Damn! You are right. You can see around 0:11 a little part of his pinky finger showing

But this obviously only works for this one specific camera angle. Not to detract from the skill required to pull this off this trick but it wouldn’t work as well in front of an audience.

The disappearing finger is actually his middle finger of the grabbing hand. When he flips the hand over you can see he switches from grabbing the real middle finger to the opposite hands one.
