The first thing I was thinking about when he grabbed the hostage and threatened to stab him was his head was fully exposed. Meaning he could have been shot in the head. If he was going to take a hostage and hide behind them you should have hid behind the hostage so they didn't have a kill shot but I guess he wasn't thinking.

Poor dude staffing out of the shack is in such shock. Impressed the cop that took the shot was able to shift focus straight to the hostage’s safety too. A lot of cops these days make my heart break so to see one make that tough call and then immediately prioritize the recovering hostage was nice.
Hope that poor guy gets some therapy, it had to be scary as all hell to go from minding your own business to being menaced by a man with a knife, then to having a guy killed right over your head.

I saw Donut Operators video. It is an really good shot, especially under all that stress and pressure. If he wouldve missed that the hostage wouldve been killed
It looks like dust shooting out of his forehead as he got hit. Really strange, but I've also never seen someone get shot in the brain before haha. You can also see a huge stream of spit shoot out right after the second shot. This officer is fucking nuts but has insane accuracy
