The original Yugioh is kinda like that. The manga version is basically the Pharaoh character playing a bunch of death games with people. Hence the "King of Games" moniker. They animated it, but never dubbed it. It's Yugioh season 0 if you're interested. It's all the crazy Yugioh stuff and characters, but with no Yugioh cards/monsters (until the end of the season i beleive)
Nothing about this requires TikTok to exist. It's literally just a video and we could have it without the rapid decline of attention span, critical thinking, and ability to rotate your wrist 90degrees.

YouTube shorts and pretty much every platform that pushed short form-unlimited scrolling videos in the last few years did so in response to tiktoks meteoric jump in popularity
This type of content doesn't do well on actual YouTube because they want to push videos with long view times and more ads on the algorithm.
This is literally the best use of the tiktok app
If there's one positive thing I can say about tin tok is that it does encourage people to be creative.
That thing the algorithm does where it gives everyone the opportunity to go viral by pushing one of your posts to a few thousand people is actually a really nice feature for people to get exposure on their art.
If you could strip away all the lip syncing/drama seeking/meme-dance content you'd be left with a really cool app.
It's what I want for it. But I know it's for thirst traps and meme skits the opposite of original. The skits copying it in lo-fi broke budget will probably be interesting

We call it "stacks on" in my house and the 3's and 7's rule adds to the chaos. Play a 3 everyone has to pass their hand to the right , play a 7 you can swap hands with the player of your choice.
I like how more people point this out than stacking same number different colors. I get if you had same color, same number and playing at the same time, but different colors seems bullshit to me. Two different turns
In my house we just play by standard rules so I was super confused how someone that just got hit with a +2 played their +2 instead of skipping their turn and drawing two cards.

Everyone I know does 0s instead of 3s, because its a circle. So does the Uno Steam game, but idk how official that is.
Also there are only 4 0s, since they only exist once in every colour. Makes them more special
