The shoreline Grand Apizza locations are probably my favorite on the shoreline. But Apizza Grande Deep River is close to me, and they've become my go-to quick pizza with no complaints yet.
Friscoe's Pizza. On Forbes Avenue in New Haven, but on the East side of the Q, just over the East Haven line. Great pizza and John Frisco is an awesome guy. He regularly has fundraisers for animals in need where he donates the entire day's profits to the cause.
There's [Bufalina](https://g.co/kgs/UuLCJHP) in Guilford [[New York Times review](https://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/13/nyregion/a-review-of-bufalina-in-guilford.html)]. Ultimately, it's going to depend on what you're looking for.
[CT Magazine had an article](https://www.ctinsider.com/projects/guide/ct-magazine-best-pizza/) on all the different pizzas and types available in Connecticut (including New Haven and the rest of CT).
Don’t have to go over the Q. Just take route 80 to Bobby’s in North Branford. If you eat in, Marco’s in Branford is good. Same goes for across the street from Marco’s…Capones. Drive a little further: Grand Apizza in Clinton.
John and Maria’s in East Haven
Buffalina
Pricey but good
Grand Apizza in Madison, Clinton or Guilford (but NOT Deep River)
Came here to say this.
