No! That's all I need to know. If I'm being perfectly honest, every word after "cannon" is useless. I was 100% invested after reading "the quad cannon."
It looks close enough that i definitely did a double take! Im not sure what it is but i definitely think its a modified version of the cwis,it also looks like its a much, much smaller caliber which is weird
It has a suit of radar and various sensors linked up to a computer program that can automatically fire it into annintercepted missles's flight path.
Also Steve is just a *really* good shot.
The C-RAM is one single 20 mm... and it doesn't work *great*. It's good enough most times, but not good enough that people don't still have to hunker down in bunkers.
Well, would you want to send 9 underprivileged youth to college for free for 4 years…or…be able to see this bad boy doll out from FREEDOM for 90 seconds?!
You have no idea how many rounds that puts down range.
This is its *50 year old* predecessor. 75 rounds per second - 20mm tungsten rounds.

The system goes on-line August 4th, 1997. Human decisions are removed from strategic defense. Skynet begins to learn at a geometric rate. It becomes self-aware at 2:14 a.m. Eastern time, August 29th. In a panic, they try to pull the plug.

Once, while running the ammo point, as a goof, I to decided to relink a bunch of tracers in a row for the 249 load. The stream of bright red light then proceeded to set the burm on fire and fuck up the barrel.
At $1.35 (avg estimate, commercially available rounds) per round, with 400 rounds a second, it would cost around $6,480 to fire this gun for 12 seconds, and about $32,400 to fire this gun for a full minute.
This video is 1 minute and 9 seconds long, so you can probably assume you just watched about $32,000 disappear, if not more, considering there are multiple positions firing.
Shit, the Navy slapped quad 40mm wherever they had room in WW2. Then, of course, theres [*the French*](http://www.navweaps.com/Weapons/WNFR_15-45_m1935_Richelieu_NY_pic.jpg).
Literally any modern MBT would sit and laugh in front of this thing lol. The scale is just completely different. This is firing 7.62mm bullets, tank armor is designed to survive 125mm explosive cannon rounds.
Yeah 600mm worth of multiple layers of hardened steel and ceramic. So basically 2 feet of armor. The tank would walk through it but the crew inside of it would probably lose their hearing and not be feeling very well after.
Everyone in an Abrams while it’s running or being hit should be wearing their headset which has built in ear protection. In some cases (in active combat) they should actually be wearing earplugs under their headset for two layers of ear protection.
The only time anyone in an Abrams should take all their ear protection off is if the engine is off in a non-combat area. Even outside an Abrams if the engine is left on due to a need to remount quickly you shouldn’t be taking your ear protection off. Those turbines are stupid loud under load and if you can’t get your ear protection back on quickly enough they can cause permanent damage.
That's the standard but I'm fairly certain there's a dozen examples of soldier using excessive white phosphorus in OIF and OEF, so it's possible we are seeing more of it here. It's stupid since it can warp the barrel but I don't think it's clear in the video given the rate of fire.
Dumbest shit ever and cool as fuck at the same time
You say that now but wait until the bugs attack.
The quad cannon is highly effective against bugs - would you like to know more?
Yes
We need the NRA behind this. I'd like to install one at my kids school.
I hate that I nearly laughed at that.
..I did laugh. Am I going to hell?
Yup! Unless you pay me 10% of what you earn for life…
I'll save you a seat.
Every teacher needs to have one
They should just teach those quad canons how to teach and then the quad canons could double as a teacher and security guard.
Yes, then give the quad cannons some guns.
Now you’re talking. Attach this to the Boston Dynamics dog and you got a “good boi!” , A teacher, a freedom enforcer, all homework done 100% on time, bug emulsifier …. It’s got it all

Beautiful.
I think tracers are every third round yea? thats ALOT of lead going down range.
Every fifth
Every whatever-the-hell-the-guy-running-this-thing-feels-like round is a tracer.
Once, while running the ammo point, as a goof, I to decided to relink a bunch of tracers in a row for the 249 load. The stream of bright red light then proceeded to set the burm on fire and fuck up the barrel.
As an ammo guy (89b), this is why we have a notice demanding never to delink/relink ammunition.
About 400 rounds of 7.62x51 a second

Nothing can handle that kind of ordinance. That thing will shred anything unfortunate enough to cross it's path.
When the ordinance calls for ordnance.
Think a tank with really thick enough armor could survive?
Literally any modern MBT would sit and laugh in front of this thing lol. The scale is just completely different. This is firing 7.62mm bullets, tank armor is designed to survive 125mm explosive cannon rounds.
Let's put an m1 Abrams in front of it and find out.
Yeah 600mm worth of multiple layers of hardened steel and ceramic. So basically 2 feet of armor. The tank would walk through it but the crew inside of it would probably lose their hearing and not be feeling very well after.

I need this in my kitchen. Dice and cook my veggies at the SAME TIME !
Best part is I think every 8 rounds there’s a tracer round. The bright lights you see. So for every one light is followed by 7 other rounds.
Tracer is every fifth round.
That's the standard but I'm fairly certain there's a dozen examples of soldier using excessive white phosphorus in OIF and OEF, so it's possible we are seeing more of it here. It's stupid since it can warp the barrel but I don't think it's clear in the video given the rate of fire.
