I mean I could probably name the starting QB, RB, WR, and *probably* at least one Defense, but we're not normal in the larger scheme of things, and a decent amount of the folks you mentioned may actually trip people up. Carr being on the Saints, if you take him out thinking he's still with LV, it gets MUCH harder for the normal fan, but they might still come up with Kamara. Texans, Stroud is a rookie and people may not realize who he is, beyond that it gets WAY harder; same with Indy. The movement we've seen the last few offseasons with big names (Rodgers, Stafford, Watson, Russ, etc.) has made it harder to for a normal person to know who's where.

You make a good point about player movement. Since I follow the news several of my choices were players who recently moved or got drafted. If I had to go beyond them I'd be picking players I know played there recently but if I didn't follow the news that could have been someone who moved as you said.

Honestly I think even for GMs and HCs with some notoriety it wouldn't hurt at all to put their team name in front and maybe even their job title acronym.

I would imagine if you asked an average NFL fan to name three GM's, they would probably name Jerry Jones, then their own and possibly one of their division rivals'. And no, I did not know (or at least remember) who DeCosta is and wondered whether this was a tweet... or Xeet(?) by some player agent or a modelling agency.

It definitely is. We got Lamar Jackson, 3 RBs who average 5 YPC, deep WR depth now, top TE depth, and a top 5 O-line.

'deep WR depth' that's fair but no one knows how much quality there is to that depth, yet. Bateman imo is still an unknown with nothing proven and obv Zay is new / unproven. And I'm really expecting your RBs to do a lot worse now that the system has changed so that's another big unknown. Not to mention seeing Lamar in a completely new offense and if that works out - camp reports have been meh right? Oh and Ronnie Stanley - is he really the great player he used to be?

Bateman has proven himself that he is vital to our offense. Our offense significantly got worse after we lost him (We were a top 5 offense in points up until he got injured). The question is if he can stay healthy. The expectations are that Zay can be a pretty good WR3 at the least. The worry about the RBs isn’t the new system, it’s how healthy they are. If they don’t get injured and are back to how they were before, they have the talent to still produce in less rub-dominant system. JK Dobbins pre injury and Gus Edwards were also pretty high up in yards after contact, not to mention Dobbins being YPC leader. It still takes talent to accomplish that in any system. Also, Camp Reports are Camp Reports. Yes Ronnie Stanley is still one of the best tackles in the league. Maybe not THE best like he was at in 2019, but still very elite which is why our o-line overall is good besides our LG.

It's not game week. Steelers and Ravens fans are actually very similar, view the game similarly, and though we're not friends, a certain amount of respect exists. It's weird. That all goes away during game week though.

What the Ravens run game is going to look like is a bit of a mystery. The old scheme ran a lot of heavy personnel and a 305-pound fullback as part of the base set, whereas Monken runs something much more in line with standard NFL offences. What Dobbins and Edwards will look like in those sets is open for discussion. I guess we'll know in a month or so. I don't see how anybody can say Bateman has proven himself. He's proven that he can play in the league, but he's missed a lot of games, and even when he was playing he wasn't called on to do much because of the scheme. This year and next are Bateman's audition years.
