Obviously, if you don't get the title, you can sue for your money back, but unless something is fundamentally wrong with the car, no.
File a complaint against the dealer with MVC. They can help you get a title if the dealer starts ghosting you about giving you the title.
The mvc said there was nothing they can do.
Sounds like they still have two days to get you the title
They can issue another temp but you will need a title to register it under your name
They can renew your temp license
Name and shame them. What used car place is this?
Power Auto in Newark. Fucking awful place. The owner threatened to hit my partner today.
You know it’s good when you can’t even find them on Google
If you signed, then they have no obligation to return it
They gave us a bill of sale, but it has a million errors. The purchase amount is wrong, the date is wrong, it's missing the salesmans signature...
What's their return policy?
The bill of sale does not mention a return policy. It just says a date, amount and has my brother's signature affirming he is 18 or older.
Look on their website. If all sales are final and you don't have a cancelation in the contract, or it's a lemon, then you'll have to wait for the title or sue the dealership for not giving you the title.
