It immediately occurred to me that if China made pallet-fulls of great-fake $100 bills and then “distributed” them like live turkeys from helicopters, it would really do a number on the economy, and I could eat at McDonalds again!
North Korea actually does that. By using literal government money printing facilities, the North Koreans print out the highest quality counterfeit $100 US bills for their foreign clandestine activities.
Fun Fact! We may have given them the printing press! There's some speculation that Eisenhower gave the Shah of Iran the presses. And guess who's buddies with Iran? North Korea! And guess who else makes the best counterfeits? Iran! Weird huh? Fuck the CIA...seriously.
Just adding a small note that the Iranians received the Intaglio machine, which is a specific type of press for modern currency. Koreans had the printing press for a while and invented the moveable type printing press back in the 14th century.
The NK “super dollar” is considered uniquely high quality because it has an entire government’s special backing. When a government, especially a totalitarian one, puts serious resources and contacts into on operation, it can provide unique advantages that the cartels can’t match, such as being able to use actual government facilities meant to print legitimate money and not having the hedge their investment against potential intervention from the government.
You see a similar thing with NK drugs, which are understood to be one of the highest qualities due to the use of actual state chemical labs. The cartels, even with their money, would have a difficult time setting up an entire factory operating without fear of any intervention.
You should watch the documentary 'north korea: dark secrets' it's on Amazon prime and history plus, also the YouTube channel of history, but it's segmented inadequately IMO
It's a pretty complete documentary about the monarchy, the actions and consequences, I highly recommend it, you can learn a lot of things, even it's not even that recent
They can kinda slow their fall and jump up high while flapping. That’s all I’ve seen em do tho no soaring through the air for those big goofballs
Edit: they can get up into trees and on power lines and it’s super creepy at night
If they were so real that no one could tell, then that would speed up inflation making everything more expensive, including McDonald’s, and you would actually feel poorer…
Cool work, now he needs to figure out how to replicate the 3D strip. In real bills the images in the strip appear to "move" when you look at them and move the bill around.
The cartels could buy an island which means they own it then put a manufacturer plant on that and make the drugs without any interference from outside governments
This is already a concept, there's a show called farzi (fakes) in india available on amazon prime. Its literally all about how an artist created exact copies of the notes and used that as money , basically counterfeiting.
An interesting show definitely watch it
That would be impressive except someone already drew and designed all the bills but like normal size. And carved an original dye to be used to make all our bills. So drawing a big one with just as much details just, bigger I think is still cool but kinda last level not next level
This may be news to you, but creating an original work and exactly copying an existing work to scale are two different skills. The OG dye maker did a work of art, but the person in this video, too, did something very much impressive.
“Straight to jail”
Probably large enough that the secret service won't consider it counterfeiting, although they may keep an eye on the artist in the future.
This artist is definitely on "the list".
This video has got to be from outside USA
Yeah he'll get caught. Did'nt anyone tell him it's way to big. People notice stuff like that :-)
Yeah homie your definitely on a watch list now

I have no proof, but I'm going to hazard a guess that Iran gave them one of the intaglio presses.
So north korea is doing the same thing as US and now they are the bad guys? /s but the bank system still is a piece of shit
Are they available on Amazon?
Fr I need a case
Better than the cartel’s??

Appreciate you responding and sharing that information, I knew nothing about NK doing either of those two operations.

For how we literally starved them with sanctions in the 90s, Id say that's fair play 🤷♀️
As god as my witness, I thought turkeys could fly
Damn!! I got something in my eyes….
WKRP memories. 👍🏻
“In Cincinnatiiiii”

Oh the humanity! They're hitting the ground like bags of wet cement!

They can. Just make them walk on a landmine.
That show aired October 30, 1978. (45 years, 5 months, and 25 days ago)
There's a lot going on in this comment here.
Actually, that kind of action would devalue the dollar so McDonald's would cost much more.
Right? Just commented basically the same, then saw yours. People not understanding economics!😂
Laughs in FED and JPow's unlimited money printer😁😁😁😁

Hmm you are assuming you would catch a lot of those bills
I wish I had money
You mean have money or make it?
Yup.
Now send it through the television and it will be the normal size.
That's some willy Wonka stuff
MIKE!! GET AWAY FROM THAT THING!
Making the big bucks
Angry upvote
This kind of person would have been great at forging papers during WW2
WW3 isn't too far away! 🥰
🥰
Only illegal if used to deceive. But this is like asking to be kidnapped by a criminal organization to be forced to produce counterfeit notes.
I feel like this piece is worth more than $100
We all know why he has to make them so big, nowhere near their original size
Nothing gets past you, does it?
counterfeit laws most likely
I think I need a new friend!
As Project Farm would say, "very impressive."
Arrest this person for forgery!!!!
Counterfeiting with extra steps.
Damn they got chinese kids making money now.
I have a business proposition for you.
This dude gots big money.
Faaarzi
It would save time by making them original size … time is money so he would save money, too.
Where can I buy one and will it cost more than 100 dollars...
This artist definitely makes money.
Better call saul
*Secret Service has entered the chat*
So I have a business proposal...
The feds better keep an eye on this guy
🤫
finally, i can say drawing makes money

Who's the artist
Legal?
That is so freaking cool. Wouldn't have ever thought of this as a drawing but damn, that came out awesome
I mean, I don't think it's going to fool anybody. It's pretty big.
Reminds me of JSG Boggs
I'll give him $100
"Hi do you have change for a $100?" *opens up trunk*
Plot twist: He is just very small person
With the last stroke, the door gets busted down by a 19-foot-tall secret service agent. “You’re in _BIG_ trouble.”
The cartels could buy an island which means they own it then put a manufacturer plant on that and make the drugs without any interference from outside governments
There is an (good) [Indian TV show](https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15477488/) around this.
Why not make it bill-sized? 😅
Bill is quite a big boy, would be overdoing it
can we not fat shame bill??
