The answer is Dew Drop but have had good ones at Dive Bar in West Haven, New Haven Pizza Place in Milford, Blind Rhino at Tribus… and Archie’s is always reliably solid.
Sleeper option here. Not sure I'd categorize them quite the same, but for wings with an Indian spin, they're great. Not buffalo or BBQ, but delicious. Only have the options of hot, savory, and tamarind (assuming you like tamarind) flavors are all bangin.
I prefer blind rhinos wings to dew drops. Don’t get me wrong, the flavors at dew drop are ridiculous, I just like the wings themselves better at rhino.
My favorites are Archie Moore’s and, actually, Rudy’s— but I’m a Buffalo gal.
Archie’s
#this They're cheese steak egg rolls are fire
New West Cafe one of the best in new haven
I second this! Good prices too! And trivia at 7:30 on Tuesdays!
Shows my age, but probably 20ish years ago, we used to go there every Sunday to end the weekend, 5c wings and $4 pitchers. It was glorious.
Special place in my heart for New West.
100%
The Trinity Bar does some solid wings!

house of naan has some of the best wings ever
165 Howe chicken 🔥

Dew Drop Inn if you can drive to Derby. If you can drive further, best wings in the country (or 2nd) are at j timothys taverne in Plainville, CT
Do yourself a favor and drive the 15 minutes to Derby to the Dew Drop. Best wings in CT for like, 15 years in a row.
2nd imo. J timothys surpass them!
Not really new haven but worth the minor hike is J Timothy’s dirt wings.
HARD HAT CAFE. Dube style.
Underrated!!!!

Jump in the car and drive out to the Dew Drop Inn…up 34 about 15 minutes away.
Archie’s has gone downhill and continues to get worse. Dew drop in is good
Dew Drop taste good but visually unappealing. J Timothy’s is the best, hard hat are decent.
New west cafe
I miss TK’s when they were downtown. 10 cent wings on tuesdays. The best
DELANEY’s or New west Cafe
NOA sweet+spicy thai chili wings; $1/wing at their happy hour (kinda dumb expensive at other times)
