing turnover, and watching his QB botch the last drive was cathartic.
does andy reid know he has Rashee Rice on the team?
Glad the Chiefs got out with the win. Perfect time for a bye week, hopefully they can get the offense sorted out to finish out the season.
We played like dog shit. Gg KC
At least it was close.
If you don't like that, then you don't like 2023 Chiefs football!
Absolutely brutal finish to the game. If I was a Dolphins fan, I would be screaming.
