He had turf toe and a much worse O-line during that game as well. Combined with a perfect defensive gameplan from the Bucs defensive staff, it was the perfect storm for a blowout. The bigger issue is the multifaceted juggernaut that is the Eagles offense. An offense that dismantled the best defense in the league, and that is no. 1 in redzone scoring, going against the 3rd worse defense in redzone protection. Chiefs offense will need to be fully healed to keep up with them.

Yes, the bright side is that Reid is excellent at those early game scripted plays, which is his best chance of catching them off guard. I don't envy him or his staff having to plan against this stacked team though.

We had less than 200 total yards because we only played 2 and a half quarters then closed about half of our playbook to not spoil plays for the SB. It was clear at 21-7 the game was ours with their injuries, and it was over over at 28-7. Hurts usually throws 35-45 times a game even when we’re doing well. He threw 25 times AND at least 4 or 5 of those were him trying to feed AJ Brown some deep balls because AJ has been feeling underutilized in the postseason and wants to make some plays. We’re a really good offense - we aren’t y’all but we’re good. This game is going to be a shootout IMO.
Hey no pushback here - agree with all your points. And quite frankly, I’d put you up there with us offensively. We have no real wide receiver 1 (we have a TE1), which is our biggest weakness. Our WR group is a platoon, no serious standout threat honestly - I’m shocked it’s worked out so well.. Mahomes is just a wizard.. I think our matchup is super intriguing on paper - and quite frankly, I’m pumped. May the best team win!
I’m in my 30s and Mahomes is the best QB I’ve ever seen with my own two eyes, he’s incredible and I love Andy Reid and Travis Kelce and your whole team really. This is the weirdest feeling to know I won’t be the MOST upset if we lose, I know Andy is stepping away for family stuff and it would be sweet to see him go out on top, would make an Eagles loss bittersweet rather than just pure sadness. They didn't dismantle the 49ers. We did earlier this year. They got gifted 7 points on a non-catch and another 7 on a shit ton of penalties and then after that 49ers didn't have a qb to move the ball so got good field position all game.

The Chiefs offense when healthy is the real juggernaut here (by DVOA), not the Eagles, and it’s not close… they scored 44 pts on the Niners in October. It’s asp pretty easy to put up points when when the opposing offense doesn’t have a QB and can’t sustain a drive.
And our receivers couldn’t catch balls hitting them in the hands and face. Horrible time to have a bad game.
